Chương 42: Volume 2: Chapter 3 - Royal Academy (Part ll)

Imperial Capital of Antasia Empire, This was a city situated at the very heartland of the Empire, serving as its political, cultural, and administrative center, full of mystic atmosphere of Western Fantasy World. I could see the towering walls and magic towers surrounding the city, like protective monolith from afar. It looked like something from the myth.

Once we entered the city, magnificent buildings, winding canals, elegant bridges, grand churches, and spacious plazas, came into view and pedestrians could be scene everywhere. Elves, Humans, Beastmen, Merchant Caravans, Adventurers, etc. Everything that a fantasy world should have, was present in this city. Everything I saw completely fit the standards of a western fantasy world in animes and novels. I really wanted to go down and explore this city and see the wonders of the isekai world.

Unfortunately, I didn't have the time. After entering the Imperial Capital, I was directly taken to the Royal Academy, which was famous throughout the empire. Getting off the carriage with my luggage, I arrived at the school gate, where there were already dedicated staff receiving new students. Following the rumored procedure, I handed the admission application letter written by Marquis Bahod to a teacher at the Gate.

"From the Anglus Family… Young Master Robert, please come in. Someone inside will first take you to your designated dormitory."

"Please put down your luggage and rest well for a day. Tomorrow's arrangements will be explained to you personally when the time comes."

"Oh, thank you." Having just arrived at an unfamiliar place, it seemed the school had thoughtful guidance for new students, which temporarily put my mind at ease. However, the teacher in front of me seemed a bit surprised after I thanked him. Was it really so unbelievable for a child of a great noble to say thank you? I didn't know what was best to do.

"By the way, Master Robert, are you alone?"

"Hmm? Ah, yes, it's just me. Is there a problem?" The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

"Ah, no, no problem." From the male teacher's attitude, it was clear that my being alone was quite unusual, so I observed the other noble children of similar age around me. So that's how it was; new students usually came accompanied by their personal servants. My being alone indeed made me stand out a bit. But there was nothing I could do about it. Marquis Bahod had already told me that he wouldn't arrange a personal servant for me anymore, and all future minor chores would have to be handled by me alone.

"The dormitory where Master Robert will be staying is straight to the right after entering the main gate."

"I understand." I can only say it lives up to being a school in another world; it probably covers a larger area than any university I know in the real world. The main thing is that the entire school is divided into two areas: a Junior Highschool and a High School with three years of study in each. To give a real-world example, it's like combining three years of middle school and three years of high school into one.

Each area also includes teaching zones, dining areas, magic training areas, examination halls, dormitory areas, various recreational facilities, etc. The architectural style resembles modern European, and I've seen similar buildings in the real world, which suddenly gave me a sense of familiarity as a modern person. The one he is going to attend is the Royal Junior Highschool.

Having lived like a caged bird in the Anglus Family for nearly 7 years, I was excited to witness the vastness of the world for the first time.

"Please come in, this will be your room from now on." A man led me to one of the dormitory rooms, and its decor and size made me feel as if I had entered a five-star hotel.

"Such a big place, are there other roommates?"

"No, you will be staying alone." I'm staying alone? This is too exaggerated. No, for the school, treating the children of great nobles as VIPs should be taken for granted. But without roommates, I naturally wouldn't be able to make new friends, but the only benefit was that I wouldn't disturb others when practicing my sword and magic. In any case, I first lay on the bed to test its comfort. It was even more luxurious than the bed at my home, so it seemed I would need some time to adjust.

"System, open Attribute Panel..." [Name: Robert von Anglus (???) Species: Human(???) Clearly, it hasn't been wasted.

Not only did I learn Light and Thunder Magic but all my attributes have broken through a 70 and my Swordsmanship has broken through D level and I also learned other Martial Arts from Master Belius in spare time. If there is a pity then it's only about Rank. Rank has been locked. Even system cannot do anything about it, only showing a message about Baptism. It's so frustrating, damn it! Fortunately, Royal School gives Baptism to students for free which solves the problem.

I only hope the next day will come soon and I can enroll into the school....
