[Entering Floor 2] [We wish you luck.] The fresh scent of grass filled the air. Floor's 2 terrain was no different than floor 1. In fact, that was a common factor for the early floors. Apparently there's like a region system or something? At least that's what the internet said. Floors 1-10 will be in the same location and floors 11-20 will have the same location as well. Taking in a deep breath of air, I calmed myself and got to my favorite rock—aptly named Rocky. What can I say?

Rocky was extremely reliable and sturdy. Tall too. I bet all the other rocks fan over him. [0: 11] I took a deep breath and stood up. In just 10 more seconds, 10 hideous goblins will be spawning. Double the number from the first floor. Ah… I'm nervous.

Even though I know how powerful my explosions are, it's still scary. 10 creatures charging at me with the intent to kill. Who wouldn't be scared?

"Right… Focus." I nodded. I watched as the goblins materialized into existence. Part of me wondered if I could trap their spawn point. If I use a gluetrap potion to make it so they can't move, wouldn't that be so much safer? I could go a step further and make it flammable to easily take them down without even having to use a dynokali potion. Shaking my head, I temporarily pushed aside those thoughts. I can think about future plans if I survive this.

Just like on the first floor, these goblins spotted me almost instantly after smelling the air. Did I stink or something? They immediately started charging towards me.

"Just have to do the same thing as I did before…" I mumbled, waiting until the got within range.

"Hup!" The dynokali potion flew through the air in a large arc. A few drops of liquid spilt over the top and onto the grass but the bottle itself maintained most of the liquid as it landed a few feet in front of the group. I ducked behind Rocky and drew my dagger. BOOM! "Wahahaha!" I was overfilled with confidence. I could challenge the third floor and snag a rank there instantly! If I didn't want to gather materials on this floor, I may have just done so. Honestly, aren't potions just overpowered? At this rate, couldn't I reach the 50th floor with just dynokali potions? Oh, I bet the awakener gallery is on fire right now. There all probably like 'Raccoon did it again!' or 'This is the era of alchemists' or something like that!

"Hehe!" While I was lost in my delusions, the rewards had finished calculating. The 2, 000 points were simply because I cleared the floor. Even on the first floor, I received 1, 000 points every clear. The interesting part was the skill tokens.

I read about these when skimming through a starter guide for the tower. Skill tokens are the main way people can obtain skills; They range from bronze grade tokens all the way to rainbow grade. They basically change the probability of getting a higher rank skill based on the tier of your tokens. I don't know the math behind it, nor does the internet. But put simply, the more higher grade tokens you gather, the better the chance of getting a good skill or trait.

By the way, it goes: Bronze, silver, gold, platinum, diamond, rainbow. Well, I can't be too disappointed with these rewards. It is a bit much to ask for a B-rank skill or trait on every floor. In fact, this is quite a good reward. Apparently, the usual reward for a first clear on these low floors is a single bronze-grade skill token.

"Haah." I cracked my knuckles. The goblin corpses had completely disappeared. Must've been blown to kingdom come. Lucky me, I don't have to see those hideous things that smell like rot. I'll get used to them eventually—just not today. Or likely the next. Who even wants to get used to seeing monster corpses? Sounds disgusting. On that note, I headed into the familiar forest to search for rare materials. …

"It'd be kind of like a fun surprise, no?" I decided to just list it on the exchange and get some points from it. … After my hour was up, I was back in my bathroom. I usually enter the tower from here since I always get dirty after climbs.

"I'm pretty." I nodded. Hm…Today I was feeling a little reluctant to just continue my usual schedule. Did I have anything important to do? Shower, games, and the gallery?

"Let's go back in." I wasn't limited to beating one floor a day. I just usually did so. But, maybe I was still overflowing with energy from my first clear. I felt like using another bomb. "Hm… I don't think I did anything wrong this time?" I didn't cover my ears and I didn't fall to the ground. I waited patiently for the explosion to go off, and if by chance they survived, I was ready to make another move. So, I posted to the gallery. [Cleared the second floor! I hadn't felt the need to create a debuff or environmental potion. Plus, one of the ingredients is slime mucus which I was reluctant to use. But, I'm impulsive and really wanted to create a gluetrap potion. Modifying it would come later, for now, I just wanted to have it. So, I purchased the materials from the exchange."
