Chương 53: Volume 2: Chapter 14 - Shinika, a fatal weapon against Robert

Thanks to the school's sufficiently large open space, the entire sports field was divided into six areas for learning various teaching contents, and they were also spaced far enough apart to ensure safety.

"I am the teacher who teaches Fire Magic, my name is Luciel Engelmanner…" While listening to a young female teacher introduce herself to the new students, I observed the students who came here with me. It was clear that the practical skills class was for all four classes, A, B, C, and D, together. There were many students from other classes whom I didn't know. The total number of people was about twenty, more than I expected. Ah, that boy named Rankdor is also here.

He seemed to notice me too, his face pale, not daring to meet my gaze. How interesting. He'll probably run to the swordsmanship class next time, won't he? Should I follow him too? Maybe it'll give a more interesting reaction. Just as I was thinking about such mischief, a figure stood beside me, and very close. Naturally, my guard was fully up at such a sudden closeness.

"Eh? Shinika...?" As I clearly saw who it was, my heart suddenly trembled. One of the heroines' sudden contact.

"Hello, Robert. This is our first time speaking, isn't it? I didn't expect you to remember my name."

"Same to you, I suppose. We're both children of great noble families; it's hard not to be remembered."

"That's true."

"By the way, Shinika, why are you here? Your magic attribute is Wind Magic; you shouldn't be here to learn Fire Magic."

"Oh? My magic test results should be unreleased, and I haven't publicly used Wind Magic. How does Robert know my magic attribute is Wind Magic?" Damn it! Because I learned it in the novel, I subconsciously treated it as common knowledge!

"I heard it from someone else. The Arnold family is so famous, it's not strange to know your magic attribute, is it?"

"But my family and the Anglus Family don't have any dealings. Who exactly did you hear it from?" Ah, this is probably a dead end where one lie leads to a bigger lie to cover it up.

"I heard it from a noble who visited our house before. I forgot who it was specifically." See me trying to bluff my way through.

"... Forget it, that's not important. I just came here because I saw you and wanted to confirm something." You might be reading a pirated copy. Look for the official release to support the author.

"Confirm something?" Ah, now that she mentions it, I pretty much understand. She's probably like Princess Yumina, suspecting that I got into Class A through the back door. After all, Shinika is also from a Marquis Family but was assigned to Class B, so it's only natural for her to question me.

"On the day of the entrance exam, you relied on pure strength to push through, didn't you? Although I only saw a vague shadow, I am now certain that the rumours are totally wrong, you didn't use magic at all. You deliberately blew up that dust too."

"..." Huh? So it wasn't about that?

"Looking at you, do you think you disguised yourself well? The new students might not be able tell because they don't have the strength but not all of them are like that, you know what I mean?" In other words, a Martial Arts expert like Shinika could see my movements. No, it was probably the stomp on the ground that gave me away. I thought no one among the new students would be able to tell. But it turns out I was wrong.

"It's... it's your imagination, isn't it? How could human body reach such an exaggerated level. No normal human can do that. You must have seen it wrongly." However, I still had to insist on denying it. If I admitted it now, things would get very troublesome. I had to avoid it if I could.

"You just won't admit it, will you? Alright, I have other ways. A body that has been trained for a long time will betray your brain. You will soon have no choice but to admit this." Could it be that she wants to suddenly attack me to test my physical reflexes? Let her come, then. When that happens, I'll completely play the victim and complain to the teacher that this woman unilaterally inflicted violence on me. Shinika seemed to smile, showing no signs of making a big move. What was she planning to do?

Then, without warning, she… grabbed my hand.

"There are obvious calluses on your palm, which prove they are marks left by long-term sword practice." Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh~ Wh-wh-whh-what at is this women doing?! Does she have no shame. I almost jumped up in fright. Shinika meticulously and gently rubbed my palm with her slender fingers. This strong skin-to-skin contact spread through my entire body like an electric shock.

"And then…" Next, Shinika gently held my right forearm with both hands and stroked it back and forth as she did just now.

"Clearly trained biceps, which are a bit too developed for a 12-year-old boy. This should also be evidence of long-term arm training." Stop it, ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ahhhhhhhh! I can't endure this kind of mental attack!! Ask me anything, and I'll confess! I'll confess everything!

"And then…" While my brain was already in a state of shutdown, Shinika went behind me and extended both hands, clearly intending to embrace me. Does this person have absolutely no sense of personal space between genders?! Someone save me, seriously!! If this continues then I, I, I, I....

"Ahem!" Suddenly, a third party's warning sound came, which finally made Shinika stop her actions. At the same time, I also came back to my senses and realized that Teacher Luciel and the other students were looking at us in surprise.

"You two are having a lot of fun, but we're in class right now." Of course, the most angry person now was undoubtedly Teacher Luciel. If this were a comic, she would definitely have that angry mark made of four crescent moons above her head.

"I'm, I'm sorry…"

"Honestly, these kids nowadays…" Although we weren't in the kind of relationship she imagined, there was nothing I could do if people thought we were that intimate. What kind of shameful play is this? It's even more shameful than the entrance exam day!

"Forget it, let's leave it at that for today. We'll talk about this next time." As for Shinika, the culprit, she acted as if nothing had happened. After saying this to me, she elegantly left. I completely forgot that Shinika's character setting is 'natural' (innocent/airhead). Because I had never encountered such a person before, only when I truly met one did I realize how terrifying such people are.

Because she didn't overthink things at all, and definitely had no romantic intentions towards me, yet she could still casually make gestures that crossed the line between genders, which made the nature of it even worse. They say that 'natural' girls are a great weapon against virgins, and at this moment, I truly understood it. From now on, I absolutely don't want to have anything to do with her, this hateful woman.
