Arthur stood up, noticing that more time had passed than he had actually spent in that place, whatever it was called. However, before he could take his first step, he suddenly felt something different in his body. It was so unfamiliar that his steps faltered, and he quickly clutched the stone wall to stabilize himself.
'What the hell is going on?' He slowly straightened up and inspected his own body. He had almost forgotten that his evolution had just finished, and that his body had evolved along with his basic strength. Thus, it was natural to feel alien to this newfound strength. Arthur stared at his palm; an unbelievable strength surged through his hand as he clutched his fist. His previously fragile and brittle figure was gone. A new body had been constructed when he evolved.
He also felt his stature had become big, with his eye level increased. His height, muscles, and overall constitution had grown exponentially. [Active Contracts] Worker 1 [Permanent]: Coburn (Jack of all trades) Worker 2 [Permanent]: Bathory (Blacksmith) Worker 3 [Permanent]: Maan (Shield Warrior) Worker 4 [Permanent]: Antrae (Butcher)... The Attribute points had completely changed from earlier. Intelligence, which previously had 4, now increased by 14 points. Strength also increased by 26 points, and Agility possessed a 22-point increase.
Although Dexterity had the lowest point increase of only 9, it was a big increase as well. Finally, the highest point increase was Vitality with a 34-point increase, a very big jump considering it was previously only 2. His evolution rating was definitely Flawless. He used to hear people complain about how low the Attribute point increase was when they evolved; an increase as low as 2 points was also possible. However, Arthur did not know why he was rated this high.
His subconscious mind subtly told him it might have to do with the notebook. But he discarded that notion. If that notebook were to give what it wanted, why wouldn't it increase each of his Attributes by at least 50 points? Instinctively, he felt a link to all the summoned skeletons. Even the skeletons currently doing mining were in his control. Now, he could naturally give orders from this cave, since they were in the 10 km range. Arthur immediately tried giving a command.

"Cross, collect all the Faunite Crystals that have been mined so far," Arthur commanded. Although he could give commands, he could not see what was happening there.
"Once you collect all the crystals, dismiss yourself," Arthur added as one more command. With that command, he did not need to wait. Once the Miner Skeleton collected all the crystals, it would dismiss itself from the real world. At that time, his link with the skeleton would be severed. Arthur could then guess that it had successfully executed his command, and he could easily summon the skeleton to his current position. Meanwhile, Arthur stretched his limbs to try to become familiar with them.
His muscles tightened whenever he moved his hands, and he could blatantly feel the force. He wanted to become familiar with this before he set out to hunt monsters. After a few minutes of stretching, he could now feel the familiarity of his body. Although he still felt some discomfort, it would become normal as time passed. Slowly, he walked out of the dead-end cave. Looking at the sun's position, he guessed the time to be around 9 in the morning.
A total of four hours of evolution had happened, but it had felt like only five minutes inside that place.
"Very strange," Arthur muttered. Coburn, Maan, and Dolph stood side by side, guarding the entrance. The highest status of his current combat skeletons was Expert. Something was gnawing at his heart; he might have to hire skeletons with a higher status. These skeletons would not evolve into the next status until they reached the next territory. For that, he might have to find a key. However, as for where he could get that key, he did not know. While thinking about his future plans, he summoned Ava, the Alchemist.
First, he wanted to check the Crystal, which he was currently most eager about. If it were to successfully extract the essence of the stone, it would definitely boost his strength one step higher! While he was daydreaming of the crystal body, his Link to the Cross Skeleton severed in the real world. This meant the skeleton had collected all the crystals and dismissed itself. Without delay, Arthur summoned the skeleton back. With a pile of Crystals, a skeleton emerged, holding a pickaxe in its hand. It worked!
Arthur joyed over the new ability. A lot of time was saved; if not for it, he would have had to send Coburn to collect the crystals, which would have definitely taken a lot of time. With that joy, another great surprise was the quantity of the crystals Cross had brought. The pile was more than he had seen in the King's chamber! The skeletons must have worked all night to gather this much.
Furthermore, there were a total of three places where they were doing mining, so the amount of crystals they collected was understandable. Zero the Appraiser must still be searching for the crystal chamber. Arthur wanted them to do the mining until they encountered someone. The Faunite Crystal was an S-rarity material, and a small piece cost more than a million! The more he mined, the richer he would get. Furthermore, he could use the crystals for alchemy usage.
Following which, Arthur picked up a handful of Faunite Crystals, which could almost fetch 10 million Credits in the outer world and handed them over to Ava. It gladly took them and waited for orders.
"Ava, I want you to extract the essence of this Crystal and make a consumable potion," Arthur explained his intention.
"I want you to convert the essence into a potion without any side effects, and the effect should be actively controlled by the consumer," Arthur added. Currently, he did not know if he could turn his body parts into crystal. Even if it did happen, he wanted to make sure he could turn back to normal and vice versa. If he were to turn into a crystal man, his life would be difficult. Even his family would not recognize him!
Thus, he explained everything he wanted so that it could try everything within its capabilities, since it was a Master status skeleton.
"Can you do it? Is that possible? If so, jump once," Arthur asked as he waited eagerly. As he did so, he prayed in his heart.
