June did not care anymore. His life, his being, now had a sole purpose. To not kill, but to mutilate his monstrous bully. He might die; he will die, but the idea of the creature who finally put him down walking around with a limp for its short and pathetic life filled June with dark glee.
So much glee that even with the fluids and taste of rot from the creature's mouth tube leaking into June's mouth, June was cackling like a madman; it sounded more like drowning, but even then his melodic laughter drowned the quiet halls. He felt around his torso with his hand; the terminal shard was intact but even deeper within his body. June didn't care; he clawed at his body with what remaining fingers he had, ripping and gouging his own wound just to rip out the shard and start repeatedly shanking the tube.
June's psychotic laughter got louder and louder, with no hint of pain or sorrow in it, just a twisted glee. He was no fighter, but if someone would kill him, he would thoroughly break them; it didn't matter if that someone was human or not, it would sleep with half its remaining eyes open, waiting for the dead man to come back. June kept stabbing the tube, a thin fluid sprayed out, and residue leaked out. It wasn't enough. It needed to suffer.
June took his broken, mangled arm; every movement sounded like a glowstick crack, but regardless of the concerning noise and the blinding pain, he began to hammer away at his own jaw with his noodle arm. He couldn't care less if the squelching noise came from his arm, his teeth being ripped out, or some other damage to his body. Every gut-wrenching squelch was another win; every second of pain in June's body because of his actions also meant the creature was suffering too.
The glee was almost as infectious as it was eerie; he sounded like a giddy little kid who saw a pony for the first time. He was livid, enjoying every second of it. He felt his jaw and neck being torn back towards the entrance; the monster wanted its proboscis back. Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
It was the unfortunate one this time; it let out a deafening wail as its mouth tube was pulled out without resistance, but when the tube came out of the snow, it was severed, the tube covered in remnants of June's teeth. June stepped out of the snow, carrying the proboscis spear; it was his proboscis now, his spear, his weapon. June's cheek was ripped, exposing his teeth, some missing.
Even though his cheek was ripped horrifically into a half-Glasgow smile, his arms were covered in blood and were twisted and broken in ways that would make the most pain-resistant people cry, and his body was gushing blood like a broken floodgate, the remaining cheek still showed that his Glasgow smile wasn't a forced look. June was having a great time still; pain hurt, but he was not a stranger to discomfort; it could be worse after all, and the scenario he was in…
'This is fun.' Who would have guessed that the baby's first fight would be one to the death? June ran over to the creature, ignoring his own wounds; he looked like a puppet that was given a life and a reason to kill. June's movements were inhuman; the bones that kept some of his body in place were jutting out or shattered, but most of the important muscles remained. He didn't need to confine himself to bones; that would be a waste of his golden opportunity.
The creature's round black eyes betrayed the notion of emotion, but June could smell it. He could smell its fear. While the creature was devastated by the loss of a vital body part, June lunged the spear forward; it was as tall as he was, maybe a bit taller even, so he treated it like a portion of his body and moved it along his axis. Every movement he made was unnatural but made it look like the spear was dragging a corpse along with it instead of the other way around.
The creature's body was resistant, but still the proboscis was stronger as it plunged into the creature's elongated navel. June wrenched the spear down, tearing a hole in its stomach, expecting its digestive tract and organs to fall out. The creature retaliated by shooting its now very evident digestive track out of its mouth. It was an interesting trait to have your digestive tract spurt out of your mouth, let alone have it attached to a proboscis, making it an effective distance weapon.
It was a horrible thing for this creature that its advantageous trait was practically torn off and being used against it. June swiftly dodged between the creature's legs when it shot what remained of its digestive tract out; it was less dangerous since the spear was severed but still had enough power to crack the marble floors. Diving between its legs, June used it as an opportunity to skewer the spear further into the creature's organs.
He heard an audible pop and hoped it was one of the creature's lungs, but he didn't stop there; he kept wrenching the spear as he went past, and it tore out of the creature's stomach after meeting some resistance on the creature's sternum. The creature turned swiftly, staggered midway, and fell. June didn't want to take a chance and jumped at the opportunity sever the creature's neck, but the creature twisted its body, the spear ended up in the creature's bicep, and it was stuck in the marble floor.
The spear was pinning one arm but stuck; the monster was weakened but stronger than June. One of the creature's arms remained, but that alone could kill June. But regardless of his death, June was going to kill the monster.
