Chương 125: First Confrontation

"So you're the Demon of Beacon Hills?" Aiden glanced at him with contempt.

"Demon?" Lucas felt that the nickname was a bit too much. He was a good guy after all.

"He doesn't seem like much of a threat." Ethan looked at his brother, Aiden, and added. Lucas smiled at their sarcasm and responded.

"Yeah, rumors tend to exaggerate things. Like you two, for example. Two good-for-nothing Alphas still sucking on your mommy's titties."

"What did you say?!" Aiden bared his teeth and looked as if he would lunge at him. Ethan was pissed off too, but he stopped Aiden from acting in the hallway. Lucas took a few steps forward and faced off against the brothers.

"For an Alpha, you sure like to act cowardly." Aiden's eyes turned red, and his fangs started appearing. Even Ethan didn't care anymore and sneered at him, then looked at Allison and Lydia behind him.

"Wait till we get a piece of that!" Lucas' smile vanished from his face. His hands relaxed at his sides, and from the corner of his eye, he watched the clock on the wall. The twins smiled when they saw him finally pissed. At that moment, the school bell rang, and soon all of the students left.

"You are do—ugh!" Before Ethan could continue, Lucas' claws embedded directly into his jaw and lifted his body off the ground.

"Ethan!" Just as Aiden was about to attack, Lucas' left fist made contact with his chest and sent him flying into the lockers.

"What? Do you think I will just let you two fuse? Two washed-up Alphas. Only together can you barely pose a threat!" Lucas sneered as he looked into Ethan's eyes. He felt that their strength while separated amounted only to that of Derek's when he first became an Alpha. Lydia unconsciously grabbed a piece of his jacket and looked at the scene in fright, while Allison regretted not bringing her gun to school.

"ROARHH!" Aiden got up from the ground and shifted into his werewolf form. Just as he was about to rush at him, he stopped. Lucas' other hand rested directly on Ethan's throat. One wrong move and his brother was gone.

"Let go of him!" Aiden grimaced as he knew he wouldn't be fast enough to stop him. Ethan couldn't even speak and watched this with hatred in his eyes. He could feel the bones in his jaw cracking under Lucas' enormous strength, and his claws digging deep into his skin. Lucas ignored the other twin and stared at him.

"Should I kill you?" His voice was very calm, but it made Ethan's body tremble unconsciously. At that moment, he felt that Lucas was Deucalion, preparing to kill him. Before Lucas could get an answer, footsteps could be heard in the distance, and voices were getting closer. Ethan could hear them too. He smiled and looked at Lucas with a smug expression. He didn't believe that Lucas would dare kill him in front of others.

"Lucas…" Just as Lucas was contemplating whether he should really kill him, Allison grabbed his hand and shook her head. Lucas glanced at her for a few seconds, then back at the happy twins.

"Well, at least let me give you a gift."

"What?!" Ethan looked at him suspiciously, but his answer came pretty quickly as Lucas began engraving something on his chest with his claws.

"Ahghrrr!" It didn't take long, and a scythe was engraved on him. Lucas smiled, satisfied with his work.

"The Mark of Death! You should be honored. Although you will not live long… you can tell stories about me in hell."

"You fu**ing psycho!" Ethan was beyond shocked, but before he could say anything else, his body was sent flying directly into another room. Lucas then glanced at Aiden and gestured in that direction.

"Aren't you going to make sure your brother is fine?" Aiden growled at him, then ran to check on his brother. Lucas glanced at his back, then at the incoming students. If he continued fighting the twins, they would witness everything.

"We're okay, aren't we? They don't seem that strong." Even though Lydia asked, she was more reassuring herself. Lucas smiled at her so she could calm down, then spoke.

"It's unfortunate that I missed this chance to weaken them." Unfortunately, he couldn't do that in front of others, or else he would become the most wanted man in America.

"What will we do now?" Allison glanced at the spot where the twins had left and started getting worried. He gently stroked her cheek, calming her agitated mood.

"We hunt!" •••• Lucas looked at the name on the door and entered.

"I didn't expect to see you here." Marin lifted her head and smiled when she saw that it was Lucas. He closed the door and sat in front of her.
