The room fell silent as a loud buzzer sounded.
"Look, I have really got to get that." Elena said to Seraphina and Celestia.
"We will finish this at another time. Think about what I said, it's only a theory, but it is one I think is worth investigating."
"Yeah, it can't hurt and considering we have little or no…" Seraphina was cut off by the buzzer again.
"I hate to do this, but I really have to go get that." Elena said, darting out of the room and into the control room. Her eyes quickly adjusted from the dimness of the hall to bright lights of the control room. The cool air of the control room was a blessing on her warm skin as she dashed to the workstation and checked the monitor.
"Mikale?" she mumbled.
"Why is he calling? This can't be good." She hurriedly put the earpiece in her ear then pressed the talk button before speaking.
"Mikale?" she asked.
"Yeah, it's me." He said in a voice she could barely hear.
"Is it done?" He asked, a twinge of panic in his voice.
"We're working on it." Elena answered, looking through the doorway to the group still seated at the conference room table eating dinner.
"Okay, but operation blind as a bat's window is closing, you have twelve hours left, I recommend you do what needs to be done and do it quickly." he said, his voice low and urgent.
"Got it." Elena said firmly.
"We may have a destination, but it's not definite.
"Be careful," she cautioned before disengaging and getting up. She walked into the conference room; all eyes turned to her. She walked back into the lounge, immediately noticing the temperature change. It felt almost balmy compared to the control room. She made a mental note to reprogram the habitat module to account for the additional people in the building. She heard Celestia discussing her revelation that maybe Sheera, Rowan and Thai should be moved to the dwarven realm, with Seraphina.

"I just got off the communicator with our mole inside Blackwood's lab and we need to step things up. You two ladies need to make a decision rather quickly. We only have about twelve hours before Blackwood's teleport is back up and running. We cannot risk facing a bunch of Blackwood's goons while trying to move them to another realm unnoticed. We have to do this while his system is offline.
"I still think the safest place is going to be the dwarven realm," Celestia said, with conviction.
"Why because you connected an obscure line to that stupid so-called prophecy? Celestia, we have no idea if that's what that line even means. We have no idea what any of it means." Seraphina said, crossing her arms.
"You got a better idea?" Celestia said, her face turning red.
"Okay slow down," Elena said.
"There is no need for this to turn into an argument. Seraphina, unless you have a better suggestion, why not the dwarven realm?"
"Well, for starters, we can't just up and move anyone. The entire fairy teleport system is locked, remember? The last time I heard the teleport here can only teleport us to Fairy Central and from there you have to take one of the fairy portals to another realm. Is that not the case anymore?" Seraphina replied to Elena who nodded in agreement.
"I mean, I know in an emergency situation we can teleport back in using the device, but that doesn't get anyone out. Correct?" Seraphina said.
"Yes, that is correct," Elena replied.
"So, that means it's really not up to us. We have to sit down with Jasper and work this out. If they are going to go to the dwarven realm for any type of stay, there is paperwork and permissions that need to be obtained. The dwarf king would not exactly take too kindly to a group of fugitives…"
"They're not criminal Seph, anymore than we are!" Celestia interjected.
"No, Celestia, they're not, but they are being hunted, just like we are. How do you think the dwarven realm, or any other realm for that matter, would react to us bringing that kind of turmoil to their domain?" Seraphina explained.
"I think that one or both of us need to get to fairy central and talk to Jasper to see what he can do about this. Who knows, maybe the dwarven realm would work. The truth is I don't know."
"That's reasonable. Do things the right way and things will go smoothly. If we don't get the appropriate paperwork granting them some sort of asylum, then that is just begging for problems later on," Elena said.
"Thank you." Seraphina said, shaking her head at Celestia.
"See, she gets it… question is do you?"
"I'm not dumb, you just didn't explain it. It just seemed that you were being difficult because I came up with it. I'm sorry I got so…"
"Yeah, me too." Seraphina interrupted Celestia.
"I should have explained instead of snap. I'm sorry too."
"Great!" Elena added.
"I'm glad everyone is sorry. Now we need to get the wheels in motion or we will never get them out of here."
