Scott grimaced at the thought of his mother seeing him becoming a monster. Lucas then continued: "If Stiles could figure out what you've become, do you think other people will not be suspicious? Especially after changing so much overnight." When Scott heard this, he immediately thought of Jackson, who is constantly watching him. Stiles, on the other hand, looked hurt by this comment.
"If you're going to play anyway, at least learn how to control it." Scott and Stiles looked at each other, both thinking about Derek.
"Lucas." He turned around and saw Allison arriving. He opened his car, but not before giving Stiles a look. Seeing that it was his car, Stiles smiled awkwardly, remembering how he almost kissed it. After Allison entered, he began driving away. In the car, Allison curiously asked him: "What do you do in your free time?" Lucas thought deeply about this, then realized he only thought about getting stronger and surviving.
He didn't waste much time on other stuff, especially knowing that there are beings out there that could easily kill him. The bad part is that several of them will appear in Beacon Hills. Still not wanting to spoil the mood, he responded to her: "Nothing much besides school, the only more fun activity is taking firearms lessons." When Allison heard this, she leaned forward and curiously asked: "Firearms? Sounds cool…"
He gave her a smile while asking: "Since your dad is in the firearms business, did he teach you how to use them?"
"No, I only learned archery for a couple of years, but I took a break before moving here." If you encounter this story on Amazon, note that it's taken without permission from the author. Report it. Hearing this, he recalled how good she was with the bow.
"Then maybe you could teach me, and if I get good with guns, I will teach you." He knew that although Allison was not yet a hunter, she was leagues ahead of him in skills like archery. Hearing him say that, Allison smiled and replied: "Then it's a promise." By the time they finished talking, they had already arrived at her house. Soon enough, they were in front of the door. Before they could even say something, the door opened. Allison's mom appeared, Victoria Argent.
She looked at Allison, who stiffened a little, then at Lucas and asked: "Who is your friend, sweetie?" While he could see her giving a little smile, he knew that this one's the crazy one in their family; Chris is harmless compared to her. Allison then introduced Lucas with a smile:"Mom, this is Lucas, my classmate. He gave me a lift." Lucas nodded as he greeted her: "Hello, Mrs. Argent, nice to meet you." Victoria nodded as she turned towards her daughter: "Well, let's go in, I just made dinner."
As she wanted to get inside, she looked at Lucas as if she thought of something.
"Bring your friend too, so we'll get to know him." Allison looked at her in surprise, then she turned towards Lucas and said: "Let's go, my parents will not bite." Then she entered the house. Lucas looked at her with a helpless expression on his face as he thought to himself, 'They might not try to bite me, but to shoot me.' Still, he entered. He followed Allison to the dinner table and sat next to her. After a couple of minutes, Victoria entered with the food; soon after her, Chris followed.
As soon as he entered, Chris spotted him. His eyebrow raised as he gave his wife a look; she merely looked back and then ignored him. Lucas nodded at him: "It's nice to see you, Mr. Argent." How nice, only he knew. Chris just nodded at him as he sat down. Lucas, not bothered at all by his attitude, began putting food on his plate. As soon as he filled it, he began eating. Chris's eye twitched at this scene; even his always present smile vanished a little.
Victoria looked at Lucas's relaxed attitude, who already started eating like no one was there. Allison, standing next to him, saw her parents' funny reaction as she desperately tried to hold her laughter. Chris coughed as he asked with a serious face: "Well, how's school going, honey?" Hearing her dad calling her, she suppressed her laughter and responded: "Everything is going fine, except for the fact we have a killer in town, maybe two of them."
When he heard that, Chris frowned as he looked at his wife at almost the same time as her. Seeing the two of them looking at each other, Lucas smiled as he spoke: "I heard from Stiles that the first victim was killed by an animal, well… that's what they think at least." All of them looked at him as he spoke about the case, while Chris was more attentive than usual. Then he continued: "The part I found more disturbing is the fact that the victim was ripped in half; only a deranged person could do such evil."
He added as his friendly smile disappeared and he started gazing coldly at Chris.
