Chương 131: The Darach

Lucas couldn't help but be bewildered by her courage. She must have really smoked something powerful. Jennifer's venomous eyes stared coldly at Lucas.

"I will enjoy wiping that smug smile off your face!" Lucas couldn't help but look away from her face. He felt that he was being attacked just by her horrendous face. Just as they were discussing, Derek clenched his stomach and approached Jennifer.

"What's going on?!" Jennifer gazed at him, then gently stroked his face.

"Help me, Derek! Lucas is a monster that needs to be stopped." Derek's pupils shrank, and he looked at Lucas, his face struggling visibly. When Jennifer was asking for an answer with her eyes, he dodged them and looked away.

"I see!" Her face turned cold, and with a push of her hand, Derek flew directly into the wall.

"Thump!" Derek clenched his teeth in pain and had an unbelievable expression as he looked at her.

"Cough! Why?!"

"Oh, honey, didn't you figure it out already?" Just as they were talking, everybody was looking behind her. There, Peter was creeping behind her back. Lucas raised an eyebrow as he looked at Peter.

"I don't know who you are, but die!" Peter spoke and flashed his claws directly at her throat. Just as he thought he would succeed, Jennifer grabbed his hand without a problem. Her hand was steady as if his strength was insignificant.

"What the f..?!" Before Peter could even finish, his body was sent directly into Derek. She looked at them with a smile, then turned her head toward where Lucas was, but she was stunned when only Allison was there.

"Looking for me?" She felt a shiver run down her spine as she looked behind her in panic. Just a meter away, the naked Lucas stood there looking at her with a smile. "I wonder what I will get from her?" He had never killed something like a Druid before, even though she was the evil version.

"Wh-what?!" Jennifer was confused by his blabbering. Her heart started racing; she hadn't even felt his presence before he talked. Hearing her made him come to his senses, and he glanced at her. He then started walking towards her, his posture very relaxed, making Jennifer's heart tremble with every step. She clenched her teeth, then swung both her hands in his direction. When she did that, Lucas felt a tingling sensation on his skin as if something was trying to push him away.

"Are you trying to give me a massage?" Jennifer was dumbfounded when nothing happened. She involuntarily took a step back, her face trembling in front of Lucas.

"SLAP!" Jennifer touched her face in disbelief. The burning sensation brought rage to her eyes.

"How dare you?!" Unfortunately for her, now her real face came into sight. Everyone was shocked, but the most affected by this was Derek. He couldn't believe that this was really her face. Then his face turned ugly as he realized the meaning of Lucas' words.

"Wow! Look at that, my hand is magical too!" He displayed his hand towards her with a smile. Allison burst into laughter, making the atmosphere even funnier. In contrast with Derek's dark face, Peter clearly enjoyed this sight.

"You.?!! Gurgl..!" Before she could speak, Lucas' hand swiftly hit her throat. Her breathing was stagnant for a few seconds, then she fell on her knees struggling to take a breath. Her eyes were shaking in panic as she watched his hand getting closer to her. Ignoring the pain, she rolled back and threw ash into the air. As if controlled, the black ash formed a circle around her. Jennifer massaged her neck and looked at him with hatred and a touch of panic.

Even though she was safe now, she didn't know how to get out of this situation. Lucas' body froze for a second, then he continued approaching her. Jennifer had a smirk on her face as she watched him come closer.

"What? Do you actually think that you will pass?" Lucas stopped in front of the circle and reached out. A blue wall appeared, and it made Jennifer smile. But her smile quickly vanished as strong ripples spread across it. His eyes were still glancing at her without wavering. Then a sound traveled through the air as if glass had broken. The blue light vanished, and the mound of ash on the ground flew back, making Jennifer and everyone else gasp in shock.

"You?!" Lucas had had enough of fighting for tonight, so he didn't talk to her anymore. His hand grabbed her neck and lifted her up just like a chicken ready for slaughter. Derek watched this scene with pain in his eyes, but he could only helplessly lie there injured and heartbroken.

"CRACK!" The sound was loud and clear and made some pale in shock as another life was extinguished that night. Now the only question that remained: what would Lucas obtain from a Druid who had gone down the wrong path?
