Ren's pov The condo was too quiet. That realization reached me approximately thirty seconds after I closed the front door behind us. "What happened earlier?"

"Nothing," Ria answered with terrifying speed, already ushering Hikari toward her seat before the interrogation could develop. I opened the opposite rear door and gestured toward Karin and Ruri.
