Fire techniques erupted one after another. Shuriken flew through the arena. Sasuke used every ounce of speed he possessed to compensate for the overwhelming physical advantage Thor enjoyed. Meanwhile Thor laughed louder and louder as the fight progressed, completely enjoying himself. The spectators had stopped looking at Sasuke as a child several minutes ago. Now they were looking at him as a warrior. Then suddenly the atmosphere changed. A sharp chirping noise echoed throughout the arena. CHIIIIIIIIIIII.

Every spectator froze. Blue lightning gathered inside Sasuke's palm. The sound alone was enough to send chills through the audience. Lightning crawled across his arm while cracks formed beneath his feet. The Asgardians, including Frigga, looked like they had seen a ghost. A child, no sorry, a budding teenager was holding lightning. Forget about the rest, even Thor himself flabbergasted by this. Wasn't he the God of Lightning? How come he couldn't do that?

It should be this kid who should be called the God of Lightning. He couldn't even think about holding lightning like the way Sasuke did. First when Rei was around and showed his speed, he had believed that these so called "Shinobi" were good at speed and didn't have the defense and strength of an Asgardian. But a person that could hold lightning could be termed as low on defense. Yeah! Fuck that.

"Chidori." Thor was excited to as he gathered lighting and the clouds appeared high over head. Sasuke noticed it but didn't back off. Both were looking for one final clash before determining who was victorious. For the first time since the match began, nobody was underestimating him anymore. Then Frigga appeared right before each of them struck one another.

"Enough." She spoke in a volume loud enough for everyone to hear. Thor immediately lowered Mjolnir. Sasuke remained still for several moments as the lightning continued crackling in his palm. It was obvious he wanted to continue. The Sharingan in his eyes spun lazily and his pride demanded more. But they were guests here. Eventually the lightning dispersed.

"Hmph." Thor laughed loudly.

"A fine warrior." Sasuke looked away as if he didn't care. The slight upward twitch of his lips betrayed him completely.

"You have been glaringly silent for sometime now." Frigga said as she stood by the balcony seeing the sun set in the distant horizon. The grandiose of Asagrd wasn't something one could just look for a single day and be bored. One could remain in Asgard for ages and still never get bored with the scenery around. Maybe it was the beauty, maybe it was the magic, nobody knew but Asgard was a place of beauty and prosperity.

The sun was slowly dipping at the edge of the horizon where one could also see the Rainbow bridge. It was soothing to the eye of Odin as he looked beyond.

"The beauty of this place will always be unmatched. My ancestors, my father and me have continued to add more prosperity to this place as much as possible over the years." Odin said.

"Well.. You went quite on the war path before." Frigga joked.

"I did.. I thought my father was a fool too, like my son did, and we should bring the whole universe down to our knees. And I did. The 9 realms came under Asgard and I was their ruler. But violence has no end. I thought that bringing peace to the realms was what I was doing. But I was actually fueling my thirst for violence and slaughter." "But you did change at the end." Frigga said.

"I did. Thank you my Queen for showing the way to find peace in my heart." Odin said as he really sounded grateful to his wife and one could see how this man went berserk after his wife died under the hands of Dark Elves. Frigga smiled with a charm that could even make the coldest hearts melt, and then continued to look at the people in the city bustling around. After a brief silence Odin continued.

"The kid. His body carries malice but he has a heart of gold." Odin said. Frigga, who had been looking at the horizon now turned and looked at Odin with a small surprised. She thought Odin didn't sense the entity that was lurking inside the body of that kid with whiskers. She was going to bring that topic up but it seemed her husband had noticed it regardless.

"Having malice around one doesn't make someone a bad person. It's the actions that decides. I hope that the kid in the future wouldn't commit the same mistakes I did." Odin said. The evening arrived soon after. If the arena had impressed Team 7 before, then what awaited them now completely shattered their understanding of what a celebration was supposed to look like. The banquet hall itself was larger than entire districts of Konoha.

Long golden tables stretched across the enormous chamber while countless chandeliers illuminated everything with a warm glow. Warriors, nobles, merchants, scholars and guests from various parts of Asgard filled the hall. Music played from one side while servants moved through the crowd carrying dishes that looked expensive enough to bankrupt minor nations. Naruto was silent for entirely a minute and that was saying something.

"Naruto?" Sakura had to poke him to understand if this guy had just crashed on his hardware or something.

"... I think I died and went to heaven." Naruto said after another brief moment of silence. The amount of food present could probably feed a small village for days. But that could be expected from a place like Asgard where people ate a bit more than normal humans. Meanwhile the attention of the hall wasn't entirely focused on Thor. A surprising amount was directed toward the visitors. Word had already spread that a boy who fought Thor. The boy could control lightning just like Thor and was amazing in fight too.

More than a few Asgardians approached Sasuke throughout the evening. Some congratulated him for the match while others spoke of his fire techniques. Sasuke accepted the compliments with his usual stoic expression, though internally he was rather pleased. Unfortunately, Thor had discovered something far more important. The display of Chidori.

"So how do you hold lightning?" Sasuke straight ignored him. Thor followed.

"No really. How do you do it?" Sasuke found a apple on the table and started eating it heartily while also ignoring this dude. But Thor bring Thor, he didn't give up.

"No really. How do you do it?"

"Can anyone learn it?"

"Can I learn it?" Finally Sasuke stopped munching on that juicy apple. He had to reply to get this dude off his back.

"No."

"Why?"

"Because I said so." Thor looked genuinely devastated. A few moments later he tried again, clearly not understanding of giving up.

"So this technique called Chidori.."

"No."

"What if.."

"No." Seeing Rei around Sasuke finally felt relief and called upon him.

"You teach him, surely you know." Rei immediately shook his head.

"No idea." Sasuke almost choked.

"You literally watched me learn it."

"I don't know what you're talking about." Rei replied with a straight face, and with Oscar level acting. Sasuke feeling betrayed turned to Kakashi who seemed quite content with seeing the things around.

"Sensei.. Teach him lightning release.." Sasuke hollered.

"Lightning? Never heard of it." Sasuke stared at him. The man who invented Chidori had just denied knowing what lightning release was. Naruto immediately started laughing.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!" Even Sakura had to look away. Thor looked between the three of them.

"You are all lying." Thor was dumb but not that dumb.

"Correct." Sasuke replied. For the first time all evening, Thor and Sasuke were united in being annoyed. Meanwhile Frigga watched the entire interaction while hiding a smile behind her cup. The banquet continued for hours. Stories were exchanged. Warriors boasted of old battles. Volstagg challenged Naruto to an eating contest and immediately regretted his life choices. Even Kakashi found himself discussing combat philosophies with Hogun. Eventually the banuquet became quiet as Odin finally appeared.

Kakashi and others hadn't seen him before so it was their first time.

"Sensei this guy is also hiding his eye. Do you think he has Sharingan like you?" Naruto asked. This question made everyone look at Naruto as if he was some of rare idiot.

"You dumb son of a gun.. How can he have Sharingan when none of here had even heard of chakra.." Sakura said.

"Oh! Sakura you have learnt new insults.. Nice.." Rei said. Sakura looked proudful of the fact that Rei had complimented it. She had been watching quite a lot of movies in her spare time. Meanwhile, the All-Father's gaze swept across the gathering before settling on Thor.

"My son." Thor immediately stood. Odin looked at him for several moments.

"You have returned from exile a different man." The hall became even quieter.

"You learned humility where once there was pride. Wisdom where once there was arrogance. You have proven yourself worthy." Thor remained silent.
