Just as I was getting worried about what would happen next, the mana settled into becoming spears, 12 purple and black Mana Spears had formed all around Sarah. They all then formed a line each that connected to Sarah's waist and then the lines split themselves and interconnected to each other's lines creating a thin circle around Sarah's waist, like her personal space was personified with sharp Mana Spears. 5 of the spears dug into the ground, which is what all of those loud clanging noises were from.

Sarah on the other hand, finally stood back up and looked at her enemy as the spears seemed to burrow themselves underground." How adorable!" The God Of The Blackwoods laughed at Sarah standing back u- / RUMBLE! SWOOSH! / All of a sudden, 4 spears shot out of the ground, but they're carrying something? Ah! It's black plants, and not a small amount, each spear is taller than Sarah and they each have around 10 different plants all stacked on top of each other.

They've fallen down the spears' shafts like dead bodies placed on pikes." Oh? You didn't like my vines, did you? What a shame you missed a few... Like those!" /RUMBLE! CRACK! / 4 large black vines burst out of the ground and rushed their tips toward Sarah's back. /SHING! SHING! SHING! SHING! Thump! / And each of them were cut down in no time at all by the Mana Spears that surrounded her. No, "cut" would be the wrong word, they were ravaged by the spears. As if it were a pack of wolves attacking the vines.

And since then, like a child throwing a tantrum, he's only gotten louder and more hysterical. While he was screaming his lungs out, Sarah didn't even move really, the spears around her were sitting still as undisturbed water.

But I could see that she was about to change that, her mana began to move around her, like a raging black and purple flame. It grew more and more discordant, until it became unnaturally still. Then, I saw Sarah bend her knees. /THOOM! / She was gone from my vision just like that, and when I found her again, she was fighting with the God Of The Deadwoods. /CLANG! CLANG! / Sarah's halberd and that sickening sword began to clash more and more.

Sarah's halberd began to glow a malignant purple and black with what looked like red lightning crackling around it. The Mana Spears still stayed in the ground. I could only imagine that they were still forming in some way. But my thoughts were cut in half as I noticed the fight had begun to come my way. /CLANG! CLANG! CLANG! / As their clashes grew more and more intense, they continued to barrel down the path to the tree I was behind.

As I began to silently powerwalk away, I heard our enemy's voice ring out in a laugh that seemed as if someone had broken glass somewhere close by." Hahahahaha! What is this!? To think you've received such a boost to your abilities! This has been a fun game, but it's simply not good enough, girl! You're going to die here, just like that Paladin will!"" RAAARRRRRHHHHH!"

A wrathful scream poured out of Sarah as she took her next swing, the mana around her seemed to grow more and more dense as the fight had gone on, but from this distance, I could tell from her face that her rage was growing with each swing of her sword. Her face resembled a wild starving monster that had finally bitten the neck of her prey. Her face was so twisted in rage that I wondered how she hadn't broken her teeth from how hard she was biting down on them.

They continued my way, but I was firmly out of their pathway, so I figured I would be okay. I simply prayed that Sarah wouldn't hurt herself from all of this. /RUMBLE! CRACK! / Just as I finished my small prayer, a familiar sound carried a fear of a black plant harming my Big Sis, I looked at where the sound had come from, prepared to jump in and save Sarah from a devastating attack, but to my surprise, the holes were small, and there were many of them. If I had to guess, 12 in all." What!?" /BANG! THUMP! STAB!

/ It was the Mana Spears, they had broken through the ground near Sarah and the God Of The Blackwoods and all 12 of them attacked Sarah's enemy. To my surprise, the spears were still in the ground, Sarah had stretched them underground. She must've brought the fight this way so to surprise the God. Did she plan this? Or was this instinct? Either way, the 12 spears had made contact with the God. And the outcome was surprising. /DRIP!

/ Some of the spears had hit the armor he was wearing, but around 5 of them landed on the God's flesh and pierced his skin deeply. The dripping sound that I heard, was music to my ears, the God Of The Blackwoods was bleeding, heavily. For the first time tonight, Sarah finally damaged him for real.
