All Across the Fourth Floor Hours after Aidan leaves the Fourth Floor"The First Ranker has left the floor," Zryss the Fangsplitter mutters as he taps his new spear on the ground, looking out over the battlefield in front of him. At the swarms of ratkin thieves facing off against his army of orcs.
"And the Fifth Ranker will leave soon too. Or he should. I would." Zryss grinds his teeth in frustration. Because these two aren't the only rankers who have moved onto the next floor. The individual top rankers who aren't a part of any larger force have all left as well. All while Zryss, the Orc King, is still stuck on the fourth floor, waiting to reclaim his spear. But now he's starting to grow more and more impatient.
So, after spending several more hours fighting against the ratkin and their despicable sneaky ways of constantly ambushing them, he eventually decides to give up on the spear for now. At which point he gives out orders for his soldiers to reclaim the spear before finally proceeding to move onto the fifth floor of the Tutorial. And when he enters the middle room, he doesn't bother looking at the result of the fourth floor as he rushes to the fifth floor to catch up with the others who have come before him.
Where he soon finds himself appearing in a large jungle in front of a massive temple inside of the jungle.
"The orcs will become the supreme race," Zryss mutters to himself as he starts walking towards the temple.
"Even if I have to tear apart every other pathetic race to make it happen."
"What?! Tha' green pig fled tha floor?! I knew tha pigs weren' anythin' but cowards!" Redneck the Thirty-First shouts with a wide grin on his face.
"Now tha' we've conquered tha smelly pigs, let us ascend to a new stage!" Cheers echo through the makeshift throne room of the ratkin forces.
"Uh, Redred the Eighty-ninth, wasn' it just tha kingy guy who left to the next floor?" Redneck hears one of the ratkin in the makeshift throne room whispering not-so-quietly to another once again. Redneck immediately slams the end of his beloved spear that he absolutely earned through his own efforts into the ground three times as he shouts, "Let us begin our migration once more! To tha promised lands of loot and spoils!"
"Loooooot!!!!"
"Spoils!"
"Looooot!"
"Spoiiiiils!!!!" This novel's true home is a different platform. Support the author by finding it there. The ratkin king nods his head in satisfaction at the sight before finally accepting the mission completion request and moving onto the next floor. With a significant number of the other ratkin there doing the same. Eventually leaving the throne room relatively empty compared to before.
Except for Ratrat the Tenth, who came to deliver the news and hasn't hit Bronze Tier yet and is now wondering who is going to lead the ratkin on the floor. After several seconds pass, Ratrat climbs onto the throne and shouts for guards to enter the room. Claiming the throne for himself while Redneck is gone. And officially beginning the reign of King Ratrat the Tenth as he openly spreads the totally-not-fake news about how Redneck abandoned the ratkin clans.
"Both the ratkin and orc leaders left the fourth floor?" Akira Fuji mutters, repeating what he just heard in the scout's report.
"Yes, Lord Akira," the scout declares with his hands held firmly behind his completely straightened back.
"And how is that affecting the forces they left behind?" Fuji asks while turning his attention to the nearby voidling passing through their territory after the voidlings' war ended rather anticlimactically.
"The orc forces are completing their king's orders without question," the scout states.
"Thanks to their years under his rule, all of the orcs are terrified of their king and refuse to believe him to ever be gone unless they see his very corpse in front of them."
"That'll be a problem after the Tutorial…" Fuji mutters before turning his attention away from the voidling and back to his sword as he continues sharpening it in preparation for his next hunt.
"The ratkin forces were not left any orders and are simply doing as they please," the scout explains.
"However, attempts have been made to claim the ratkin throne. Many attempts." Fuji nods his head, having already expected that himself.
"But none of the attempts have been successful," the scout continues.
"The first ratkin who attempted it had all of his belongings, including the throne he tried to claim, stolen from him within the hour of trying to claim the throne. The second ratkin who tried had everything all the way down to his clothes stolen. And the third even had the fur on his body stolen somehow. After twenty-eight attempts, the ratkin all agreed that the only one fit for the throne was Redneck, who always managed to block theft attempts by his own people."
Fuji blinks before turning his head to stare at the scout. And he's not alone as the other people in the room hearing the reports stare in shock as well. But Fuji eventually shakes his head, deciding that it's better not to ask. Then he stands up and declares, "I will be moving onto the fifth floor soon now that the other forces' leaders are. So keep things in check for me while I'm gone."
"Yes, Lord Akira." Everyone in the room declares simultaneously. And just like that, Fuji accepts the mission completion, enters the middle room, and then proceeds to the fifth floor. Where he finds himself in front of a grand Japanese style palace. His own personalized fifth floor. One after another, like a trail of dominos, various leaders of different factions begin to leave the fourth floor. Followed soon after by their elite forces.
Thereby drastically changing the situation of the various wars on the fourth floor. But instead of focusing solely on winning their individual wars, the forces spread across the fourth floor merely fight until they reach Bronze Tier. Then they themselves begin to advance to the fifth floor. Ending the major conflicts between the different species of the Tutorial in an unexpected way for many.
