A group of people was seen talking and singing, then they stopped in front of a big door. When they showed their card, the guards opened the door. Just as they entered, a gush of wind passed by the guard. He looked around in alert and calmed down quickly. He thought he was just tired. Without his knowledge, the guard had just invited death inside. Inside, it was full of people partying, having fun until the night allowed it.
"Tap!" A knock was heard on the bar as the bartender served a drink to the new unwelcomed guest. He took the drink and gulped it in one go.
"Ahh! Good one! Another!" He watched as the bartender filled the glass and gulped it again in one go. He did this several times before the bartender couldn't help but ask him curiously: "Do you have a sorrow to speak of, my friend?" He leaned on the bar, ready to listen. He was always happy to learn new gossip. The man put down the drink, and he first looked at the people around, then focused his gaze back on him. His gaze was filled with pity.
"Unfortunately… I am the Harbinger Of Death!"
"Haha…" The bartender laughed a few times, then his laugh became hoarse as he observed that the man was serious. His face twitched a few times, and he glanced at the guard not far away. His face was moving like he was having a seizure. After a long exhausting effort from him, the guard finally noticed something and came over.
"What's going on!" The bartender leaned over and whispered to him what had happened. The guard looked over at the man, and his gaze sharpened.
"Are you looking for trouble, gringo?!" The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings. The man didn't bother glancing at him and took the bottle and poured himself another drink. Just as he was about to drink it, the man tried to swipe it away.
"SLAP!" The only thing he got was a backhand slap from the man, and his body slid a few meters on the ground. Once down, he didn't get up again. In that moment, the music stopped and all the people retreated a distance from the bar. The guard quickly surrounded the bar, and they pointed their weapons at the still drinking man.
"Who are you?!" X3 The man put down the drink and turned his body towards them.
"The name is Lucas… Lucas Ashford." All the surrounding people had no idea what it meant, but the guards pointed even more weapons when they heard the name. Lucas paid no mind to them and looked over at the ordinary people.
"I think that you should go now…" One man seemed to wake up and quickly made his way out. The guards didn't stop him. Soon, a wave of people scrambled to get out. A few minutes later, the people all got out, but the guards multiplied. A door was suddenly opened and an old woman was slowly making her way in front. By now, Lucas was surrounded by more than 25 guards. Many had fully automated weapons. The woman's face trembled when she laid eyes on him, but not from fear, but from deep grief and anger.
"Good! Good! I dreamed of the day I would rip your heart out for what you did to my Severo!" His expression was without emotion in the face of the woman's words, and the alcohol seemed not to have the effect he wanted.
"Araya Calavera… your family has been marked!" Araya's eyes shrank, but quickly rage took over.
"Marked?! Do you think we are afraid of the stories?! We will be the ones that finally kill all the Ashfords!" Lucas got up and looked at her.
"Even if you kill me, the Ashfords will still exist. Unfortunately, there's going to be only one family vanishing from this world, and it's not going to be mine!" Araya couldn't wait any longer and pointed her gun at him.
"BANG!" The gun recoiled as the bullet headed straight for his head. Her eyes widened as she watched Lucas' head tilt and dodge the bullet.
"You're not human! You're a disgrace to your ancestors!" He shook his head amusingly and stretched his arms.
"Don't worry, I'm not the first." Before she could think about the meaning of his words, Lucas used the bar as leverage and jumped right in the middle of the hunters.
"Hello!" He smiled brightly at the bald man in front of him, then twisted his head gently. Of course, he was gentle and the man was totally not dead; he was just sleeping.
"Fire!" Araya's voice could be heard screaming. The men were in disarray; if they shot, they could kill their colleagues. Lucas smiled at this. That was his goal from the beginning. In this cramped space, they were all in his reach and they had to worry about friendly fire.
"Let the slaughter begin!"
