Long Feng's aura was much stronger than before. Just the pressure that gushed out of his body was enough to make peak spirit realm warriors unable to stand. Ao Zhentian glanced at him in surprise.
"Kid, you're not bad. Rank five spirit realm in two days, even if the natural energy is extremely dense, it's still a substantial feat for you." Long Feng retracted his aura completely, showing his extreme control over his energy, then he smiled.
"Thank you for this opportunity Senior." Ao Zhentian waved his hand lazily.
"This is all the time I can give you. Don't worry. The Supreme heaven sect has one of the best heritage in the Mainland. If you stay determined, then you can reach the peak spirit realm within a few months." Long Feng nodded seriously. He stood up and walked out of the pond, his clothes and hair dripping with water.
"It's time to go kid. Make sure you have nothing else in this place. Once you leave, it is unknown when you'll ever be able to return." Ao Zhentian floated down and landed on the mountain peak, standing before Long Feng. Long Feng slowly shook his head.
"I've done pretty much everything. There's nothing left."
"Good. You might want to check out the reward you received after your continent meeting or something. They will be of help to you." Ao Zhentian added casually. Long Feng's eyes widened as he abruptly remembered that he hadn't even checked through the void ring he received after the hundred continent meeting! He hadn't gotten the chance to do so after the meeting as he needed to escape immediately. After that, he fought a few times, then Ao Zhentian appeared and saved him from the deities.
After all that, he had pretty much completely forgotten about the reward. This was perhaps the best time for him to go through the void ring and organize everything. Long Feng took off the bronze void ring from his finger and sent his consciousness into it. The first thing he noticed was that the space was much larger and more stable than that of the void ring he originally owned. The space was still dark, but it was almost the size of a large mansion, which meant it's capacity was naturally much higher.
When Long Feng scanned the space with his soul power, he received a great shock. He almost couldn't believe his eyes and had to go through the ring a few more times to confirm that he wasn't hallucinating.
"T-this…" He muttered blankly. The shock in his heart settled before the disbelief rushed in.
"These are all for me?" He looked up and asked. Ao Zhentian glanced at him weirdly.
"Who else? Why does it seem like everything surprises you?" Long Feng didn't have the words to say I'm reply to that. Within the ring, the things were grouped apart. The first group consisted of fist sized crystals that glowed even in the dark space. Each crystal emanated a dense amount of natural energy that would thwart the quantity and quality of the spirit energy a Spirit Realm warrior possesses. These were all Imperial Crystals without exception!
Long Feng had an Imperial crystal in his void ring which he couldn't absorb previously, so he could recognize the Imperial crystals with a glance. What was really mind blowing was the amount of the Imperial crystals. It must be remembered that a single imperial crystal at the Yi and Hua auction in the Yihua continent cost hundreds of thousands of Spirit crystals! Ten Imperial crystals would cause a bloodbath in the Yihua continent.
Not even the Yihua continent had many Imperial crystals, perhaps not exceeding a hundred at any given time. Yet right here in this ring, Long Feng was staring at what could easily surpass ten thousand Imperial crystals! That was at a single glance. He forcefully calmed down and slowly counted the imperial crystals using his soul power. The result was exactly a hundred thousand Imperial crystals! This book's true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience. A hundred thousand!
Not Yang crystals, not spirit crystals but Imperial crystals! The crystal that could only be absorbed by extremely strong Spirit Realm warriors and Imperial realm masters! Long Feng's mind went blank for a few minutes before be regained his senses and gasped.
"So many crystals! H-how?" Ao Zhentian smiled with some amusement.
"That's just a hundred thousand Imperial crystals. That's barely anything, but for you, it should be enough to cultivate till the peak deity realm normally. Of course, that would take years." Long Feng swallowed and didn't reply. He didn't know what to say. How was he to make Ao Zhentian understand that a single Imperial crystal had caused a crazy bidding war in the Yihua continent? That fifty Imperial crystals would make even the Yihua clan's eyes to turn red with greed?
He took a deep breath and slowly went through the Imperial crystals again. This time though, he noticed something different.
"These don't look like Imperial crystals? And they don't exude any energy at all." He spotted a few oddly shaped stones, in the center of the Imperial crystals. The stones were less than half the size of the Imperial crystals, and at first glance, there didn't seem to be anything out of the ordinary about them. If anything, the stones were coated in a faint glow, but it was nothing compared to the glowing Imperial crystals. Why were they mixed up with the Imperial crystals?
"Oh?" Ao Zhentian looked over. Although he was merely staring at Long Feng's hand, his gaze seemed to penetrate through the bronze ring and peer into the dark space.
"Don't bother about those. You'll know about them soon." Long Feng nodded and moved his focus from the Imperial crystals group to the next, preparing himself to be shocked again. And indeed, he was shocked a second time. The second group consisted of just three weapons; all longswords. What was unique about them? Two of them were peak ranked spirit armaments while the final one was a peak Imperial armament. The spirit armaments alone were surprising.
Long Feng's Origin Spirit Sword was also a Spirit armament, but it was merely a mid ranked armament. It was beneath a high ranked and a peak ranked armament. Then the Imperial armament was shocking. That was just beneath the legendary Mortal grade weapons that could only be used by deities! Obviously, it was impossible for the Overlord continents to give such weapons to the juniors. None of them had the ability to wield such powerful artifacts. But even then, an Imperial armament wasn't a pushover.
Especially a peak ranked one. Those were the strongest weapons beneath the mortal grade weapons, and not even some mid ranked continents would have them. What intrigued him was how exactly the weapons he received were longswords, the exact same weapon he specified in. Was it a coincidence? Very unlikely. His guess was that the weapons were placed at the very end of the competition after they've figured out the speciality of everyone.
In that case, Huang Fang Hao should have gotten a few powerful spears, perhaps even stronger than what Long Feng received as the top genius. Long Feng didn't dwell on that. His heart was filled with some excitement as he imagined the boost he would gain from wielding an Imperial armament. Although it was unlikely that he would be able to use it just yet. His combat power might be extremely great, but his actual cultivation used to be quite low, and it still was.
Rank five spirit realm wasn't anything compared to the Imperial realm cultivation of other geniuses of the continent zone, and even more unworthy of being mentioned compared to monsters like Huang Fang Hao and Lu Jian. Grinning, Long Feng moved on again. The next thing he saw were over a hundred different pill bottles, with names written on the bottles, probably the names of the pills within them. Of course, Long Feng didn't recognize any of them at all.
What he always knew were healing pills; the only pill he had ever seen that wasn't for healing was the spirit cloud pill which he bought at the Yi and Hua auction house. But just from the names of these pills, he could tell that many of them had very different uses. Since he didn't know any of them, then it would be safe for him to not touch any of them just yet until he knew what they were. After a slight hesitation, he decided to ask Ao Zhentian about them.
"Ah. These are quite useful to the current you. There are several bottles of good healing pills. Only a few are useful for cultivation. Some are antidotes to some common poisons and things like that. There are some special ones that have effects on the soul and the Dao comprehension… in short, these pills are what every new comer to the mainland needs. Lots of healing pills, few cultivation pills and lots of antidotes. I'll differentiate them for you."
Ao Zhentian glanced through the void ring and observed the pill bottles as he said. Long Feng thanked him and went through the next section, which was also the last. He already had an inkling as to what he would see. So far he had found Imperial crystals for cultivation, weapons and pills. The only thing missing to become complete was… Martial skills! These four, weapons, resources, pills and martial skills or techniques were among the most important needs of all cultivators.
Each had their own uses in different situations, so no one could precisely say which among them was the best, but in battles, the most important was undoubtedly Martial skills. Weapons were equally important, but they were external strengths. Martial skills on the other hand were something one had to comprehend and make into a part of one's strength. Martial skills therefore tended to be more appreciated than weapons to some extent, especially powerful skills.
Of course, powerful weapons were equally wanted everywhere. Indeed, the final section contained several jades. Long Feng knew without being told that these were definitely martial skills, and since they came from the Overlord continents, then they were certainly anything but ordinary.
"There are exactly twelve jades. Let me go through them." Long Feng hurriedly began to scan through the general details of each jade. The first jade contained a mid grade Imperial skill, Rock piercing strike. That alone surpassed everything he had excluding the Firmament Sword Art! The highest martial skill he had was the heaven ripping finger, and it was a peak spirit skill. The second, third and fourth jades also contained mid grade Imperial skills. But the fifth one was a high grade Imperial skill!
Long Feng's heart pounded quickly as he went through the sixth, seventh and eighth jades. They were all extremely powerful high grade Imperial skills just from their description! Each of them would become the sect guarding skill of any force in the Yihua continent, including the Yihua clan itself, but Long Feng had several of them! The ninth jade shocking contained a peak Imperial grade skill called the Raindrop sword skill.
This was a skill that had slightly exceeded the Imperial realm and had begun to touch upon the night of the mysteries of a low grade mortal Dao skill! The tenth jade was also a peak Imperial skill as well. Almost all of them were sword skills which further enforced Long Feng's guess that the skills and weapons were placed at the last minute based on every geniuses' abilities. Long Feng's attention was focused on the final two jades as his heartbeat sped uncontrollably.
The grades of the skills had been slowly increasing from the mid grade to the peak grade. Judging by that progression… at least one of these two remaining jades should be a true Dao skill right? Even if it was merely a low grade mortal Dao skill, it was enough to cause a bloodshed if released in any low ranked continent and even mid ranked continents. Even for high ranked continents, Dao skills were reserved only for deities and above; not even Imperials could touch them without having some substantial achievement.
If Long Feng really received a Dao skill, then he would completely focus on trying to comprehend even a portion of it, abandoning everything else but the Firmament Sword Art. After all, no matter what, the Firmament Sword Art should at least surpass a low grade mortal Dao skill by far, and he had still comprehended a tiny portion of it. A low grade mortal Dao skill shouldn't be too hard. He finally went through the final two jades at once, and his heart froze for a few seconds.
Shock was an understatement to describe his emotions. What he found in the last two jades weren't low grade mortal Dao skills as he expected, but… they were better than he imagined. Both of them were low grade mortal cultivation manuals, the Wind sword manual and the Thunder crest Incantation! These were two cultivation manuals! Real manuals that were required to break through to the deity realm! Long Feng's mouth wouldn't close as he stared at these two jades, not knowing what to do.
