Allison then hugged him tightly for a few minutes.

"What do you think Kate and Dad are doing?" She looked at him with curiosity.

"They must be searching for the Alpha, and for its beta."

"The beta? You mean Scott?" Lucas nodded, then continued talking.

"Yes, this could lead them to the Alpha, or through him make the Alpha come to them."

"Will they kill Scott?" She didn't feel like Scott deserved to be killed. After all, her boyfriend is a shapeshifter too.

"Your father will most likely just try to intimidate him." Allison fell silent. She understood the implication; that means Kate will do more than that.

"When I told you that Gerard shaped Kate in his image, I was not joking." Allison was slightly surprised by this. She then tried hard to recall stuff about him.

"Did my grandfather also do terrible stuff…?"

"Do you remember that I promised that I will tell you about my conversation with your dad in the garage?" She nodded, then gazed at him with a slightly confused expression. Lucas smiled as he observed her reaction, then briefly explained what happened.

"The reason our families don't get along is because of Gerard. My grandfather stopped him from doing something unforgivable. I guess your father doesn't know much about this, just the damage that Gerard took."

"Damage?" Lucas smiled and made a gesture with his fingers.

"Just a little bit of damage." She gazed at him suspiciously, then asked what she was most curious about.

"Just something bad." Without giving her any chance to ask more, he started walking towards her house. Allison could only give him a helpless look. Although she was still curious about what was so bad, that even he didn't want to mention it.

"I forgot to ask, but where's your car?" She looked around curiously, not seeing it even in the distance.

"I gave it to Stiles last night. Let's go tell your father to give us a ride." Allison increased her pace, then looked at him with interest.

"You're really trying to get on his nerves, aren't you?"

"It's justified in your imagination." She shook her head, then went into the house to call her dad. When Chris arrived outside and saw him, his eyebrows raised slightly. Then he got in the car and started the engine. Allison entered the backseat, and Lucas went in the front.

"What are you doing?" Chris gazed at Lucas, who was sitting in a relaxed position. Lucas looked confusingly at him, then at his seat.

"What do you think? Going to school, of course!"

"Pfft." Allison quickly covered her mouth, earning an annoyed look from her dad. Chris took a deep breath, then looked back at Lucas.

"What I meant is: why are you in my car?"

"Mine is unavailable, so don't worry about it." Under Chris's unbelievable expression, Lucas gave him a pat of encouragement. Chris took a deep breath, trying to relax his nerves, then ignored him completely and started driving. When they arrived at school and Chris left, Allison looked at him with a smile.

"You're really enjoying it."

"I don't know what you're talking about." Lucas suppressed his smile, although a corner of his lips was still quivering slightly.

"Hey, Lucas!" A shout shifted their attention; it was Stiles running towards them. When he arrived in front of them, he first took a couple of breaths.

"What's going on?" Lucas and Allison looked at him curiously. Then Stiles explained how last night Peter and Derek tried convincing Scott to join them, and Peter showed Scott what happened during the Hale fire incident.

"Derek's uncle is the Alpha?! But he killed his own niece!" Allison was shocked to hear about Peter.

"The worst part is that Derek's now on his side." Stiles dreaded the thought of going against both of them.

"You and Scott should be more careful of the hunters for now; they are getting more active." Stiles looked at him weirdly, then signaled with his eyes towards Allison. Lucas rolled his eyes at him.

"Besides us… if you are ever on my hunting list, then you could only pray to God."

"You have a list?!" Stiles exclaimed in shock. Lucas could only shake his head, then grabbed his car keys from him and left with Allison. Stiles stared blankly at their backs and could only mutter helplessly:"You still didn't tell me how to deal with Peter…" Allison on the other hand gazed at Lucas curiously.

"Do you really have a hunting list?" Gazing back at her, Lucas grinned in amusement:"What do you think?" Allison put a finger on her lips as she thought deeply for a moment.

"You do!" Lucas only smiled without responding. Allison shook his arm a few times.

"I'm curious, tell me."
