Chương 122: Hideout 2

The area was huge, and in the middle, it even had a swimming pool. On the right, it had a section filled with gaming equipment and beautiful pool tables to the side. Then he led them to the room on the left. There they saw a big movie screen. That was the cinema room. The final room was more ordinary, but it was a cozy space for relaxing. When they got back to the entrance, Allison and Lydia stared at the huge screen behind the pool.

It was showing a forest where it was raining, and the sound traveled through the space, making the atmosphere relaxing.

"I didn't know you were loaded!" Lydia scanned the entire space in wonder. What she saw cost at least more than her house, and she wasn't poor. He smiled and didn't respond. What was the meaning of money if you couldn't use it? Besides this, there was another lower floor, but only he and Allison could access it. While Lydia was looking around, she suddenly saw a door leading to a room that he hadn't shown them.

"What's in that room? Something important?" Lucas didn't respond and swiped the scanner, and the door opened. It was a room filled with weightlifting equipment. The reason it was more secure was for ordinary people like John, not for someone who knew about the supernatural. At first, Lydia thought it was just a simple gym, but when she got closer and saw tons written on them, she froze.

"Is this for real?" Then she looked around and saw massive pieces of metal on the side. Although Allison was also surprised, she knew about the tremendous amount of power that shapeshifters had, so it wasn't odd for Lucas to have it. Lucas walked over to a big ball with "One Ton" written on it. He grasped the handle and easily lifted the weight off the ground.

"What do you think you are? A T. rex? You're just a banshee." Lydia glared at him, then looked at her friend, who was holding back her laughter.

"It's not fair! Why do I only get to see creepy stuff?" Allison had shown her the bestiary, so she had learned more about banshees. Just as Allison was laughing, she suddenly remembered something and turned towards Lucas.

"Last night my father chased two of Derek's betas, but he lost them. From what I heard, someone grabbed them first." Lucas' face turned serious when he heard this.

"They are here!"

"Who?" Both of them stared at him in confusion. They hadn't seen him so serious until now. Lucas didn't respond immediately and took them to the cozy room. There he opened a computer and showed them pictures of several people.

"The Alpha Pack! As the name suggests, it's filled with alphas." He then showed them a picture of a blind man.

"He's the most dangerous, the leader of the pack." Both were overwhelmed by this sudden information. Just thinking of having to deal with multiple Peters made them frustrated. Lydia trembled slightly as she remembered Peter's terrifying figure.

"Great! More than one Peter!"

"No! You think too little of Peter." His statement made them look at him in doubt.

"Peter is a Hale! He wasn't just an ordinary alpha, he was a monster amongst them. I can only think of Deucalion as a stronger alpha." Although he didn't like him, Peter was a strong alpha, but rage got the better of him and led to his demise. Of course, there were the twins too, but it wasn't like they couldn't get separated.

"What should we do?" While Lydia was biting her nails, Allison entered her hunter mode. She couldn't show panic and hold Lucas back.

"Wait!" This answer made her glance at him in doubt, but he continued.

"For now, we aren't their target. Derek and Scott are."

"Scott?" She almost doubted that she had heard correctly.

"It's his potential." He didn't explain further, as he wasn't even sure if Marin had discovered something. A lot of things had changed, and Scott's life had become much easier. He didn't have to confront the Argents or fight the Kanima. So he wasn't sure if the druid could still see something. But one thing he was sure of was that Scott still had the potential to become a True Alpha. That wouldn't magically disappear unless he killed somebody. Seeing him not continue explaining, she didn't ask more.

She then got up and went to grab some drinks. While Allison was gone, he could see Lydia constantly glancing at him.

"Say it." She looked at Allison's back and opened her mouth.
