Everyone laughed at Liz's reaction to the ice cream she had been eating with fervor. After Lucas greeted his family, we all decided to have a late lunch since our sightseeing took a bit longer than we thought it would. For some reason, even though I gave them the day off, Emily and Ruby were also here to enjoy the lunch... And somehow, Charlotte ended up here as well.

I didn't mind since Jim said he had already planned for "quite a few people" to show up, so I shouldn't pay it much mind. I found it difficult to argue with him as he headed back to the kitchen to cook while letting out a slight chuckle. While Jim and everyone else who were already used to Charlotte's presence in the mansion, the Mori Family were not." Yes, Liz, you need to mind your manners a bit more..." Les was glancing back and forth at Liz and a smiling Charlotte.

I turned to see that Maria had just taken another forkful of strawberry shortcake. It looks like she's a big fan of the cake. Les was a little less fanatic, but judging by the fact he cleared the small pizza that was served to him for lunch, perhaps he's just more of a savory fan than sweet? It's possible... Maybe I should look into making coffee flavored ice cream? Something to think about another day.

For now, I was simply showing the 4 members of the Mori Family some of the cuisine I'll be introducing to Blackstone and the other towns in time. Right now, they're a special item for Paradise. And I've heard nothing but good things from the Mori Family so far. The reason why I've decided to hold back on teaching anyone outside of Paradise how to make things like pasta and pizza is down to one simple fact, Demons aren't used to the flavors that dairy products provide.

So, for right now, I've only introduced ice cream, milk and cheese along with cheesecake, since I wanted to give the idea that they should try combining different savory and sweet flavors together. Granted, they only have a limited amount for now, since we've yet to work out a resupply schedule for the towns, but we'll find all that out in time." Hapu.... Hapu.... Hapu..."" Looks like she didn't listen." Sarah turned to me as she looked at Liz continuing to eat her ice cream without a care in the world."

It's not like she's the only one, right? I seem to recall someone asking me to heal them of their headaches the first few times they had ice cre-" press... Sarah quickly swiped some of the apple from her slice of apple pie and shoved it into my mouth with haste. She and Anna have taken to using their enhanced abilities that have come from their Jobs to do things like this whenever I have them on the back foot verbally, while I could find it somewhat annoying if it was someone else, it's being done by my bashful Wives who're acting so cutely. There's no way I could be mad about it. However, as I chewed the apple pie, I couldn't help but think about the taste...

There's a bit too much cinnamon in it for my taste... Maybe Jim made it more for a Demon's palate? I'll see if it was just a mistake, or something done to appeal to a Demon's tastes later. Sarah gestured to my own slice of pie. I was going to eat it, until Liz had her hit of brain freeze, she seems to be doing okay now. I guess I should eat the pie, it'd be a shame to waste it, the vanilla ice cream is melting now as well. I began to eat my slice while enjoying the conversation happening around me, it looked like everyone at the table was having a good time.

Les and Maria were enjoying a conversation with all of their kids and occasionally interjecting that with questions for me, mostly Emma asked me them. I guess Les hasn't shared his findings from Lucas with her yet? Charlotte, Emily and Ruby all seemed to be able to blend into the conversation as well, even though most of the time, they acted as background characters like Sarah and I do so Anna could enjoy her time with her family.

I suppose that's everyone's goal right now, just letting Anna enjoy her time with her family. Eventually, lunch had ended, with that, I was asked by Les and Maria if everyone could do some light exercise to work off the food. I didn't mind and My Wives and I led our group to the training grounds on my property." So, who should spar with who is going to be the question, I guess?"

After everyone had finished stretching and grabbed their training weapons of choice, we all met back in the middle of the grounds and Maria stated the obvious." Yes, how should we pick them then?" Les was next to speak as he didn't seem to have a good way to choose. There were a few ways we could go about this, but I decided that my way would be the easiest.

I quickly used some of my mana in my closed hand and used a spell that Lily had told me I had access to back when she was helping me with the farming situation for Paradise." Here, let me sort it out." I quickly used the Spell called Seed Generation to summon 10 seeds of 5 different flowers." Everyone take a seed, please."" You can summon seeds?"" Because I'm a Summoner, Emma."

Emma looked at me with disbelief, and Liz looked at me with the look of someone missing out on something fun, I quickly generated a seed just for her." Here you go."" But Mom and Dad said I can only practice my swings right now?"" That doesn't mean you can't have a seed, who knows, maybe your seed is special?" I raised my eyebrows a few times to show that it was all in good fun, Liz's eyes seemed to show that the gesture isn't something that's normal to Diablos." That's a weird look, Jo- Matthew..."

It looks like that conversation about my name is going to be happening sooner than I thought at this rate. Thankfully, Emily, Ruby and the Guards for today, Kana and Mia, didn't hear Liz's words. Otherwise, things would be really awkward. I should be a little stricter with Liz and tell her parents about this, but she knew she made a slight mistake, I guess Les and Maria explained to her about my name being a secret?" With Liz's agreement, I walked back to the group and began to explain what was about to happen." Okay, so in a second, I'm going to make the seeds sprout into their flowers, those with matching flowers can spar together, okay?" Everyone nodded their heads and so I did exactly that with another Spell called Maturation. I can remember these Spells as they are, but I wonder how I'm supposed to keep track of them all inside my Status? I wonder if someone even can?

With such thoughts in my head, I quickly feel the seed in my own hand sprout. /Pop! / With the popping sound that sounded similar to a magician's trick from my world, everyone looked at what they received. Sarah and Charlotte were paired up, their flowers were both basil. Ruby was paired with Maria, they had daisies. Anna and Les were paired together with a pair of aloe vera. Emily was paired with Lucas with lavender, and I was paired with Emma with a matching set of coriander.

A strange mix sure, but not the worse." Ah! Look at this!" Liz's voice called out to us, her seed was a bit "special" as everyone was about to find out." It's so pretty!" Liz was excited by the bouquet of multi-colored roses in her hands. I thought it would be the surprise that would leave her feeling ready for her training and it seems I was right... I ignored the fact that Sarah and Anna were looking envious of Liz, however. Something tells me, I'll be making this up to them tonight.
