Chương 137: Make Konoha Great Again.

Shikaku rushed towards the Hokage office at the same time as Kakashi and inadvertently met him at the doors to Danzo's current throne room. Both of them gave each other a short stiff secret nod before Shikaku took the lead and knocked on the door. Knock Knock"Come in!" A worried, trembling and sorrow filled voice greeted them from the other side of the door.

'It's not Danzo!' Both Kakashi and Shikaku noticed at the same time.

'Why is it not Danzo?' Shikaku asked himself.

'Did he really turn into a dog?' Kakashi asked himself. Both Shikaku and Kakashi shared a glance again. This time there was clear suspicion in their eyes.

'What sort of act is this?' both of them thought at the same time. Shikaku pushed open the door to the Hokage office softly and stepped inside.

"Excuse me Hoakge-sama…" Shikaku said calmly as he entered. Only as soon as he did, he froze at the door, forgetting entirely that Kakashi was just behind him and needed to enter too. They bumped into each other, causing Kakashi to push Shikaku forwards before he stepped into the room slightly unconventionally. And as soon as he did, he froze too.

"Wh-""Wha-" Kakashi and Shikaku were at a loss for words because in front of them was Danzo who was trying to push his way through a ROOT agent's hands to get to his butt.

"Danzo-sama, Kakashi-san and Shikaku-san are here as you requested!" The ROOT agent quickly said as he could not hide the tone of fear and worry that glazed it directly.

"Danzo-sama? You called for us?" Kakashi asked, his gaze unsure, his tone unsure and his hands quivering. He couldn't understand what he had to feel right now.

'Has Danzo really turned into a dog? Is it true?' Kakashi asked himself the question once again. However he didn't even get the chance to analyse Danzo to see if the old man was just acting or scheming something new since as soon as Danzo heard the words Kakashi just spoke, his head instantly snapped in Kakashi's direction before he rushed towards him on all fours!

"Danzo-sama!!" Kakashi nearly wailed as he felt Danzo try to get to his butt almost immediately.

His mind failed to comprehend what was going on as he looked at Danzo really behaving like a dog trying to sniff the butts of everyone he met.

'Wait… will he try to sniff my butt too!?' Shikaku thought as his cheeks clenched tight. Hearing Kakashi try and plead with him, Danzo did eventually stop, but what he did next only blew everyone's brains out. Danzo pulled out a kunai, putting everyone in the room on edge, some because they didn't trust Danzo's lethality with a kunai, and some others because they thought he was too vulnerable to be trusted with a kunai right now. And the latter turned out to be right. PUCHI!!!

Danzo thrust his kunai into his right arm and sliced it off from his shoulder in one single swing!

"DANZO-SAMA!!!" The ROOT shinobi in the room shouted out loud as he rushed towards Danzo's side frantically. But Danzo paid him no heed, with his shoulder bleeding, Danzo grabbed the bandaged arm on the ground with his mouth and raised it up to Kakashi. Kakashi froze, since currently in this room only he knew the meaning of what Danzo had just done. Danzo had handed over his prime weapon to him without any bargaining.

Kakashi didn't hesitate for a second, he grabbed the arm like it meant the world to him and quickly unfurled the bandages to see if it was the real deal. Soon a pale white arm studded with nine open sharingan was revealed to the world. One eye was closed, making it ten total, but no one was able to question it right now. Shikaku was shocked because he'd just realised what it meant when Kakashi's summon had left him the note that Danzo had to be killed ten times.

'He can use Izanagi!?' Shikakmaru had read of the legendary jutsu in his ancient clan records from the warring states period when the Uchiha dominated the battlefields along with the Senju. The Nara clan was then neutral along with the Yamanaka and the Akimichi clans, but it was their prerogative to collect as much information on their enemies as possible to save themselves from any trouble.

And in one particular recorded battle against the Senju, a Nara spy had recorded the move being used in secret, unknown even to the other Senju. As soon as Shikaku saw the one single closed sharingan on Danzo's arm he immediately realised what must've happened. Danzo had tried to retaliate against whoever had put him in such a state, only for it to fail.

'A jutsu that even the legendary Izanagi cannot deflect?'

'Or perhaps Danzo was too slow to use Izanagi after it was activated? So he uselessly sacrificed an eye in the process of turning into a dog?' But Danzo was not done yet. Next, Danzo brought his left hand to his right eye and gouged it out! He then calmly held up the eye for Kakashi to take from him. Kakashi grabbed the sharingan too before asking Danzo a simple question, "Danzo-sama… where did you get all these sharingan? And why are you giving them and your arm to me?"

His voice was quivering much like the ROOT agent who was currently frantically trying to heal Danzo's arm and eye socket with what little medical ninjutsu he knew. Kakashi didn't react much to the blood. But he knew what this gesture meant, it meant surrender, total unconditional surrender. Yet he couldn't bring himself to believe this dream-like scenario was happening right before his eyes. Danzo frowned for the first time since Kakashi and Shikaku had entered the room and spoke angrily, "I'm not Danzo!!

Danzo is a filthy person who abused the village and disappointed Ultra Fighter!"

"You… you're not Danzo?" Shikaku asked, puzzled. He was beginning to believe the fact that Danzo had gone mad, but this was something else… whatever their benefactor had done… they had even made Danzo forget that he was Danzo?

"Yes! I'm not that filthy Danzo!! I'm Ultra Fighter's Dog! WOOF!" Kakashi's hands trembled.

"Ultra Fighter's Dog?" he couldn't believe what he was hearing. Someone in the entire shinobi world had decided they had a bone to pick with Danzo in the middle of the night, infiltrated the village, done 'this' to Danzo without anyone's notice and then left without anyone noticing as well. This was an even bigger insult to the village than when the Third Hokage had been assassinated in broad daylight. Yet Kakashi couldn't help but feel happy, joyous even!

'Who is this Ultra Fighter!?'

'I must thank him as soon as possible!'

'He has saved the village from the inevitable path of bloodshed where comrades killed each other for no other senseless reason other than Danzo's whims and fancies.' Kakashi's blood began pumping wildly once again, he wanted to celebrate this joyous occasion with someone. Only Danzo didn't seem to be done yet! Danzo completely ignored the ROOT shinobi trying to stop his bleeding and rolled onto his back while looking at Shikaku before he spoke words that sounded like a devil's 'divine' temptation to him.

"Shikaku! From today! By the authority vested in me by Ultra Fighter, I Ultra Fighter's Dog, command you to take up the position of the interim Hokage until a new Hokage is chosen!!"

"Your goal is to dismantle all of Danzo's previous evil works and make Konoha great again!"
