As Sophia and I followed Shiro to where the weapon was, she started explaining the details of it. Shiro explained, "Even though this weapon is very outdated in my world, it is very strong in this world. I tried recreating a nuclear bomb using the materials in this world, but it was quite difficult. The power of this bomb is probably going to be much weaker by several magnitudes than a typical one, but it's still quite strong." I then asked, "Have you tested it?" Shiro elaborated, "Of course I haven't tested it.
If I did, it would alert far too many people that we have this weapon. I would rather save it as a surprise, but don't worry, with my technological expertise, failing is impossible." Sophia then interjected, "I know you asked Shiro to do something, but what exactly is this nuclear bomb? The two of you have never explained what it is." I started to explain, "This weapon is basically a force of nature. It is strong enough to change the landscape of an entire mountain, turning it into a wasteland.
Though, considering Shiro said it's weaker than usual, I don't know how strong it is." Sophia, shocked, asked, "Is it as powerful as when the goddess Trisha attacked?" Shiro replied, "It is comparable, but my current version is probably only half as strong. Though, I believe it can at least heavily injure that apostle, if not kill him. Right now, I have two built, as that's all the material I have. With these two, it should roughly equate to the same power as the goddess Trisha."
Sophia was then amazed by the fact that a weapon could be comparable to a god. As we entered the room where the nuclear bomb was, I was amazed at the sight. I had never seen it in person and had only heard about it or seen it online. Now that it was in front of me, I couldn't help but be amazed. Sophia, who was beside me, was also amazed, though she wasn't sure what she was seeing. Shiro then went to the computer she had built and quickly started to prepare the bomb for launch.
After a couple of minutes, Shiro said, "It is ready to be used. I just need to wait a little while for the defensive measures I set up to deploy so that we can avoid the explosion and radiation, since the apostle is so close." I then said, "How about I lure the apostle a little further away?" Shiro replied, "Don't worry, I'll just fire it a little further away, so we don't enter the blast radius. I also set up several ways to block the radiation, so we don't have to worry about it."
As I was still skeptical, Shiro continued to finish her preparations. After several more minutes, Shiro asked, "I'm completely ready now. Do you want me to fire it now?" I hesitated for a moment, as this was an actual nuclear bomb, and this kind of power was now going to be fired under my command. This situation was quite nerve-racking. After thinking it through, I gave the order, "Fire it now!" In the next moment, the first nuclear bomb launched from its pedestal with a loud explosion sound.
It then flew quickly into the sky. As I watched it disappear into the sky, it hit me just how real the situation was. A nuclear bomb in a fantasy world just how weird could things get? I wanted this to happen, but when it actually occurred, I couldn't help but be stunned. After a couple of seconds of waiting, I heard a loud explosion far away. A blinding light then shot out, which was visible high up in the sky. The power of a nuclear bomb was simply breathtaking.

"No, that guy somehow survived that bomb. On the bright side though he is heavily injured and is bleeding everywhere on his body. This man is so durable to survive something like this. Shall I shoot off the second one?" I then asked, "Just how injured is he? Does he look like he can still put up a fight?" Shiro looked closely.
"That man is still able to move. Though I say move is kind of an exaggeration, as he is crawling to try and escape." I then said, "Then there's no need to fire a second one. If the radiation doesn't kill him, I will go kill him personally. Just keep watch over him to make sure he doesn't escape." Shiro understood and said, "You can go back to what you two were doing. I will keep watch to make sure he doesn't escape." I nodded, and taking Sophia, we both left to continue our tasks before the apostle of god arrived.
After an entire day of waiting, as I wondered what that apostle of god was doing now, Shiro finally came to report. Shiro reported, "That apostle of god is very persistent and has exited the blast zone. If we don't do anything now, he might escape. You can now go and kill him personally, now that he is outside the zone of radiation." I was stunned by how the apostle of god still wasn't dead yet. He was already heavily injured to begin with, yet he managed to move so far away after just a day.
I said to Shiro, "Then let's set off to meet that apostle of god." The two of us then departed, as we wanted to finish off the apostle of god. Soon after, we arrived where Shiro said the apostle of god was heading to. The wait after arriving wasn't long as the apostle of god appeared, still heavily injured. Shiro then noted in amazement, "What did this apostle of god do? The last time I saw him, he was far more injured than now. How did he heal so fast?" I then asked, "What do you mean? How injured was he before?"
Shiro replied, "When I was still watching him before, the apostle of god was barely crawling. Now he is standing up on both his feet, capable of limping." As Shiro was explaining her amazing discovery, the apostle of god saw the both of us. The apostle of god asked, "Were you the ones that sent such a monstrous thing on me? You two are so despicable! You would rather use such an underhanded way to injure me instead of fighting me in person." I then replied, "I don't care about a fair fight.
I just need to kill you to prevent future trouble." The apostle of god then looked at me with disgust, as I lacked enough pride to fight him fairly in person. As the apostle of god was still lost in his thoughts, I took the opportunity to look at his level. This person was at level 4200, way above my current level. This just goes to show just how strong an apostle of god was. I then wondered if I would have been able to defeat such a high-level person if I used normal means.
I quickly put that thought aside, figuring that since I had the means, why not use it? I then took out my sword, intending to finish off this already injured apostle of god. Noticing I was no longer in the mood to talk, the apostle of god said hurriedly, "Even if you kill me, don't think this is the end. There will be several more apostles of god that will come for you. They will avenge me sooner or later." I didn't care, as I would fight them as they came.
As the apostle of god was still trying to say more, I slashed down on him, ending the man's life. My system then showed a new notification: Level Up: 4020 I had leveled up so much just by killing one apostle of god. This made me more expectant of more apostles of god coming. If they come, I can farm them for experience points. Getting close to the power of a god might no longer just be a pipe dream.
As I was still immersed in the feeling of leveling up, Shiro started expressing her congratulations on my increase in level. I then snapped out of the nice feeling of leveling up and said, "Since we are done now, let's go back. This time showed that nuclear bombs are very effective. Make sure to make more in case more apostles of god come and cause trouble." Shiro replied, "I was already doing so before you told me. Currently, I found a great place for materials that just needs to be harvested.
From my estimates, once I collect the materials, I can make at least two more nuclear bombs." I then replied, "If we only have so many, then we should start saving them in the future in case of emergencies." Shiro then felt down at not being able to use her new weapons. I tried cheering her up, "You will still get opportunities to use them in the future. Just let me deal with the weaker apostles of god, and it will be your turn if there's someone I can't face."
Shiro then brightened up slightly as I gave her such an important role: eliminating the stronger apostles of god. As she was no longer as gloomy, we started to head back to the kingdom. The death of this apostle of god made me no longer afraid of the other apostles of god that were to come. We now had the means to kill them. I then had a smile appear on my face as my fear had now dissipated into nothing.
