Chương 63: Hero day
Three flowers and the Immoral Emperor · Pef · 178 chương · ~18 phút đọc · Tạo 31/07/2026
Liberating a slave camp was... liberating for my soul. Even though I wasn't killing, I was helping, and stopping those who tried to hide behind hostages, or to run. Lina would lack the combat experience in that case, right? So no running. A sneaky man placed a knife to the neck of a child, then his hand moved by itself to stab him in the eyes, then into his mouth and brain. A Venerable Nascent Soul was indeed too powerful against low realm cultivators, but then... Core Realm cultivators taking mortals as slaves?
A tall tree split open as I flicked a sliver of sword intent, and thousands of wood pikes flew in the air. Pef had read about a guy called Vlad the Impaler and was a big fan. I guess, now I was a big fan too. Our souls became linked now, and our knowledge and memories began to merge. No longer three separate flowers, but one branch holding the flowers. Perhaps that was the right way to keep existing in this world. Pef was the villain, Tian the hero, and Pef Tian... well. Whatever he wanted to be.
Just not a bald monk with his balls around the neck. That would be indeed Hell. Using my fingers to guide the qi wasn't necessary, but it made it more natural. I should work on that later, remove this weakness. Or at least present it as a weakness, and keep the silent casting as backup. Severed heads rose and got spiked in nice rows of impaled slavers, while Lina took her heroic job serious and chopped them up at Core realm speeds. When the chaff was done, I offered Lina the two Core males as training dummies.
They were already blind, so the fight wasn't fair. But fairness is an ideal, not something real. Meanwhile I dragged the blind Core woman into the slave camp, and selected 50 strong men for a different play.
"Men! This woman was the one keeping you in chains. I offer you revenge. Punish the slaver however you want." I said with a cloud face, and used my sword intent to pierce the woman's Core, making her cultivation leak out rapidly. As I expected the men took revenge by molesting and raping the hated cultivator, while the freed women cheered from the sides. Lina finished her fight with barely a few cuts and a broken rib, which might have been avoided if she fought smarter.
But the Dao doesn't care about fighting smart. Only that you win. Anyway, I grabbed the storage bags to check my loot, and amazingly found several Tier 2 fruits and even a Tier 3 fruit. It seems one of these Core slavers was someone important in a clan. Eh. That wasn't important. The pair of black heels were. Another Black Sister. Lina flew beside me and watched the freed slaves take revenge on the last survivor.
"Did you have to do that? Immoral!" she blamed me.
"I offered the men revenge. Nothing else. They chose this method. Now go and introduce yourself, make a name and legend out of this great deed." I urged Lina and pushed her forward.
"Everyone, my name is Lina Peng, from the Frozen Pavilion. You are now free, and can take whatever gold and food you find here. Just remember, slavery is bad. Don't keep slaves, even if you become rich." she proclaimed from the air.
"A fairy! Mom! A fairy saved us... like in the stories! I was good, and the fairy came..." a little girl sobbed into her mother's torn dress.
"Could have come sooner..." the mother grumbled and hugged her child. Spreading my soul sense, I located 3 young women with the Yin Meridian, hugging each other in a corner, while everyone avoided them. Yoink! New recruits! After helping the people get some food and share the gold coins, Lina flew back to me, and measured the newly saved recruits.
"Yin Meridians?" she asked to make sure.
"Yes. There are always some. Many don't even make it into the sect, just get chased out from their village once they start making men freeze. Perhaps even sold as slaves by their families." I said with a flat voice. People were always so cruel to each other. Stolen story; please report. A man from the camp pushed a woman and took her gold. Exactly like that... then a spike of wood impaled him from the sky.
"Go on! Rob each other for gold! I need to practice my aim with these wood spikes." I spoke from the skies with an amused voice. For some reason, nobody else tried to rob their fellow camp mates, after this. Lina sighed at the poor show of civility.
"They were just freed... and go back to being beasts. Let's go home, Pef Tian." she asked in a tired voice. I sent one last wood spike and impaled the gang-raped slaver. Then turned around and flew back to the Frozen Pavilion, and stopped in front of the gate. Quinhue arrived a minute later and examined me and the girls.
"Welcome home, hero Pef Tian! Lina... you need medical treatment. I'll take the new girls to the Outer Hall." I was a bit disappointed, but cultivators didn't care much about heroes. No welcoming parade, no medals... I could change that. The Sect Master wanted to see her sect thrive, right? I took out a bottle of milk lotion and gave it to Lina Peng.
"Good job hero. This is your reward." Then I flew into the Ice Hall, and went to see Minghue, who kept the Black Sister on ice beside her.
"Minghue, my dear! Guess what I found in a nearby slave camp? A woman slaver, with a pair of black heels." I proclaimed heroically, and shook the bag to drop the shoes on Fumi's bed.
"... Blue eyes, Core Realm?" Fumi asked in her shy voice. I took out the eyes to check. Blue.
"These eyes, yes. Someone you know?" I asked curious. Minghue groaned at my poor bedside manners.
"You're a Venerable now, Pef Tian. Playing games... obviously Fumi knows her, if she asked."
"So, the Black Sister is named Fumi? But... she did lie about her name." I asked with fake confusion.
"Fumi Zhan. You killed her uncle at your wedding. And took out his eyes as well. Is it so important you steal people's eyes?" Minghue spoke in a disgusted voice.
"For me personally, it's just practice. Alchemy. For your sect... making your Elders 30 or 40% stronger should be important. But if you don't want the Mangekyou pills... I can send them to auction, money is good too." I offered with a careless voice. A subtle shift of Ice qi, and Minghue scowled.
"Master agrees. We want your pills." I grinned a bit too wide, and leaned down to molest the captured spy. It wasn't a Black Widow, but what can a man do? I take my fun wherever I find it.
"Instead of doing that scumbag thing, can't you write an oath like you used on Mei? Break her compulsion?" Minghue asked in a kind tone, almost protective of the Black Sister.
"Fumi has to beg me for it. And I have to want it. See? Not the same. Mei used her mouth in so many pleasing ways..." I whispered while fondling the sexy spy.
"... Please!" she mumbled in a tiny voice.
"Nope! Fake and dishonest begging. I'll go work on a pill for you, my ice fairy. But it has to be taken with warm milk for a month. Demonic taint is really nasty." I spoke with a sleazy tone, then walked out, stopping by other ice beds to help or simply pat their heads in worse cases. I should go practice more pills... Back in my yard, a handful of crippled Elders were waiting eagerly to get cured. Two of them looked young and pretty enough to keep for my pure Yin source.
And the one without both legs had huge boobs matching Lina and Zhen. Make it three Yin sources then. Big boobs are fun.
"Elders! I expect it wasn't hard to find some lizards, right? Any other ingredients? Herbs, fruits, naked women?" I asked while rubbing my hands. Qin Lin groaned, maybe because she was practicing the leg split with her sisters. The legless woman blushed a bit around her veil to her ears.
"Venerable Tian... You already have so many wives." she muttered while passing me two storage bags. I sat down and took out my regular Core Cauldron. Quinhue bought it for me.
"Wives are wives, pretty fairy. But an adventure? A clash of Yin and Yang in a cave, under concealment? Now that's a legend for a hero!" I proclaimed in a grand voice, while starting with some easy Tier 1 pills. Proof of concept, so to speak. Throw in a lizard, some cheap herbs, turn up the heat... if anyone wants to eat lizard stew, that was my first result. I sighed inward and took out the next lizard, then sliced it up and selected a single vertebra. Stem cells, you say, Pef? Made inside the marrow?
Mortal medicine was useful too. Add another Yin-aligned herb, just because I can. Then a drop of my milk, for Yang energy. Simmer first, make it a paste, now turn up the heat and form a pill! Ding! A Tier 1 low-grade Restoration pill.
"Qi Gatherers who lost fingers can use this. Go test it!" I asked and threw the pill at the waiting Elder. Let go, Tian! You are the alchemy genius, not Pef! We have the proof of concept, now make it Supreme! The Dao must sing us praise! By the time the Elder returned, I had already made a High-grade pill. I threw it at another Elder.
"Mangled limbs, not amputations. Go!" I urged the one-armed woman with cute ears. It took 56 more pills, until the Dao remembered I wasn't working for money here. Ding! My first Supreme-grade Restoration pill!
"Finally! This pill will regrow a limb. But only for mortals and Qi Gathering cultivators. Tomorrow, we heal everyone in the sect who needs it. And I'll need more lizards." I declared in a satisfied voice, then stored my cauldron and went inside my room. What a day! What a hero! I did deserve a medal.
