Chương 36: Robert's Changes(Part ll)

Clang! Clang! Clang! Swords collided, sparks flew. My hands felt numb but as the fight continued, I seemed to enter a strange state. I could see every attack of Master Belius as if it were in slow motion, my mind could analyse his attacks quickly and break them down, allowing me to block the attacks, even at the trickiest angle. But even if I could see it, my body could barely react to it thanks to my strong neural networks.

This in coordination between the body and mind, made me unable to completely respond to Master Belius. But it also provided me with the path for my next training. As expected, Master Belius had a similar thought and he focused on close combat training to allow me to adapt to my strong dynamic vision. But he also gave me the assignment of Swinging Sword in Morning, along with close combat drills and body coordination training.

Strange incidents like being stabbed by the wooden knife, suddenly given a hand chop on his head, suddenly blindfolded, suddenly knocked to the ground, etc. Master Belius was truly ruthless in his training, beating me repeatedly. Lia and Aisha often protested and hated Master Belius for his sneak attacks, calling him unethical. Whenever it happened, Master Belius looked extremely wronged and pitiful in my eyes.

But despite the strange twists and turns, his training solved my Body Coordination allowing me to be able to keep up to with him. Such immense change in myself, made me extremely grateful to Master Belius because he never held back in his teaching and solved every doubt. Unfortunately, good things always come to an end and today was the day of the end. Master Belius was about to leave. But suddenly...

"One month."

"I will come back in one month, so before then, train well by yourself and let me see how much you can improve." The words sounded like thunder in my ears making me stunned. I had never thought that my training with Master Belius could continue because the agreement only lasted for 3 days. Marquis Bahod wouldn't support any further study. But Master Belius's next words confirmed my doubts. In one month, he will come back to test my progress. If it matches his expectations, he is willing to be a teacher.

Did you know this text is from a different site? Read the official version to support the creator. One Month.... How far can I progress in one month if I am serious... I didn't know but now I had a strong desire to understand my limit. Thus, I began my training after Master Belius left...... Morning sun shown through the horizon and tiny Elemental Spirits floated around, buzzing with strange noise.

As the Elemental Spirits gathered, Magic Energy swirled around and entered my body, which was then refined into pure Magic essence increasing the quantity and quality of Magic. [Magic +0. 00005] [Magic EXP + 0. 00005] [Physique +0. 00002] [Magic +0. 00005] [Magic EXP + 0. 00005] [Physique +0. 00001]"..." I opened my and exhaled a breath of white mist, gently brushing my fingers against the tiny Elemental Spirits.

"Thank you for your help. It's thanks to you guys that I have made such quick progress."

"#@#₹#&$¥¢§..."

"€¥©®$§∆¥#@&..." Their language was still as strange as I first saw them. But it didn't bother me. I could feel their joy as our Magic Power intertwined. Every Morning training Magic and Martial Arts had already become a routine. Communicating with the Elemental Spirits was a part of this routine. Unlike many worlds where Martial Arts and Magic are separate systems with two different energies, this world is different. The fundamental energy supporting both of them is the same, which is Magic Power.

Magic aims to direct the Magic Power through the Elemental Spirits, purify them into Magic Essence then absorb them into the body and store them into the soul after freely circulating it throughout the body. In this process, a small part of Magic will be left out to increase the strength of body.

Martial Arts on the other hand aims to absorb the Magic Power into the body and mix it with flesh and blood, directly incorporating the Magic Power into every drop of blood and every single cell in the body, in order to achieve comprehensive strengthening and evolution of the body. In the process, every drop of blood contains high concentration of Magic Power and a Martial Artist can mobilize this Magic Power to strength the body and attack from distance.

One aims to strengthen the Soul and other aims to strengthen the body. Both processes also strengthen each other even if only by a small amount.

"Little guys, I am going to train Swordsmanship. I will see you later." Ever since Master Belius left, I had already planned a Hellish training plan to become stronger. Early Morning — Magic Refining and Martial Arts Cultivation Morning to Moon — Swordsmanship x20, 000 swing, Sit Ups x100, Pull ups x100, Squats x100, Planks (until the arms feel numb.), Curls, etc. Any and all Excercise I knew from the past life was now used to train my body.

Evening — Learning Magic spells, Magic theory and teaching Aisha and Lia Swordsmanship and engaging in Combat drills. Night — Meditation, Magic Refining and Martial Arts Cultivation The entire day was divided into parts and for a month. I trained myself to the absolute limit, with more serious attitude than my College Entrance Exam. The result of it was reflected on my Attributes. [Name: Robert von Anglus (???) Species: Human(???)
