Chương 126: Order

A few days passed by, while Derek and Scott were clashing with the Alpha Pack, Lucas was thinking of how to end them. Lucas looked at the run-down bank not far away from him and smiled.

"I finally found you." He could hear strong heartbeats coming from inside, and the twins were constantly emitting a signal to him, making their location impossible to hide. When he got closer, he saw a woman standing at the entrance. She was barefoot and looking around vigilantly. Even though he was not far from her, the night seemed to cover his body, making him completely invisible to her. Lucas observed her for a few more minutes, then started walking away.

The fight would happen tonight, but he wouldn't just barge in there. He needed other people to make it easier. •••• Peter walked around the room with his arms crossed and was constantly looking at the clock.

"Those fools! They think they can face the Alpha Pack head-on?!"

"Is it Derek?"

"Who?!" Peter turned around in shock and saw Lucas less than ten meters away from him. His heart jolted in shock. Even though he was weakened after resurrecting, he was still a werewolf. Lucas watched his expression with a smile on his face. There was nothing more enjoyable than seeing the former Big Bad Wolf reduced to a weak werewolf.

"Tell me your worries. Maybe I can help…" Peter rolled his eyes, grumbled, and turned his body away.

"Sure! Go and fight the Alpha Pack! Or are you afraid?" A smirk appeared on his face. Lucas looked around the apartment, paying no attention to his provocation.

"You're sometimes too smart for your own good… it makes me think of just killing you!" Peter's smirk froze as he felt a wave of pressure wash over his body. He then turned around and looked at Lucas with a serious expression.

"Just tell me your motives!" The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident. Lucas walked up to him and glanced into his blue eyes.

"I want you to go with them tonight!"

"Are you crazy too?!" Peter took a few steps back, his face showing obvious rejection.

"Peter…" Lucas stepped closer to him, and his eyes turned silver and gold.

"I don't make requests! I give orders!" His voice turned cold and echoed throughout the room.

"What the fu—" Peter felt as though something was trying to devour his consciousness as he stared into those eyes, and just for a brief moment, he saw a massive beast with red eyes staring back at him. He felt like an ant before that being, one that could be crushed with ease. He lowered his eyes involuntarily and took a few deep breaths.

"Ok… okay!" He gritted his teeth. He wanted to refuse badly, but his instincts were screaming danger. Lucas observed his expression and nodded. Killing was a relief sometimes. There were worse ways someone could be punished, and he didn't want to resort to them unless necessary. You can't tame Peter with friendship. Just like any bad dog, he had to be disciplined. Peter had many uses besides fighting, and his knowledge was one of them.

"Don't worry, I'm not sending you to die." Peter lifted his head and looked at him. From his words, he realized what Lucas meant. Lucas looked at him one last time, then walked away. •••• The fight in the bank had already started, and it was not looking good for Scott and Derek. Deucalion was sitting and watching the fight with an amused look on his face. While Derek was being thrown around by the giant Alpha formed by the two twins, Isaac and Boyd tried holding Ennis back, but with little success.

Just as Boyd tried to slash Ennis with his claws, Ennis ignored Isaac's attack and punched Boyd right in the chest, sending him flying more than five meters.

"Boyd!" Scott exclaimed in shock from the side, but this was a mistake, as his attention shifted for a second, allowing Kali to slash his chest with her claws.

"Arghhh!" Scott groaned as the pain became excruciating. Before Kali could strike again, Cora quickly defended him, but at the cost of almost losing her arm. Cora breathed heavily and looked at her right arm. Blood was spilling onto the floor, and she couldn't even move it anymore. Just as Kali was about to attack again, someone fell from the sky, kicking her directly in the head.

"I hope I'm not too late." Peter wore his usual smug expression and enjoyed Cora's surprised look.

"Why are you here?" Cora didn't seem happy and growled at him. He put a hand on his chest and showed a hurt expression.

"That's what I get for saving my dear niece?" Before he could get an answer, Ennis came out of nowhere and crashed straight into him. While Peter was flying helplessly through the air, he could see Boyd and Isaac lying on the ground, not moving. Just as Kali was about to attack him as well, a voice broke the standoff and made everyone look over.

"What a disappointment…"
