When Bathory finished sharpening the sword, it was already noon. Arthur returned home to have lunch. Afterward, he picked up a taxi to Luck Forest. It would take at least an hour of travel to reach the forest. The Awakening database mentioned specific places where the [Blind Hunk Boar] prominently lived. Three places were mentioned as their territory, and when the male and female adults roamed there, their behavior would be fierce. If a person were in a party, they could march there.
However, if a person were solo, they must try to hunt on the borders of these three places. Currently, Arthur decided to hunt near the Plumeria Mountain territory border. As the name suggested, the forest was covered by five connected mountains of medium height. This was Arthur's first time visiting Luck Forest, so he had yet to witness the territory. Arthur was a little nervous as he moved towards his destination while sitting in the taxi.
He had taken the swift decision to dissolve the partnership contract with Mawman. Although he felt somewhat reluctant now, he did not regret the decision. He was not a well-knowledgeable person regarding the politics of the Inner Sectors, so he was bound to fail eventually. However, the thing he was afraid of was his family being used as collateral. It was a situation he was bound to avoid no matter what. One of the other reasons for his quick decision was his main quest rewards.
[Quest Reward]: Exclusive Authority and Coordinates to the [Coffer Iron Mining Location]. He was so involved in the penalty of the quest that he had almost forgotten about the reward. It was humongous. According to his understanding, he would exclusively get [Authority], which meant the License. Now that he thought about it, he would eventually get the Industrial License once he completed the quest. Since Mining would also come under Industry, the system or that notebook would issue him a license eventually.
Hence, he did not need to abolish his dream of starting the [Purchase Blacksmith Company] or [Purchase Mining Company]. So, he wasn't too depressed about the chance to earn a lot of money. He would eventually earn it. For now, however, he had to follow the plan he had in his mind. While Arthur was going through his thoughts, the taxi finally stopped at the base of the forest. A big gate appeared ahead. There were also a lot of people present; they were mostly Awakened wearing armor and holding weapons.
He quickly paid the fare, starting to walk towards the entrance of the gate. A Union Government representative was checking the authenticity of the people entering. Only Awakened people were allowed to enter the forest. Arthur quickly took out his Sigil, standing in the line that was moving quickly. Once it was his turn, he handed over the Sigil. The middle-aged man took the Sigil, placing it on an artifact-like machine and reading through the details of his class and other details.
After he fully read the details, his head turned towards Arthur. However, there was not an expression of surprise or anything. Stolen from Royal Road, this story should be reported if encountered on Amazon.
'Maybe the class name made his curiosity pique,' Arthur thought. This was because his original class name was [Undead Factory Trader], but the class name given by the Awakening inspection was [Skeleton Summoner]. Following which, the officer returned the Sigil. Arthur took it and put it into his pocket, starting his walk into the gate entrance. According to the details he read on the website, Luck Forest had a total of five entrances.
Everyone had to enter through one of those, as the whole forest was covered in protection with enforced barbwire. It eventually prevented the monsters from exiting the forest and people from entering illegally. However, there was no entrance fee or share charged by the Union government. The moment he entered, there were signs indicating where the specific places were located. Arthur started to read the details. [Plumeria Mountain] was located west of where he stood. He started his walk.
If he followed the same dirt path, he would eventually notice a five-mountain range from afar. That would indicate he had reached his destination. However, the bad news was he had to cross two dangerous beast territories to reach there. As a result, he might have to fight on the way. Hence, he used all his senses to the limit while he started walking. One of the main reliefs was that there were a lot of people walking on the same dirt path, which helped control his anxiety.
But the more he walked, the fewer people he could see. When he had reached 75% of the distance, he was alone; no one could be seen as far as his eyes could see. The dirt path also started to trail off, as if it was not used frequently. There were a lot of weeds and ground bushes in the middle of the path. Such a situation indicated to Arthur that the dangerous territory had started. Without any delay, Arthur summoned Coburn.
Within moments, Coburn came out of the diagram with a shiny sword in his hand, which Bathory had forged earlier.
"Walk close to me and maintain a high alert for dangers around you. Spread your senses as far as you can and listen without any distractions," Arthur commanded Coburn. After that, he continued his walk. Fortunately, the duo did not face any beasts while walking, and Arthur could finally see the mountain. As it was described, it was not a tall mountain. Instead, it was just a small hill connected to each other, separated by a valley.
After walking a short distance, Arthur guessed it would be enough to be considered the outer territory of the hill. Hence, he planned to leave the dirt path and enter into the forest to search for the beast. Currently, it was 3 in the evening. If he could find one before it got dark, he would leave the forest safely. Otherwise, it would be a danger to his life to roam the forest at night. However, before he could walk a few meters into the forest, he suddenly heard a commotion.
People were yelling, and a battle was happening somewhere. Arthur stood still to hear the direction of the commotion. In reality, however, he was unable to find out a clear direction, as the sound echoed all over the place.
"Coburn, find the direction of the commotion," Arthur commanded. Within the next second, the skeleton started to move deep into the forest, and Arthur closely followed behind. Surprisingly, the commotion started to become much clearer now. Arthur was amazed by Coburn's hearing and sensing abilities. Soon, both Coburn and Arthur arrived at a clearing where the actual battle was occurring. Currently, a party of five was battling two Hunk Boars, which appeared to be adults.
The Hunk Boars were enormous in size, with protruding tusks. Their heavy bodies shook the ground when they ran. The battle was currently a stalemate; nobody was winning. The party of five all looked to be young Awakened, similar to new Awakened as himself, Arthur guessed. Two possessed a Sword Weapon Affinity, while one possessed a Shield Affinity. One girl was using a Fire Elemental Affinity, whereas another girl, a healer, stood a distance away, continuously using her Special Affinity to heal her party.
Arthur did not walk any further. He planned to involve himself only if they were in severe danger. Otherwise, if they were to retreat in defeat, Arthur could try his luck by hunting the already exhausted beasts. Hence, Arthur simply waited.
