Sharon Ashblade's Point of View Today was finally the day. I had made the preparations last week, the week that Sarah, Anna and John spent their honeymoon together. I would be heading home today in the afternoon. I was relaxing on a balcony, overlooking the city, I was with Sarah, Asha, Cynthia and Anna. We all wanted to spend the rest of our time together. We were simply enjoying each other's company... Though it seemed some more than others." And then we spent the day on the lake.
When the sun had started to set, well.... I'll leave it to your imaginations." Sarah was recounting her honeymoon while everyone just bared with it. Asha and Cynthia looked as if they had eaten something bitter. Their feelings seemed to be growing for the past few weeks. It took a lot of soothing to calm Asha down after the Wedding. She wanted to find that idiot Dragonbane and wring his neck until I stepped in.
Eventually, I was able to calm her down by stating that John wouldn't want her to do that and a battle between 2 Duke Houses would cause problems for the Commoners of both territories. After an hour of Sarah bragging about how fun her honeymoon was, it was time for me to prepare to leave. I was relieved in a way. Since I felt uncomfortable imagining John and Sarah doing.... Things." Sharon, are you okay?"" Hm? Yes, Anna, I'm fine. Why do you ask?"" You looked like you were in pain for a moment.
Were you thinking about something painful just now?"" No, I was just thinking that it was time for me to leave." I told her a half truth. I mean, leaving my Friends must be the reason I'm sad, right?" Oh! You're right! Let's prepare to see you off, Sharon! I'm going to miss you so much!" Sarah was the first to say goodbye to me. I arrived at the gates to the Palace to find my Parents saying their goodbyes to the King and Queen, as well as Asha's Parents, Duke Clearfield and Auntie Pena.
I hugged my Friends and was getting ready to depart, before I heard a voice from behind me." Sharon! Take care, okay!? When we meet again, let's have another spar!" I turned around to see John. He had a sad expression on his face. I wanted to alleviate his sadness, but I had to go back home. All I could really do was nod to him as I lacked the right words to use to explain how I was feeling. Wrap! Tighten! Sarah, Asha, Anna and Cynthia, all of them gave me a group hug before I boarded the carriage.
My Family and I began to depart from the city. I started to recount all the memories I've made in this short period of time. When I had started thinking about how, for the past few days before the Wedding, I was unable to really interact with John that much, my Mom began to call out to me." Sharon, I know they're your Friends, Honey, but you'll see them again someday."" What do you mean, Mom?"" You have that look on your face, you had it when you were sick and couldn't train when you were a little girl.""
I'm just thinking about the memories I made these past few months is all?" I looked out the window of the carriage a bit puzzled about why my face had made me look so sad? In time, my Parents began to speak to each other about something, I began to think about the new Friend I had made and how we could grow closer as Friends the next time we meet. Hopefully, when we start exchanging letters, I can use information from them to help facilitate that. Time began to pass by faster that way.
As we made our way back home.... Asha Clearfield's Point of View 3 days after Sharon's departure, it was time for my own. I spent the morning enjoying tea with Sarah, Cynthia and Anna. I regretted the fact that John couldn't join us, a feeling I'm sure my Friends also felt, but he was being taught important lessons about Governance by King Warrick and Queen Aqua themselves. So, I think all we could really do was accept it.
However, I did feel envy still, because Sarah and Anna got to spend every night with John as soon as he got back from the day's trip to either an Orphanage or Hospital to heal more people. This narrative has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. If you see it on Amazon, please report it." Asha, I get that you might be upset at the current standing, but I gave you the chance to join us before. You chose not to. You need to hide your emotions better. If John thinks something is off, he'll blame himself over it."
Sarah spoke to me. Since it's the first time I felt like this, I need to learn how to hide these feelings of mine. Perhaps I should have been attempting to do this from the start? After all, John has been able to get genuine emotional reactions from me since I first met him. Maybe I was attracted to him from the start? Regardless, I needed to answer Sarah." I know, it's just sad that I'm about to be go far away and all I'll have to look forward to for a while are letters. From both him and you, Sarah.""
I know, but just know I'll be working behind the scenes to help you." Press. Sarah placed her hand on mine as she said that." Anna, are you sure you're okay with this?"" Honestly, we could use the help." Anna answered my question with a frustrated expression on her face." What do you mean, Anna?" Anna heard my question and began to blush. This made me more curious. Before I could investigate however, Sarah spoke for her."
Anna will be too shy to tell you, but basically, we could use some reinforcements in the bedroom, Asha."" HUH!?" I was shocked at how vulgar the conversation had become." This topic isn't a proper topic to have, Sarah! Cynthia! Don't look jealous! You're still an Academy Student!" Is Sarah's attitude hereditary? While I thought about this, Sarah spoke to me." You don't understand, Asha! The first night, he was able to tire Anna and I out along with himself.
However, as time has moved forward, it's like his diligence with anything else, he's improved leaps and bounds. Most nights he soundly defeats us no matter what we do. Even when Anna and I dressed as Maids, we sti----" Anna covered Sarah's mouth, finally, someone else with shame! No wait! That last sentence! She just wants to keep secret the things involving herself!" I vote to end this conversation here!
Asha, at the end of the day, it is your decision if you wish to marry John, however, having some information before your decision is important. This problem Sarah is discussing is less a problem and more an issue of wounded pride for her after all!"" Anna! You said you wouldn't tell anyone when I told you that!"" That was before you started telling people about our time at night as Wives with our Husband!"" Wow, Anna, you've changed since Marrying John." Cynthia spoke about Anna's change in demeanor.
She does seem different in subtle ways. Like her posture and the like. It seems Marrying John has caused her to finally gain the confidence she should've had in the first place. While I thought about the wonders of Marriage, Anna spoke." Well, someone has to balance them out. It seems that job has fallen onto me as the only one with proper common sense." Sarah and Anna began to bicker. It seemed to be all in good fun as by the time I had to leave, they were comforting each other as the carriage left.
I simply thought about what to write in my letters moving forward. I even consulted my Mother about it. I noticed my Dad had a look of nostalgia on his face. Maybe my Mother had done this before for someone?... Cynthia Dreadnaught's Point of View I woke up with the sun beaming through my window. It's been 2 days since Asha left BlackStone. The day had started for me the same as any other. I rose from my bed and prepared myself for the day. I enjoyed breakfast with Sarah and Anna.
They've become quite happy after their Marriage to John. It seems that John has been doing his best as a Husband. To the point where I wished he would calm down a little. Not because happiness is a bad thing mind you, but because they keep bragging about it! It's like they've forgotten I like John too! I almost want to protest, but then I see the happy faces adorning my Sister and Anna and then I'm powerless to speak. This problem persisted, even till lunch!" Cynthia!
Oh, sorry, we shouldn't be talking about this with you, should we? I'm sorry. I'm sure one day you'll understand though. When you Marry him, you just can't help but want to brag to some degree." Anna spoke to me. Her change has been a good one. Gone was the Maid who was unsure of herself and now, there's a Woman who wouldn't be out of place being a Nobleman's Wife. My Sister on the other hand, is less a Nobleman's Wife and more like she was when she was younger.
Before my Mother started to teach her the ways of a Proper Lady. Seems in all of her Marriage Bliss, she had regressed by a few years. Regardless, I couldn't blame her. After everything that happened to her, she finally met the first man she has ever thought of as a romantic interest and now, she successfully Married him, even though he wasn't even from our Country. In fact, he was a Race of Person that the populace, while maybe tolerant of to some degree, still did not want in their lives."
Princess Cynthia, it is time for your training with King Warrick." Trish appeared behind me, it seems that Father had finished his lunch and was ready to teach me." Okay, Trish! See you both for dinner, Sarah, Anna!" With a farewell, I headed off to the field my Father would be waiting for me in. Sarah and Anna would spend their time with my Mother. It seems that due to my Sister's attitude these past few days, Mother had decided to reign her in and teach Anna some know-how of Noble Society.
Since she was a Wife of a Marquess, it made sense for her to be able to act like one. I spent the rest of the day training with my Father. At night, I thought about what to write in the letters I would be sending soon, not to just my Sister, but John as well. I hope I can gain his interest to some degree and learn more about him! Such thoughts swirled in my head before I eventually fell asleep for the night.
