With several different options to choose from. ◊◊◊◊◊ Tutorial Shop Items Shop Skills Shop Tokens Shop Supplies Shop Multiversal War Shop ◊◊◊◊◊ Hmm. That's a lot of shops. I go ahead and start by opening the Items Shop. But there isn't much in there of interest to me other than some basic mana cores. I do find myself a little surprised by the prices, though. Since the Bronze Tier items are all about one thousand Tutorial Points each.

And the same goes for the Bronze Tier mana cores. As for the Iron Tier stuff? They're about one hundred Tutorial Points apiece. But I'm not really interested in Iron Tier stuff. I'm not even all that interested in the Bronze Tier stuff, other than mana cores to refill my army of voidlings. There are a few Silver Tier items at the end, but there aren't Silver Tier mana cores. And a Silver Tier item costs ten thousand Tutorial Points. So they're nothing but free source mana for me.

Something to keep in mind at the end if there's nothing I really want to buy, but not something I'm all that interested in at the moment. After the Items Shop, I move onto the Skills Shop. But there only two skills in the entire Skills Shop. The options that are there, however… ◊◊◊◊◊ Skills Shop Buy – 10, 000 Tutorial Points – Meditation – Allows the user to meditate and regenerate their mana at 5 times the usual speed during meditation. However, the user may not do anything else while meditating.

Buy – 10, 000 Tutorial Points – Rest – Allows the user to rest and regenerate their wounds at 5 times the usual speed during rest. However, the user may not do anything else while resting. ◊◊◊◊◊ They're really good. And really expensive. Without wasting any time, I send a message to Seraphyne about these skills. Specifically asking if it's possible to get them without buying them. Her response is rather immediate and… short. ◊ Seraphyne ◊ - [Buy them.] Thankfully, though, she sends another message not too long after to explain her first message. ◊ Seraphyne ◊ - [The only way to obtain Rest or Meditate are through System Events, or through Victory Points obtained in the Multiversal Wars. But the price is significantly higher to obtain them from Victory Points. Most people who don't obtain the skills during the Tutorial regret it.] That's that, then. I go ahead and buy both of the skills for twenty thousand Tutorial Points. Then I move onto the next shop.

The Tokens Shop. And, just like with the Skills Shop, it's rather barren of things to buy. ◊◊◊◊◊ Tokens Shop This story originates from Royal Road. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there. Buy – 30, 000 Tutorial Points – Bloodline Change Token – Allows the user to change their Bloodline to a random Bloodline that suits the user. This is only available to use once, cannot be given to another user, and can never be obtained again after the Tutorial.

Buy – 30, 000 Tutorial Points – Species Change Token – Allows the user to change their species to a random species that suits the user. This is only available to use once, cannot be given to another user, and can never be obtained again after the Tutorial. Buy – 25, 000 Tutorial Points – Rare Lord Token – Allows the user to establish a System City. A System Kiosk and a System Portal are automatically provided when the System City is established.

Buy – 20, 000 Tutorial Points – Uncommon Lord Token – Allows the user to establish a System City. However, a System Portal must be purchased separately with Victory Points. Buy – 10, 000 Tutorial Points – Common Lord Token – Allows the user to establish a System City. However, a System Kiosk and a System Portal must be purchased separately with Victory Points. ◊◊◊◊◊ It doesn't look like any of the tokens available in the Token Shop are useful for me.

Since I can't afford the Bloodline Change Token and wouldn't really want it even if I could. And the Species Change Token would be stupid to even consider, considering I'm a Unique Lifeform now. And even if my hunger for source mana has made my life a living hell up until the System, now that I know how to satiate that hunger, I'm actually quite happy with my Bloodline. As for the Lord Tokens? I'm currently ranked first in the Tutorial, which should give me a free Legendary Lord Token.

So there's no need to purchase a worse token when I'm getting a free better one. Even if I somehow lose first place, I genuinely can't see myself going below fifth or tenth place. And those still get epic tokens. After deciding against the Token Shop, I close out of it and enter the next shop. The Supplies Shop. But that's just food and other daily necessities that will be needed after leaving the Tutorial.

It's kind of nice that they're offering, but I don't really need most of them thanks to my species not needing food or water. At most I might need clothes, but it's a waste to burn Tutorial Points on something like clothes. So, after briefly scanning through the stuff in the Supplies Shop, I close out of it and move onto the Multiversal War Shop. Which I'm honestly rather curious about. What I find is unexpected.

◊◊◊◊◊ Multiversal War Shop Buy – 10, 000 Tutorial Points – Tutorial Discount Perk – All monsters sent by the user to planets at war with the user's planet cost 10 percent fewer War Points. Buy – 10, 000 Tutorial Points – Tutorial Skill Infusion Perk – Allows the user to send monsters with one of their skills added to the monster's skill list for an additional 20% War Points cost.

Buy – 10, 000 Tutorial Points – Monster Unlock: Lesser Dragon – Unlocks the Lesser Dragon monster to be sent by the user in the Multiversal Wars. Buy – 7, 500 Tutorial Points – Strong Bosses Perk – All boss monsters sent by the user have ten percent higher base stats for their highest stat. Buy – 7, 500 Tutorial Points – Reflective City Walls – Unlocks the Reflective City Walls Multiversal War upgrade for the user's System City.

Granting their city walls that reflect ten percent of damage done to them back at the attackers should the user purchase the upgrade. Buy – 7, 500 Tutorial Points – Monster Unlock: Haunting Wraith – Unlocks the Haunting Wraith monster to be sent by the user in the Multiversal Wars. Buy – 5, 000 Tutorial Points – Random Monster Perk – Unlocks the ability for the user to send a completely random monster to planets at war with the user's planet. Including monsters they have not unlocked. … ◊◊◊◊◊ Excuse me?

What the fuck? I can't help but blankly stare at the shop and the many, many things I can purchase in it. Because it's starting to paint a picture of what these Multiversal Wars are. And that is not a very pretty picture. Is the System trying to turn the multiverse into one giant tower defense battles game? I've played those types of games before.

They're where you play against another player in a tower defense game, with you both creating defenses to defend against the other player's sent monsters while also sending monsters of your own to attack the other player's defenses. But now the System is making that a direct method to wage war? This is just ridiculous. I lean back in the recliner with a groan as I cover my face with my hand. And, after just sitting in silence for a few minutes, I sit forward while sending a message to Seraphyne.

Then you will be forced against your will to participate for their benefit.] This System is shit.

So if it really bothers you, then you may choose that option.] Okay, that's not as bad then. If it means regular people like children and the elderly won't be attacked by the monsters I summon. Only people actively sending monsters to our planet to attack us. That makes me feel better. Wait a second, how is she telling me all of this?

What happened to the System censorship? When I ask, she just says that the censorship is now gone since I've technically completed the Tutorial. Even if the Tutorial isn't over. In that case, I should ask for some more details about the Multiversal War over the course of the next several days. Since I'll be sitting here unable to really do anything else anyways.
