His father's eyes continue to bother me as they look at me with a mixture of confusion and what seemed like a hint of callousness? I noticed that his plate seemed to barely have any of the cake or ice cream touched at all. Not a big fan, I guess? Would've been useful to ask why, but honestly, just standing next to this guy is giving me stronger feelings of chills and goosebumps. What the hell is up with him?"

Some of the kids' voices I heard a bit clearer than the men and women who just seemed confused. The kids appeared to reveal what they and their parents actually thought of the food. I guess the idea that Humans are all unanimously bad is a stereotype that will take time to break. Hopefully, this is a step in the right direction. But all of my thoughts left my head as I returned to my table and felt the warm stares of the only 2 Demons whose opinion of me I actually care about.
