" Do you have everything?" I was asked to double check my bag again by Sarah. It made sense, she and Anna had also written responding letters to their mail after all. Sarah's letters were from her family as well as Trish, Asha and Sharon. Anna had a letter by Asha, Sharon, Cynthia, Trish, Aqua and her Mother. I was going to ask Warrick to handle our return letters as well as give Sarah and Anna's letters to the people who were still at the Royal Palace when I arrived.

After confirming they were all there, I looked back up at both of my Wives and gave a firm nod. Their shoulders unwound and they both broke into a smile." Okay! Tell them I can't wait to visit!"" Tell Ms. Aqua and Ms. Tina that I'm doing well!"" Understood!" I saluted them like a solider and then contacted Paula. After confirming that she was fine with opening the Portal, a burst of black light came from beside me. After Paula greeted my Wives, she began to open the Portal. I walked through without hesitation."

It's about time, John!" I was greeted by a very excited Aqua. I looked around the room to see Warrick, Trish and Zack. I looked back at Aqua and apologized." Sorry, but Sarah and Anna wanted me to double check everything... Then double check again. Eventually, they let me go." I took out the letters and handed the corresponding ones to the people in the room. I then placed the rest on Warrick's desk. I sat down on one of the chairs in front of the desk. I then looked at Zack and began to speak."

Did you get a chance to try the vegetables?" Zack's face twitched and then he began to answer me excitedly." Yes! We did! We had the beets last night with our meat dish! It was great! My Wife also mentioned that the pickles were just how she liked them!" I smiled at him." That's great. Let me know when you need a refill, you might have to tell Warrick before I report to him." Zack nodded his head to my words. I'm glad he and his wife enjoyed the food." Vegetables?" Warrick muttered in confusion.

I guess Zack hasn't reported anything from his journey yet. It's not that big of an issue. I explained about the vegetables I gave to Zack for his wife." What about us, John?" Aqua spoke, a little disappointed." I can bring you some next time I come over, but I think you'll be more interested in what I'm going to start making."" And what might that be?" Aqua asked, curious about what I meant. I explained about my vegetable farming in cooperation with Lily."

Well, with that explained, I think I need to explain what's happened at Paradise since my last report. Get ready for this." Everyone's attention gathered around me. I started by speaking about Dartz. Once I finished the report on him, Warrick spoke." Ah yes. Count Fracks... Why would he invite someone from so far away? It'll take a month to travel to Zana from Paradise?"" Zana?" The only bit of identification I have is that the girl I fought used swords made of light to attack me. Any idea what Job does that?" Everyone shrugged their shoulders."

That Magic is uncommon to Humans and Demons, but its commonplace among Elves. It's like asking about a Demon that uses a melee weapon of some kind." Aqua filled me in on why everyone had no answer for me." Great." I sighed. I then began to ask a question I was thinking about since fighting those Elves." Have there been any sightings of Dark Elves around Diablos?"" No. Most Dark Elves only come out from the Southern Forests to barter and sell items they acquire through hunting and scavenging.

The Southern Forests have pretty dangerous Monsters living there. Their materials are worth a good amount of coin."" How big of a difference is there between Dark Elves and Elves?" I asked another question I had been wondering about. Aqua leaned forward and answered my question." To put it plainly... Not much. The only real difference is the skin color. It's believed by the Elves that Dark Elves are a Cursed Tribe and are Servants of the Dark Gods.

But in all honesty, it seems that they just have some kind of mutation that causes their skin to darken."" How different are the cultures?"" Besides interacting with Demons and having a scathing hatred for Elves. Not much. Very spiritual, very elegant. For the most part." I nodded my head to Aqua's words." I'll put out a notice to the Military to watch for any suspicious looking travelers. To think an Elf would pose as a Dark Elf... Something smells extremely fishy. Like Peter all over again.""

The only thing we know for sure is that for some reason, Peter stopped visiting his parents in the countryside around 6 months before Cursing Sarah. His parents sent letters to know why, and they received nothing as a reply."" That really isn't anything to go on." Now everyone sighed in unison." Well, I guess fighting a Wyvern is easier than tracking down criminals."" You fought a Wyvern?" Aqua asked me." Yeah, and I met a God.""

Wait, the Wyvern was a God?"" No. The Wyvern's dead. I met the God after killing the Wyvern."" So, you had to kill a Wyvern to meet a God?"" No, fighting the Wyvern woke up the God. After we killed the Wyvern, she kind of... Kidnapped me."" Was the God mad you killed the Wyvern?"" No. She didn't seem to care about the Wyvern. Once I started talking to her though, she told me a few things. Like the fact she was the one responsible for turning the Rose Swamps into what they were."

After the back and forth with Aqua, I finished explaining about the Water Goddess." So, you turned the Rose Swamps into the Rose Mountains?"" I've taken to calling it the Roselands. Makes more sense since the mountains are so far away."" I guess that works too. Do you want me to make the name change official?" Warrick asked innocently." No. Not yet. I have a few plans moving forward. I'd prefer if everyone thinks that the Rose Swamps are still struggling."" And what are these plans?"

I then explained about the plants that popped up and about how I plan on using milk to create unique products."" You say this is the best dessert ever in your world?"" It is to me, but I'm sure some people prefer cakes or pies. I'll be able to make unique pies and cakes in time as well, but I really want to make ice cream first."" Why?" Aqua asked. I think she seems a little sad that I'm not making cakes and pies first." Well, I really like ice cream.

Besides, I'll probably be able to devote a team to follow my notes in order to make things like pies and cakes. Once I have everything figured out though.... The world is probably going to change. And more importantly..."" Paradise will become an economic powerhouse and a must-visit town." Warrick finished my phrase. I nodded my head to his words." But then, John! I plan on making you guys the 3rd group of people to test ice cream out." The 3rd!?" Aqua was sad. I decided to explain my reasoning." The 1st will be Sarah and Anna. They're my Wives and have backed my plans since the beginning. Next is the team who will help me create the products. Then I'll bring the good news here, along with Sarah and Anna hopefully, if my Tempering goes well."" "Pasteurizing is heating a certain food or liquid to a certain temperature for a certain amount of time. In my world they used machines to do it and it was automated, like taking a breath is for us. All I really need to do is figure out the temperature and how long. Then I have product 1. Product 2, which is ice cream, will just take chilling a large batch of unhomogenized milk. which can happen without having to pasteurize the milk. Product 3 will be made with the help of Lily.

I'll just have to test what's the best acid to add really. Hopefully, I can make the 3 different cheeses I have in mind, but that'll have to take multiple tests and months to see if I was right. Before that's done, I can start looking at other things as well."" You really have this all figured out."" The blueprints are there at least."
