Chương 50: Red wedding, but is a dress
Three flowers and the Immoral Emperor · Pef · 178 chương · ~17 phút đọc · Tạo 31/07/2026
Pef had some really interesting ideas on how to organize and profit from this wedding, not just via receiving expensive gifts and the military alliance that Zhen implied, but actually going deeper into the scam. I mean, his plan to woo the scorpion Ancestor worked well, even pretending we were a reincarnated Immortal, looking to speed-run another mortal life. Which was the opposite of the truth, yet close enough to make it feel real. But to harvest the eyes of the unbelievers? Could it even work? Most likely not!
A complex plan had too many points of failure, and some Nascent Souls also had divining powers, risking blowing everything wide open.
"Mei, what heads did you say you found in your inheritance storage?" I asked on a whim. My spymaster wife blinked and checked her huge ring. She brought out a blue-skinned head. Hmmm. A Naga warrior, from the Sea Isles, perhaps. But at least in Core Realm! Should work great with the Water Dao of the women.
"Quite useful. Take them all out, one by one..." I asked and stored the heads as they came. Two of them were human, and one was a dead Nascent Soul with a single eye left. Well, injuries did happen in combat. It would be more surprising if every head was intact.
"For pills?" Mei asked while Zhen played with a dead head like a yoyo, tugging at its hair.
"Exactly, my lovely wife. Come, Zhen. Take me to your yard..." I asked with a smile, and my future wife whisked me away, and turned on the Concealment.
"I noticed your wives don't know much about you... Pef Tian. Maybe that girl Qin Lin, but not the rest..." Zhen spoke while leaning on the door, with a sultry face... her veil already hanging to the side.
"Quinhue knows a lot more. But yes, with creepy old men reading their minds, it's not safe to tell them too much, for now. I guess you know a bit of Alchemy too, right?" I said while summoning the Emerald Cauldron and starting to throw in herbs and eyes. Well two eyes, for now. Let's not risk a failure with a witness at hand. Zhen sat behind me to watch, as I refined two pills at once, and made it look easy. As soon as I finished, she grabbed the pills to examine my work.
"High-grade pills? That's very good. But what are they? I've never seen pills like this." she asked curious.
"How do you think pill recipes are invented, my dear wife? Is it a dying old man, wasting his last spirit stone to risk a new recipe? Or perhaps a bored Immortal with too much time and wealth, experimenting for fun?" I asked while examining the Naga Mangekyou. On a whim, I ate a pill, just to see what it did. My meridians went into overdrive, giving me extra power, but also... a tiny bit of Water affinity. Not enough for magic spells, but still good.
Affinities expanded your senses, and in the Frozen Pavilion, that will be useful even more.
"You won't tell me? What if I eat this one then?" Zhen asked with a sneaky voice.
"Please do. It works better in Core Realm, but it should still help a Nascent Soul a little." I said without concern, and threw two more eyes into the cauldron, followed by some geomilk and other herbs. Recipes were a delicate thing to figure out, partly because this wasn't science, but art. And mostly because each herb had a different age, exposure to sun and so on. The skill of an Alchemist made the ingredients combine into a working pill, and nothing else.
A few minutes later, the new pills emerged, and at Supreme-grade! Tian, if you weren't a man and dead, I could kiss you. Instead, I turned and kissed a surprised Venerable for a long minute, then fondled a boob for fun. If you come across this story on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen from Royal Road. Please report it.
"What was that for? The pill barely does anything..." Zhen complained like an abused wife.
"My new recipe just reached Supreme-grade! This means the Dao accepts it! Other Alchemists can learn it now." I proclaimed in a happy voice, then stored the precious pills before Zhen ate them like candies.
"I guess that would be a good reason to be happy. So you want to be an Alchemist in this life?" Zhen asked curious.
"Duh. I already am a good Tier 4 Alchemist. But to reach Tier 5 in Alchemy, it's not enough to practice old recipes, you need to invent, and most importantly get recognition from the Dao. Then again, I did practice 50000 years only with a sword. I should do something else other than killing. Unless I do want to kill someone. In which case, a sword could be useful too." I boasted like a pro, then started making more pills. Three at once this time. My soul did get stronger with every pill... so it won't be long.
"I can't imagine... 50000 years, only with a sword? Don't you get... bored?" Zhen asked in quiet voice.
"Well... I would get bored now. But when you are still learning, not at all. Every fight is a lesson, every technique is a victory. If you come with me to the Central Continent, you will see it. Nascent Souls barely qualify as outer disciples. Like one in a hundred, so they need talent. Soul Transformation is the norm to even get into a good sect." I spoke in a grand voice, then collected my new pills. I kept making 3 pills at once, until I ran out of Core eyes. Then I sighed and floated on my reclining chair.
Well it wasn't mine, but I was using it.
"Hey Zhen. I never asked... do you like me? As a man you want to marry." I wondered curious. The Venerable measured me for a long minute.
"Now I do. Can you really help me with Soul Transformation?" she asked with a greedy voice.
"That's super easy, my dear. But... what do I get?" I asked with a sly voice, and patted my groin.
"Figures, even Immortals want sex." she muttered and sat in my lap.
"Actually they don't. We have to descend as a mortal to enjoy life. Plus, those Immortal women... how do you think they reached there? Cold bitches..." I grumbled like a frustrated Immortal with nobody to have sex with. Pef's idea... but it worked.
"... Huh. That explains so much, husband. Let this Zhen show you the pleasures of mortal dust then..." she whispered while kissing my chest, and moving lower. Slowly, her wet mouth engulfed my tip, and dripped her saliva while her body floated parallel to my chair, giving her a perfect position to work. Experience does matter... Not to mention that Nine-Yin Meridian, which made me see blue stars every time her tongue moved. Tian's flower held a thumb up, likely as congratulations on a perfect find.
As for Pef Tian... the milk boy just dreamed of seeing heaven... which was very close. So much pleasure. Zhen mouth vibrated softly as she began to descend to my base, and my body reacted by itself, pumping out a jet of hot milk. She swirled the precious liquid in her mouth and showed me the prize, then gulped it with a complicated look in her eyes. I guess she wanted to say something, then decided to be kind? Possibly.
"It felt very good, my lovely wife. Now back to pills. I have another recipe I want to finish and get the Dao reward!" I boasted aloud, and flew down in front of my cauldron. Teshan's eye appeared in my hand.
"Mei's father. He must hate my guts... haha!" I said while flicking the eye into the cauldron, followed by more geomilk and rare Tier 3 herbs.
"Don't tell me. He had eyes but didn't see Mount Tai..." Zhen asked while resting in my reclining chair.
"Pretty much, yes. I invited him to his daughter's wedding. He couldn't make it in person, but sent his eyes." I explained in a metaphor, and Zhen let out an amused laugh.
"Husband, you must have so much fun in this life. Like playing a children's game." she noted in a wiser voice.
"Of course. But... the stakes are also high. If you die... someone else gets to play in your next life, while you watch from the spectator's stand. And you can only hope it's not an idiot." I said with a hint of a higher truth. Alchemy did touch the Dao, just like Tian said. The pill popped out, and was still only high-grade. Damn it! One last chance, one eyed guy! You better be a big criminal and give me a Supreme-grade. I started once more, and the Emerald Cauldron began to glow before the pill finished.
Jumping high, I grabbed the pill and yelled in joy!
"We are so Supreme!" Zhen came beside me to see the pill.
"A Supreme Tier 3? What does it do?" she asked in a greedy voice. I stored the pill and hugged her tight.
"So many questions... did you forget?" I hinted while my hands glided over her large round ass. She eyed the Sect Master's bed.
"In her bed? And leave a mess too?" she proposed with a vengeful voice. I quite liked her idea, as would any man with a brain, or even without. Such a perfect beauty had to be pounded into a bed until it broke. So I did.
