"I have an ability to travel to both of the worlds when I wish for it." Rei replied.

"Oh! That sounds fascinating. But I presume there is more to it." Frigga asked. She was a witch and thus knew all abilities that were as broken as this child named Rei's was, it must have some sort of mechanism that had control over it, or some sort of bindings.

"Yes there is." Rei admitted.

"Oh! Then Rei tell us. We would like to travel to your place too and know more." Thor by now totally was in fascination and was already dreaming of going to a new place and meet new warriors.

"Uh.." Rei didn't know how to douse the fire of this man. He just couldn't tell it openly about the contract and his magic. Because he wasn't sure how everyone would perceive that. Frigga saw the hesitation and his inability to find the words.

"I think our guest deserves a banquet rather than speak of his world and his magic. How about we have one and can discuss on his powers later. After all, it is the great warrior here who helped us catch your brother and put an end to this meaningless hostility." Rei sighed in relief when Frigga spoke those words. This woman was really knowledgeable and could read the room in an instant. No wonder she was able to guess that Thor was from future. Thor and others meanwhile were delighted hearing about a banquet.

Thor especially was starving for some Asgardian food after staying for a long time, and there rest too believed that they needed to rejoice for the return of the Prince.

"Thank you." Rei bowed down a bit for this hospitality. The conversation should have ended there. Everyone was already preparing to leave the royal hall and head toward the banquet chambers. Thor was already speaking excitedly with Volstagg about food while Fandral was boasting that Asgardian feasts were unmatched anywhere in the Nine Realms. Then Rei suddenly remembered something.

"Actually..." Rei spoke. That immediately made Odin and Frigga look back toward him.

"There is something I would like to ask." Odin gestured for him to continue.

"If it is acceptable, I would like to invite a few friends from my world to visit Asgard." Thor's eyes immediately lit up.

"The shinobi?"

"Yes." Thor looked genuinely excited.

"Can they fight?"

"Thor." Lady Sif sighed.

"What? It is an important question." Volstagg laughed loudly.

"I wish to meet these mountain-destroying warriors."

"And I wish to hear their stories." Fandral added. Even Hogun looked mildly interested. Frigga meanwhile seemed more fascinated by a different aspect.

"I would like to speak with their healers and understand this chakra." Odin remained silent for several moments. His fingers lightly tapped against the armrest of his throne as he considered the request. Bringing visitors from another universe into Asgard was not a small matter. Yet the opportunity to observe such individuals firsthand was equally valuable. The author's tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon. Finally, the All-Father nodded.

"You may invite them." Thor looked happier than Rei himself.

"Excellent!"

"But," Odin continued, causing everyone to quiet down, "they shall be guests of Asgard and under its protection while they remain here."

"Of course." Rei immediately agreed. He understood what Odin meant by that. He was basically telling him not to bring nuisance to his kingdom, which was acceptable as he, like the rest the Kings, wouldn't like disruptors around.

"I too would like to meet people from this other universe." The words did put smile on the face of Rei. Rei suddenly imagined Naruto running through the golden streets of Asgard, Sakura trying to act normal while secretly freaking out, and Sasuke pretending not to be impressed by anything while staring at every piece of ancient Asgardian architecture.

"Thank you for the permission," and with those words he went out with Thor and others, where he was assigned to show him his quarters and also the quarters for the arrival of his friends. Thor wanted to know more about Rei and asked questions, which Rei patiently answered. Meanwhile, only two remained in the royal hall after they left.

"I didn't expect you to allow some foreigners to step on Asgard." Frigga smiled a bit as she said that.

"Asgard has held meetings with many races before too. It wouldn't be the first time."

"Asgard had not done that in hundreds of years." Frigga said. This made Odin silent for a bit as he looked up at the ceiling showing how great their civilization was and how many peace treaties he had done over the years to achieve years of peace and prosperity. He knew that all of this was a sham and a coverup to the actual history. He felt a bit ashamed that he was trying to cover up history but that was the best he could do to achieve peace. He finally replied.

"Asgard is going to face a crisis soon, and it needs more allies, now more than ever." Frigga sighed as she too knew what Odin meant. She didn't have a solution to the impending doom and just prayed that they would be strong enough to survive what was prophesied.

The moment Rei was back home, the difference between Asgard and Konoha nearly gave him whiplash. Instead of golden halls and immortal warriors, he was greeted by the familiar sight of sleepy civilians opening shops while the early morning sun slowly rose above the village walls.

"... Much better." Rei came down to the main living room only to find his father arranging his ninja scrolls and tools. Daichi's eyebrow raised when he saw his son coming down.

"Son, you have been away for quite some time."

"Yes, and I found a very interesting place. You have a mission now?" Rei asked.

"Oh! You seem quite excited. Would love to see your so called interesting place but sadly duty calls." Daichi said. Rei got a bit sad as he hoped that his parents would go with him. He already knew that his mother would be out for work, so that would mean his parents wouldn't be able to visit Asagrd for now. But that was fine. Next time! After saying goodbye to his parents, he went straight to the Training Ground. As expected, Naruto was there. And so was Jiraya and Sasuke.

He had already called up Sakura and Kakashi through his contract with them. The half contract allow him to send simple messages so it was easy for Rei to just use them and ask them to gather in a common place, which right now was the Training ground. Naruto looked frustrated. This was early morning and still seeing the frustration of Naruto, Rei could already guess that his training was coming out as a failure. Rei remembered that first jutsu Jiraya had taught Naruto was the summoning.

So he wasn't surprised that his initial summoning was a tadpole. Meanwhile Sasuke was someone who had managed to show Rei quite the surprise. As he walking towards the them, he saw Sasuke's long strands of black hair suddenly shot forward like spears and smashed into a training post. BOOOOM. The wooden post exploded.

"... You actually learned that." Rei murmured. The hair manipulation technique Jiraiya had shown him was apparently something Sasuke had become interested in, when he wasn't around. Considering his obsession with versatility and control, Rei could actually understand why. So no Senjutsu?

"Hey Rei.. You are here. Take me away. I can't deal with this pervy sage." Naruto shouted as he saw Rei coming in. Naruto had been complaining the last couple of days because of his own failure and wanted to go back to that other world. Of course he couldn't speak those words with Jiraya around, so it was more frustrating for him. Meanwhile, Sasuke was more than happy with Jiraya. This guy gave him a versatile technique which he was getting increasingly good at.

This was more than he expected, and he even promised him if he could master the hair manipulation, he would teach him a better technique which was far more lethal. Actually, Sasuke was also offered the summoning contract too. But he refused for two reasons. He was warned about the chakra consumption and also because he didn't like frogs in general. He viewed them as slow and Sasuke wanted to be a bird, not a frog in the well.

"You can't even learn a proper summoning jutsu, and you have the gall to complain?" Rei said as he looked at the bigger tadpole that this guy had summoned.

"Hey. You don't know my hardships. You don't even have a contract. I bet that if you learn this you will summon smaller frog than mine." Naruto said. This made Jiraya look at Naruto as if he was an idiot. Sasuke who had just completed one round of attack with his hair looked like Naruto had again spewed bullshit. Even Jiraya, who had spent the least time with Rei knew what Naruto was saying was some prime bullshit. He had heard and seen enough to know how different and powerful Rei was.
