Chương 105: Chapter 93. Reception

The ride over was filled with us laughing. All 3 of us couldn't believe we were Married now. If someone looked into the carriage at that moment, they would think we had gone insane. Eventually, the laughing stopped and we just sat in silence and held hands. Before long, we reached the venue that the Reception was to be held in. I got out of the carriage and offered my hand to Sarah first as she was the first to exit the carriage after me. Grip!" How gentlemanly of you.""

I pointed to the way we just came to see a convoy of carriages carrying the guests of the Wedding. The girls, viewing the same sight, also separated from me. Release. Release." With my words, the girls grabbed my hands and pulled me into the building. We were met by staff from the castle. They brought us to a room the size of a gymnasium and led us to a heightened platform on the North side of the room. I was made to sit in the middle of a long table. Sarah sat to my right and Anna to my left. With that, we were served some food to snack on before the wedding guests arrived. While snacking on the food that was brought, I asked the girls a few questions that I was wondering."

Did you guys know anybody that was at the Wedding? You know, besides anyone who's blood related to Sarah or Asha and Sharon?" Anna was the first to answer." With that, we watched as more and more people poured into the room. Asha and Sharon entered with their families not much later than Sarah's family. We waved and they waved back. More and more people poured in until the room was nearly packed. Just as we thought the last of the people had arrived, a few familiar faces appeared.

Crest, Sandra and Dorothy entered together. Behind them Ronald entered with what seemed to be his wife. She was also a sheep person like him. I waved to them, and they waved back. If this were just 4 months ago, I'm sure I'd be freaked out at the idea of a bipedal lion and 2 sheep-like people walking into a room dressed in tuxedos and dresses, but my life has changed drastically.

I turned to the actual cause of all of that and to Sarah, I asked if I could go and speak to them, seeing as how she was more used to how these events with Nobles worked, I figured I should ask before I commit some kind of faux pas" Usually, in a regular party, after greeting the hosts, you can go and speak to whoever, as long as they're not already in a conversation with someone else. However, since this is a Wedding Reception and we 3 are the couple. Decorum dictates we stay here and allow others to come to us.""

So why aren't people coming to us?"" Because the food is going to be served first, John." Anna answered my question. Sarah then continued to speak." Don't you just hate having to wait to eat after you spent all day doing something? Not to mention, all of the Baron and Count Families that are here. Most of the Viscounts seem to not have attended. Maybe they don't enjoy that I Married a Human? Not to say that the others don't have certain views towards our Marriage, but at least they had proper sense of Etiquette and made an appearance."" My little statement caused Sarah and Anna to turn to me and speak in unison." She's off-limits!" I was puzzled by their reaction. I mean, there's no way Trish likes me after all, right? I reviewed all of our interactions as I ate her cooking. I came to the conclusion that the girls were freaking out for no reason. I mean to me at least, it seemed like Trish was simply helping me out because of Sarah. So that had to be the case.

With that assurance of logic, I enjoyed the meal that was given to me in honor of my Wedding to Sarah and Anna.
