As I followed Nao, we came near the edge of the continent after a day. It appeared the invaders had made a base camp near the water to prepare to invade. The foreigners were a lot bigger than people on the Human Continent and had a strange style of clothing. I had seen some of them before but could never talk with them as they spoke a different language. The force of foreigners this time was quite large, as they had hundreds of people here ready to invade, not to mention all the weapons they had hanging around.
There was no doubt they were hostile. I couldn't let them roam free, so I needed to deal with them quickly. The strongest among them was a level 1042, which made sense as to why Nao wasn't able to fight against them alone. For me, though, this was not a problem, as they were too weak for me. Since they weren't as big of a threat as I originally thought, I went to face them without planning, as there was no need to.
As I approached to end this quickly, some of the invaders from their camp ran out as soon as they saw me trying to say something. Whatever they were saying wasn't exactly kind as they pointed their weapons at me. Since I didn't understand, I didn't bother even trying and attacked directly, killing the people who were trying to confront me. The people in the camp saw that I was dangerous and came out to intercept me.
As I was prepared to fight, a blonde-haired woman came forward that seemed to speak the same language as me. The blonde-haired woman asked, "Why are you attacking us? We are from the Magical Continent, from the Pagon Empire, and are here to spread the faith of our god Pagon. There is no need to become enemies as long as you convert to the Pagon faith and offer your land." I couldn't believe how entitled this woman was. I didn't know who they were, but to expect me to give up so easily and convert was absurd.
I replied, "I refuse to join your faith and will say the same to you. Leave right now or die." The blonde woman's face then turned ugly as she translated my words. It seemed she wanted to end it quickly, but it didn't work, so she was discussing the next course of action. The group of invaders, hearing my words, immediately became hostile as they prepared to attack again. The blonde woman asked again, "Surrender now, or we will use force to make you obey.
We in the Pagon faith are very welcoming as long as you join. We have already expanded to become the major faith on the Magical Continent, and it won't be long before we expand here." I yelled, "Get out of here. We don't want to follow your religion." The group, despite the language gap, seemed to understand my words and no longer held back. The group came forward on the command of the strongest invader, and a fight was inevitable. I was very hostile with the invaders due to what their people did in the past.
They pillaged and killed when they first came, and I don't trust them. So, when they attacked me, I didn't have any hesitation in killing them. These kinds of people only cared about their goals and nothing else. With an easy slash of my sword, I killed dozens of them at once and continued to slaughter this group of invaders. Seeing my power, the invaders immediately felt some fear but nevertheless continued their assault. This story originates from a different website.

After only a little bit of time, I had slaughtered everyone other than the blonde woman and the strong person who was commanding the group. I intended to capture these two for questioning, as there was finally someone who could translate the language. As I had killed everyone so easily, the woman and the leader were both surprised by what had happened. Still, the man felt confident and tried his best to attack me too.
This, though, was still easy to deal with, as after a punch, the man fell down unconscious. The woman, seeing that she was the only one left, kneeled down on the ground in surrender, as there was nothing she could do. I then captured and restrained the two to take back for questioning, as I was curious about what exactly their motive is for constantly coming to the Human Continent. I then ordered Nao to keep watching over this place in case there were invaders.
She nodded as she understood, and I left to take care of business with my captives. After another day, we arrived back at the Kingdom of Equality, and I had brought the two invaders to somewhere private to investigate them. I then asked the blonde-haired woman, "Are you really here on the Human Continent just to spread your faith?" The blonde-haired woman replied, "We really are here to spread the faith of Pagon. We believe our faith is the superior God and want the whole world to follow Pagon.
We have already taken other lands, and this place is the only one left." I then asked, "Why have you chosen now to come and invade us in such a large force?" The blonde-haired woman answered, "We have sent scouts to inquire about the situation on this continent, and it seems you people have been weakened severely by internal strife. We wanted to take the chance to expand our religion while we had the best opportunity to."
It seems I was right, and they really did come here since so many powerful people have died recently. They wanted to take advantage while the continent was unstable to expand upon this land. I now had all the answers I was curious about and wondered what to do with the two invaders, as there wasn't much left to use them for. As I was wondering on how to handle it, the man woke up and looked around, trying to take in his surroundings. The man, seeing me, started yelling something I couldn't understand.
The blonde-haired woman started to translate, "He is saying that we are just a scout team and defeating us does nothing. Soon, more people will come after finding out we didn't come back. By then, you will suffer the consequences for killing us." It seemed there was going to be a larger group of invaders soon. This was quite annoying, as these people just keep coming to invade to try to expand their religion. I asked, "When will they be coming?"
The blonde-haired woman hesitated before speaking, "They will arrive in a year. The trip here is long, so it will take half a year for them to realize we are gone before sending forces here to invade." It seems I didn't have that much time before they invaded again. Considering the size of just the scouts, it seems the next group will be very large. I inquired further, "How big will the next group you send be?"
The blonde-haired woman replied, "Since we have spent several years without any success in spreading our faith on this continent, the current emperor of the Pagon Kingdom has become very impatient. The next time will be a large force of elites of our kingdom to settle everything once and for all." I tried asking for more details, "If this group fails to win, will they invade again after that?" The blonde-haired woman elaborated, "If even this force fails, then we will take a massive hit to the empire's power.
This will cause the emperor to scale back for a while to replan the invasion, but one day he will try again." It seems this emperor was very persistent and won't stop no matter what. Since this was the case, once the foreign invasion was dealt with, I will pay a visit to him personally. After asking for a few more details, I got the blonde-haired woman to give me a map to know how to get there so I can deal with the emperor personally once I had the time.
I then studied the map, as I was curious about how the world looked since I never explored outside. From the map, it seems this world has two large continents and a few small ones. One was the Human Continent, and the other was the Magic Continent. The Magic Continent has a huge amount of land, as they have taken everything around them and only have the Human and Demonic continents left to take over.
Since this was the case, it made sense why they wanted to finish their conquest and come here to fully spread their religion. I, of course, wouldn't allow that, as this continent didn't believe in this religion, which will cause friction between the two continents. Once that happens, there will be a lot of fighting and death. The only course of action to prevent that was to kill them all before they could expand further inland. Since that was the case, I had to prepare to intercept them when they came in a year.
After finishing my thoughts, I went to find Sophia, Maria, Claire and Shiro to explain the situation.
