On a random Wednesday morning, Alchemists all over the world received a sudden notification. [A new record for your class has been set on Floor 1!] It truly came out of nowhere. No one expected it, not the people who had been working all night, not the people who were about to start the day, and certainly not the people who were about to go to bed. Many were shocked by the sudden notification and most were confused. They had never received a notification like this from the tower. And for one simple reason.

Though a simple achievement, the requirements for it were nothing but. To achieve this, you had to rank in the top 10 on a floor. And it only counted your first clear while using your own means. For example, a leather worker couldn't just purchase explosives from somewhere and use those to get this achievement. For a production class like alchemist to achieve this achievement was nothing short of a surprise. This was an announcement practically meant for the combat classes; No production class had achieved this.

First, for those who don't know me, I am Allen Millet, the analyst in the French guild, Le Boulot. I'm an A-rank Analyst and often work with the tower association. An Alchemist from our guild is helping me with the technical knowledge needed. So, to start off, we see a black silhouette—Raccoon. They're using the anonymous function so we can't identify them, but from the outline we can make out a lot of details. The most obvious and clear thing we know is that they're short—And this isn't me making fun of them or anything. If we look here, that boulder they're standing behind is close to the Floor 1 starting location. That rock's around 100 cm tall and wide. With simple math we can deduce that Raccoon is around the 140's in height. Whether this confirms that they're young or it's genetics, we don't know. Next, we can see the silhouette's hair flowing freely. Now we know that they have long hair. When Raccoon crouches down behind the boulder, we see what looks like her clothing's gravity get affected—Likely a skirt. So, there's about an 85% chance that Raccoon is a woman. And with one of my skills, I can see that Raccoon is a new climber who awakened less than two months ago. To summarize, Raccoon is likely a young woman with her height in the 140's and a new awakener. Next, let's look at the part you're most likely interested in: The potions. So, at the start we see Raccoon holding two small bottles, you would think these are the only two potions used in the video, right? Wrong. With one of my skills I can see the active buffs and debuffs of someone—Even in anonymous mode. These are the buffs Raccoon had by the time the video started. [Your skin toughens.] (+15% defense; Time remaining: 24: 59) [You feel a little faster.] (+15% movement speed; Time remaining: 24: 58) [You feel a little stronger.] (+15% strength; Time remaining: 24: 57) [You feel a little more focused.] (+15 concentration; Time remaining: 24: 56) [Your perception increases.] (+15% reaction speed; Time remaining: 24: 55) These potions should be E+ grade with those effects. It's unconfirmed whether or not they've made these themselves or bought on the exchange. But, it's likely the former; As explained by my alchemist friend, "We know how to make all of these potions, but we don't know how to make the perception and concentration potion at an E+ grade." That's not to say they can't do it, but rather it's not worth doing at their level. For someone like Raccoon, a new climber, it's definitely worth concocting for cost-effectiveness. Now, onto the real meat and butter. The explosion potions! I'll let my alchemist friend explain from here: Just what the hell did they make? They're using two components in this explosion—The reactant and catalyst. From sight alone, it's impossible to tell what went into these liquids. But with one of my skills, I can vaguely know some of the creation process. The first liquid—The reactant, starts with distilling something. And then… Mixing and boiling… Calcination? Infusion? I don't even know what materials they could have possible used to create this. The second liquid—The catalyst starts with thermal decomposition… Yeah, I can't figure this out without the actual substance in front of me. Anyway, this is a highly dangerous potion they've made. Though, it seems to have a few built-in safeguards. It doesn't look like one will work without the other, so, even if someone does figure out how to make one of the liquids, they'd still need to make the other. I'd love to talk to them and discuss some things. And that's how my alchemist friend explained it! If we had the actual potions in front of us, we'd be able to explain it a bit more in depth! Onto the aftereffects of the potion… The goblins were completely blown up and killed instantly. You can see multiple craters left behind like drops of liquid—I reckon that the more volume of the reactant there is, the bigger the explosion. Which could be extremely dangerous if brought into the wrong hands. The world awakener association and governments probably already have people searching for Raccoon simply to make sure that recipe doesn't leak to terrorist organizations. So! Raccoon! We don't know if they just got lucky or if they're truly valuable yet."" Someone who can make an explosive like that before even entering the first floor—Do you think that alone isn't enough?"" As the only production class on the leaderboard, I raised my shoulders with pride. Anyway, it was a B-ranked trait, that in itself was a cause for celebration. Though a little annoying, it couldn't be more useful. It'd make creating my own recipes so much easier! At the small price of having to start over my learning again… Grr. [Would you like to enter the next floor? Y/N] [Time Remaining on floor: 58: 29] Though I was overflowing with confidence, I wasn't filled with stupidity. As much as I'm sure my dynokali potions could kill the second floor monsters easily, I didn't want to risk it. Plus, if I were to go to the next floor, I wouldn't be allowed back on Floor 1. I could challenge the first floor nine more times before being forced to the second floor. And, there should be a lot of materials in the forest behind me! I need to collect them all! But first, I should let my alchemy friends know that I'm a pro!
