Chương 134: Taken Over.

Haruto didn't enter Fu's mindscape. Instead Haruto simply and directly merged Fu's mind with his like a spaceship temporarily docking at a mother station. As soon as the merger was complete, Haruto had complete access to Fu's memories, experiences, and life in general. However there were too many memories to search through so Haruto employed a trick. He baited Fu to think of certain memories in particular.

"I'm going to show Danzo the anger born of the people next." Haruto spoke inside the limbo. And it worked flawlessly, it was almost like Haruto had initiated a find on these memories. Almost immediately, Haruto saw memories of Danzo light and float to the surface of Fu's mind. Things like the time when he was first inducted into ROOT as a child and branded with the cursed seal, the time he was sent on missions by Danzo to prove his worth.

The time he invented the cursed seal version of the mind body switch jutsu to protect Danzo better, the time when he helped Danzo manage ROOT, the times when he watched Danzo argue with the Third Hokage for various things. And also the recent times when he managed the kidnapping of various children from the village, everything was made available to Haruto.

'So it was you…' Haruto thought with the immediate intent to hurt Fu. However he controlled himself and kept digging while merging Fu's entire life's worth of memories with his, constantly shifting through the memories in his head to keep track of various facts like Danzo's counter planning for the rebellion. His plan to create a division of Hashirama Celled Wood Release shinobi for war and also things like passwords and codes necessary to prove his identity as Yamanaka Fu.

After getting an initial impression of Fu's character, Haruto quietly did the thing he'd just wished he'd already done. Haruto stepped closer to Fu and coated his hands in spiritual energy. And then with a swift stab of his hand, he pierced Fu's chest, he managed to do it because Fu was currently a spiritual body. Fu opened his mouth and coughed up a mouthful of blood and whimpered in pain, but Haruto didn't pay any more attention to him.

"Good night, slave of terror." Haruto squeezed his hand. He felt a soft resistance as if what he was doing was going against nature, but he persisted and squeezed harder since he was sure of his choice. And so, Fu Yamanaka's soul was crushed. 'It feels like shit… like I don't want to kill them if they'd just understand they were wrong… but then I know they'll never listen to me so I have to kill them anyway…'

'It makes me feel dirty… like I just gave into their playing field and rolled around filth for them like a fat pig.' Grindelwald and Unohana said nothing to Haruto's words, they were mature enough to know that each person took to killing in their own way. Megumin clutched her hand around her staff while Edward spoke softly, 'It's alright. Sometimes things can only be done this way.'

Megamind looked like he wanted to say something but he held himself back since he couldn't put the feelings into words, instead he asked Haruto a soft question, "As long as you don't give up yourself… that's what matters, right?" Haruto heard Megamind's words and sighed. He didn't know if he'd be the same as he was before from today, but he was sure that he would never become someone as filthy as Danzo to stoop as low as him to value human life in its weight measured in filth.

Fu Yamanaka fell forwards, limp on Haruto's hand before his spiritual body started to disintegrate slowly and then completely faded away. As soon as that happened, Haruto's perspective shifted, he immediately heard several noisy footsteps just outside the shelf he was currently sitting in.

"Fu! Report immediately if you are still here!" A minute earlier. Danzo was reading through the various scrolls and graphs that had been made by Haruto's graph making software to study the finances of the village to be prepared for when the Daimyo came to the village in two days. Suddenly- THUD"Hmmm…?" -Danzo's attention was dragged to the shelf that Fu Yamanaka was hiding inside. Danzo felt a pang of hurt in his chest…

he felt something was wrong but he couldn't accurately point it out, after all nothing had happened inside the Hokage office right now for Fu to be in danger, yet his instincts from war called out. But Danzo didn't move to check the shelf immediately by himself, instead he called out.

"Check it out." One ROOT shinobi showed up, he was an Aburame clan shinobi that Danzo had picked up as a very young child, Aburame Torune and he immediately spread out his insects to go scout the inside of the shelf.

"He's unconscious." Torune said calmly, waiting for more instructions from Danzo. Danzo thought for a second and called out a name, "Fu! Report immediately if you are still here." There was no response for a few seconds and Danzo was about to give out his next order when the shelf door suddenly opened. Torune immediately took a combat stance as if to protect Danzo from whatever threat Fu possessed.

"Fu has awoken." Danzo gripped a kunai hidden under the Hokage table too and spoke up once again, "Fu! Respond or you will be considered an intruder!" Again, there was no response for a few seconds, before a rather weak and frail voice spoke up from behind the shelf door, "Danzo-sama!! Enemy attack!" Torune immediately shifted into combat mode after hearing those words, he stepped in front of Danzo and released a swarm of insects to cover them fully. Haruto as Fu Yamanaka stepped out of the shelf at that point.

"The code is 'Be wary of those who set fire to the tree!'" Fu said in pain, clutching his head. The swarm around Danzo loosened a little as Danzo was able to see Fu's face at least. Fu looked sickly, as a pang of fear seeped into Danzo's heart.

'Enemy attack!?'

'Has the rebellion begun!?'

'But Shikaku predicted it would begin during the weekend!! While the Daimyo was here!'

"Who was it!?" Danzo asked through the swarm.

"A strange person who called himself Ultra Fighter Danzo-sama…" Fu said, kneeling on the floor in front of Danzo who was still hidden inside the swarm of insects. Torune was standing in front of Danzo so Fu didn't have a direct sight of Danzo yet, but he waited, patiently.

"Ultra Fighter?" Danzo showed the most puzzled expression.

"Yes… he said he exploited the connection between your chakra on the cursed tongue eradication seal and can now remotely attack the minds of all those that have the seal on them!" Danzo's eyes widened. He didn't know if it was possible. But if the result of the attack was in front of him, then obviously he had to believe the words Fu was saying. Danzo immediately gave Torune an order.

"Stay away from me. And keep a distance of about five meters between us." Torune gave Danzo a surprise once over before nodding immediately, "I understand Danzo-sama." Torune reabsorbed his insect swarm back into his body and stood a good distance from Danzo in the Hokage office. Now free from any immediate obvious threats, Danzo ordered Fu, "Did you see his face? What did he look like? Did you defeat him?" Fu looked up at Danzo. And their gazes met.
