Chương 154: No More Waiting

An arrow cut through the air and headed straight for the coach's eyes. The arrow mirrored in the coach's eyes, and just as it was about to pierce him, a hand reached out and stopped the arrow. The coach's body trembled and he looked at the one that stopped it.

"I could kiss you right now!" Lucas' cold face crumbled in disgust.

"You do that and I will be the one killing you." Seeing Lucas' trembling hands, almost as if contemplating stabbing him with the arrow, the coach began sweating bullets.

"Roger that!" Suddenly, the sound of more arrows was heard and the students screamed. Just as they thought that some would die, Lucas put some force into his hand and threw the arrow from his hand. The arrow flew at a tremendous speed and broke all the other arrows that were heading for the students.

"What?! How is that possible?" The students looked at each other in shock, then at Lucas. To them, it felt like a holy light was shining on his body. Lucas' mouth twitched and he hurriedly thought of an excuse.

"I… do yoga once a day." A wave of silence followed through the crowd as the students felt like they had some hearing problems. Suddenly, a loud laugh was heard from the back of the crowd.

"Haha. Yoga? You really said yoga?" The person couldn't stop laughing. Lucas' expression turned embarrassingly cold. He then scanned to see who it was, he expected Lydia or someone else, but when he saw who it was, his eyelids twitched.

Suddenly, he heard giggles from some other people and when he looked over, he saw Allison and Lydia holding back their laughter.

"Sigh…" Lucas looked down at the ground, defeated. Then he glanced at the coach and spoke.

"I think that we had enough exercise for today, would you agree, coach?" The coach broke from his daze and nodded hurriedly.

"Ah? Yes! Let's go, guys! Move your asses or they will be filled with arrows!" When he heard him, Lucas' mouth twitched, then he watched as the coach started leading the students away.

"The Nogitsune was responsible, am I right?" Allison approached and gazed at him seriously. He looked at her and Lydia and nodded, with the corner of his eye, he could also see Scott and Kira trying to listen.

"It's time to end this." Letting the Nogitsune continue playing its games wasn't an option anymore, he needed to kill it. •••• The last class for the day was finished and while everyone was leaving, Lucas stayed in place and gazed at the teacher. Ken, the teacher, finally spotted him and glanced at him in confusion.

"Can I help you with something, Mr. Ashford?" Lucas didn't respond and waited for the last student to leave, when the door closed, he finally spoke.

"You're a very good actor, Mr. Yukimura." Ken's face didn't show a ripple, just a normal confused expression, like any normal person.

"I don't know what you mean." Lucas stepped slowly and arrived in front of him.

"Oh come on…after all, your wife sent her warriors after me." Then he put a hand on his chin and smiled evilly.

"Of course, she stopped after I killed one Oni, quite disappointed by her decision." Ken stepped back and grabbed the desk behind him.

"I still don't know…" Just as he was about to continue, Lucas waved his hand and stopped him.

"Is the tail still here?" Ken's pupils shrank, but he forced himself not to look toward that spot.

"I'll take it as a yes." Lucas smiled and, to Ken's shocked expression, went straight for the hiding spot and opened a book. When he opened it, his expression turned indifferent and he showed Ken the empty book. But when he saw the shocked expression on Ken's face, he realized what was going on.

"You didn't know that it was missing." Ken stared in a daze at the empty book and almost fell to the ground, but he managed to hold on to the desk. Lucas ignored him and walked away, it was time to end the Nogitsune once and for all. •••• Just as night fell and all the people left the school, two suspicious characters were sneaking around the Beacon Hills sign in front of the school. The man in front turned around and whispered angrily.

"I told you to stop following me." The other man glanced at him nonchalantly and responded.

"I will watch you, in case you take more than you deserve." The moonlight flashed on their faces and their identities became clear. It was Peter and Derek.
