Aidan Over the course of the several days before the end of the Tutorial, I take some well needed time to rest, time to practice my skills, time to test my voidling general, and time to decide on which skill to upgrade. But on the day that the Tutorial is about to end, I find a rather unpleasant message appearing in my face when I finally try to upgrade the skill rarity of my chosen skill. [Skill Throne of Retribution(UNIQUE) is already the highest rarity possible, therefore it cannot be upgraded.] Damn.
That's a shame. I was hoping I could upgrade it. The same message appears when I try to upgrade my other Unique rarity skills. So I eventually settle on one of my Legendary rarity skills. Upgrading the skill to Mythic. Which is apparently above Legendary. Not Unique. [Ability Synthesis(Legendary) – Grants the Void Creator the power to give a single inborn Racial Skill to each of the void creatures they create.] -> [Ability Synthesis(Mythic) – Grants the Void Creator the power to give two inborn Racial Skills to each of the void creatures they create.] The upgrade is pretty satisfying, though. Even if it's not Unique. So I'm fine with it. I rest for the remaining time until the end of the Tutorial, at which point I finally see the final results of Cluster Tutorial Leaderboards. But that's not all, as the Galaxy Tutorial Leaderboards appears after the cluster one. ◊◊◊ Cluster Tutorial Leaderboards 1. Aidan Vale 2.

Snapjaw the First ◊ Rewards for Tutorial Leaderboards placement will now be handed out. ◊ Reading on this site? This novel is published elsewhere. Support the author by seeking out the original. ◊◊◊ Huh. That's interesting. I was already expecting that I'd probably be ranked first in the cluster, but I wasn't sure I'd be first in the entire galaxy. Even with that Galaxy-Wide Achievement. What's more is that there seems to be a pretty large gap between me and second place in the cluster.
Considering the gap between us in the galaxy leaderboards. Also, that drake I met on the second floor actually got second place in the cluster leaderboards. Making it back up to his original spot on the leaderboards before the second, third, and fourth floors knocked him down some ranks. ◊ For placing within the top one hundred on the Cluster Tutorial Leaderboards, a Legendary Lord Token will automatically be activated for you upon leaving the Tutorial.
This token will teleport you to a place perfect for you and establish a System City in that location, turning you into a City Lord. You will also be given a free System Kiosk and System Portal that you may place within the city wherever you please. ◊ ◊ For placing within the top ten on the Cluster Tutorial Leaderboards, you will receive ten thousand War Points upon leaving the Tutorial.
◊ ◊ For placing first on the Cluster Tutorial Leaderboards, you will receive the Title Cluster Tutorial First Ranker, granting the Title holder a 3% boost to the effects of their stats. ◊ The first reward I already knew about. The second reward is nice, although I don't know how many War Points is a lot yet. But the third reward… I sure am getting a lot of Titles. This is my fourth Title already. I'm already one Title past what I need for the requirements to reach Silver Tier.
And I'm almost halfway to the number of Titles I need to reach Gold Tier. It's kind of ridiculous? But, at the same time, rather nice. Since I don't have to worry about getting Titles to meet the requirements if I keep going at this rate. ◊ For placing within the top one hundred on the Galaxy Tutorial Leaderboards, you will receive one random Unique building unlock for your System City upon its establishment after leaving the Tutorial.
◊ ◊ For placing within the top ten on the Galaxy Tutorial Leaderboards, you will receive the Title Galaxy Tutorial Top Ranker, granting the Title holder a 5% boost to the effects of their stats. ◊ ◊ For placing first on the Galaxy Tutorial Leaderboards, you will receive one hundred thousand War Points, you will receive one random Boss Monster unlock for the Multiversal Wars, and you will receive the Title Galaxy Tutorial First Ranker, granting the Title holder a 10% boost to the effect of their stats. ◊ Yep.
Lots of Titles. And, along with the Titles, I feel a flood of power fill me. A lot more power growth at once than any single level I've ever received. Which makes sense. These three Titles are increasing the effects of my stats by about eighteen percent in one go. A lot more than any single level would do. Although it isn't as much as the ascension to Bronze Tier gave me. So maybe not more than any single level. Anyway, it's rather telling how half of the Galaxy Ranker rewards are Multiversal Wars related.
But I'm not going to complain about free unlocks for my city and for monsters. Even if it's a little irritating how much importance the System is constantly putting on the Multiversal Wars. The System also seems to like giving out Titles as rewards. Since I have six Titles already before the Tutorial even finishes. Will the System continue giving out Titles for event rewards? And what about rewards for those weekly Labyrinth Leaderboards that Seraphyne mentioned? Will those give Titles, too?
I obviously don't get an answer right now before the next messages appear. ◊ Would you like to stay in the Tutorial Stasis Chamber for the next three hours to browse the Tutorial Shop, or would you like to immediately leave the Tutorial? Stay / Leave ◊ There's no reason to stay here any longer, so I go ahead and select leave. At which point I find myself being teleported with my voidling into a very familiar office. With a familiar asshole behind the desk in front of me.
The man still has that neatly combed green hair, and is wearing that same black business suit and green tie that match his eyes. Except this time he looks a lot more excited than when I first appeared in the room the last time around.
"I knew you would bring me that bonus, Void Crowne! Thank you so much!" the Guide whose actual name I don't know exclaims while reaching out to take my hand and shake it with a wide smile.
"I knew you would do well, but first place! Damn! You did great!" A large part of me wants to punch him in the face right now. Really bad. But the strength I feel in his grip completely squashes that thought. Not to mention the power I feel in his aura, which is immense. Of course he would be powerful compared to me, a newly initialized user in Bronze Tier. He's from a different galaxy that's been in the System for who knows how long. It would be weirder if he wasn't this strong compared to me.
I let out a sigh before asking, "How long do I have this time?" The Guide doesn't stop smiling as he answers, "You have one hour! So please use it however you wish! I've gotten so much from you already!" Everything he says just grinds more and more on my nerves…
"I have to say, you look like you're in much better shape than when I last saw you!" he says, surprising me for a moment.
"You look more upbeat. It looks like the System is doing you good!" More… upbeat? I guess I am in a much better mood now than before the System thanks to the hunger problem being dealt with. But is it really that noticeable? Actually, no. Now's not the time. I should use my… questions? Wait, can't I just ask Seraphyne any questions now? And haven't I already asked a lot of questions to her and gotten answers already?
Without paying the Guide any mind for the moment, I look through the icons in my vision, at which point I find a few new icons amongst their number. One of the new icons is faded out and has the image of some sort of condensed city on it. Likely being the System Menu to manage the System City. Another icon that is not faded out this time is one with two blades clashing behind a shield. Which is probably the Multiversal Wars menu. And, lastly, there's a question mark icon that I have no idea what does.
With this one not being faded out either. Okay, maybe I will have some questions after all.
