BOOOOOOM. Half the street got destroyed by that attack alone. Less than a second later Rei appeared on a rooftop nearly fifty meters away. If before everyone had horror written on their faces, now that had been replaced by pure surprise. What else was this guy hiding? The Destroyer turned towards Rei, as if it wasn't surprised by that move. In hindsight, Loki who was controlling this was the only one who had seen him teleport before.

"What?" Volstagg blinked.

"Did he just teleport?" Lady Sif asked. Rei was heaving a bit at this point. Taking on that shot would have been a game over for him. He might be very durable, but not laser protection kinda durable. Taking that beam directly would have been incredibly stupid, so he had to move away to the kunai which he had spread out before he started fighting. MInato did, so why would he not. But the Destroyer didn't seem to be over him a bit as Loki was particularly angry with this lad.

Rei knew he was being targeted and he was fine with it. He was treating the whole thing as an exercise. The battle continued for several more minutes and things only got worse. The Asgardians were getting injured by now and they could hardly fight now. Eventually Rei was now out of options. All this time he was wishing Thor would wake up but it seemed a smack at the head was required anyways. But he wasn't going to give up just because Thor needed to follow the canon and Rei himself wasn't out of options.

He had been practicing one jutsu excessively for the last few days when he was in New York. It was time to use it. Golden chains suddenly erupted behind him. Everyone froze.

"What now? Chains made of gold? No wonder they are rich. He just shits gold." Darcy was incredibly jealous now. She was now more hell bent to learn what Rei's sorcery. The chains shot forward like living serpents.

"Kongō Fūsa." The Adamantine Chains wrapped around the Destroyer's arms, torso and legs instantly. BOOOOOOM. The construct stopped moving. The ground cracked beneath it. The chains trembled violently and some of them even went through the body construct of the Destroyer, showing how lethal they were. The Destroyer struggled violently but every movement only caused the chains to tighten further. Rei meanwhile wasn't having a pleasant time.

His hands trembled slightly while enormous amounts of chakra were being consumed every second. This was his first real battle usage of the technique and controlling something as powerful as the Destroyer wasn't easy at all. No wonder, only the Uzumaki clan learned this technique and became their unique points. This couldn't be executed casually by others.

"Come on..." Rei muttered. The chains tightened again. CRACK. One chain snapped. Then another. He was embarrassed internally. He needed to better control this technique and it would take time. The Destroyer moved half a step forward. The expression on Rei's face immediately darkened.

"... Yeah. That's not good." The Warriors Three looked horrified. This thing had survived everything they threw at it and now it was slowly breaking free from something that had managed to stop it completely. Then suddenly everyone heard footsteps. Thor. "No..." Jane whispered. Thor ignored her. His face carried none of the arrogance he once possessed. No pride. No ego. No desire for glory.. Nothing. Rei noticed him immediately. And for the first time since the battle started, he stopped trying to think of another solution. Because he knew what was coming. Thor walked directly toward the Destroyer.

"Brother.." Thor said.

"This was my arrogance." He said while continuing walking.

"This was my mistake." More cracks appeared on the chains as new chains still formed and tried to reel him back in.

"I brought this upon my friends." Thor said.

"So take my life."

"But leave them out of this." The Destroyer immediately raised its head.

"No!" Jane screamed.

"THOR!" Sif shouted. The faceplate opened and fired. BOOOOOOOOOOM. The attack struck Thor directly. The entire street exploded. The shockwave knocked everyone backward. Jane fell to her knees and Darcy couldn't speak. The Warriors Three stood frozen. Even Rei was a bit skeptical now. Had he derailed the story? It was supposed to be a smack, not a full heat blast. Thor's body landed motionlessly on the ground. Silence consumed the town. And then the Destroyer moved again. Its head slowly rotated.

And it was towards Rei.

"... Seriously?" Rei sighed tiredly. The faceplate opened once more. The glow began gathering. Rei prepared another Hiraishin. And maybe call some backup, because this was getting ridiculous. Then suddenly— Something moved. Few kilometers away from the town. The hammer that had laid quietly under the watchful eyes of SHIELD suddenly came to life by itself. The hammer trembled with a sound of lightning in the clouds that seemed to have been generated out of nowhere.

And it took few more moments before it launched itself into the sky. BOOOOOOM. The sonic boom echoed across the heavens. Everyone looked upward. A silver streak tore through the clouds like a falling star. And for the first time since arriving on Earth... Mjolnir had answered its master's call. The silver streak crossed the sky so fast that nobody could properly follow it. One moment it was kilometers away and the next it crashed into Thor's outstretched hand. BOOOOOOM. Lightning exploded across the entire town.

Dark clouds gathered overhead instantly. The wind itself seemed to come alive. The ground trembled beneath everyone's feet while arcs of electricity danced wildly around the man who had been lying motionless moments ago. Thor rose. And this time he was in full armor and not as the banished prince in exile but as the God of Thunder, sorry, God of Hammer.

"Oh thank god." Rei sighed in relief.

"I was about to start calling reinforcements." The Destroyer immediately turned toward Thor. Thor looked at it calmly. Then the hammer spun. BOOOOOOM. A bolt of lightning descended from the heavens and slammed directly into the Destroyer. The construct staggered backward with that attack alone and if anyone could see the eyes of Rei, one would see endless greed. This was what he was here for. That power. Even half of his body strength would allow him things that would surpass Captain America too.

Meanwhile Rei immediately moved and vanished. The next moment he appeared above the Destroyer. Of course, he had laid a mark on his head while fighting him previously. His hands slammed together.

"Doton: Yomi Numa!" [Earth Release: Swamp of the Underworld] The ground beneath the Destroyer instantly softened and transformed into a gigantic swamp. The metal construct sank slightly. That tiny opening was all Thor needed. Mjolnir smashed directly into its chest. BOOOOOOM. Cracks appeared. The Destroyer retaliated immediately. Its faceplate opened and the heat beam erupted outward. Thor met it head-on. Rei meanwhile disappeared again. He appeared beside one of his marked kunai and immediately formed hand seals.

"Suiton: Suiryūdan no Jutsu!" [Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique] A massive dragon made entirely of water surged forward and struck the Destroyer from behind. The impact forced it forward. Directly toward Thor. Thor grinned at it as he knew what Rei was doing. He was really having fun, coordinating with The hammer spun once. Twice. Then Thor launched himself forward with a roar. Lightning exploded around him.

Rei simultaneously tightened the remaining Adamantine Chains that he had just used to tie him down to the ground. The Destroyer froze for a brief second. That was enough. Mjolnir struck the center of its chest. BOOOOOOOOOOM. The entire construct shattered. Pieces of enchanted metal exploded across the battlefield before crashing harmlessly onto the street. Everyone started approaching both of them, including Coulson that have seemed to have arrived on time.

"So this is how you normally look?" Jane asked.

"More or less.." Thor replied with pride in his voice.

"That is a good look." Jane whispered as Rei too now had joined the fray. Everyone was looking at Rei with wonder now.

"You fight good, small warrior." Thor said. He knew from the disguise that Rei wanted to keep himself hidden looking at the clone and thus wanted to compliment him but also keep the identity hidden. Rei didn't reply to that as there were other things to be taken care of now.

"We must go to the Biforst site. I would have words with my brother." Coulson came running in and Thor to tell him to calm his tits down and give back all the belongings and notes back to Jane which they had taken before, and that he was an ally to Midgard. Coulson now got the gist of who he was and nodded.

"Small warrior. Do you wish to see an end to this feud that my brother had started and wanted to harm you?" Thor asked.

"I thought you'd never ask." Rei was beyond delighted now.
