His own teacher, Braham, had stolen his life's work and published it under his own name. Braham had taken all the glory, while Mumud died quietly of a weak heart. So this is what it feels like to be appreciated, Mumud thought.

The old, heavy resentment in his chest felt just a little bit lighter. Rudra tapped his staff against the floor, lost in thought. Up until now, Rudra hadn't taught his [Mana Heart] skill to anyone. He hadn't even done it to Kratos.
