Chương 136: Huh?

Needless to say, Torune fainted from shock. Haruto looked at his handy work with Danzo continuing to sniff Torune's butt in order to wake him up and felt gratified. It was at that point in time that Haruto touched Danzo's mind once again. An image flashed in Danzo's vision.

"Ultra Fighter's Dog…" Danzo immediately became alert!

"Ultra Fighter-sama!!!" Danzo greeted cheerfully with his tongue handing and saliva dripping.

"Yes, Ultra Fighter's dog, I have a mission for you."

"What is the mission Ultra Fighter-sama!?"

"Dog… you must make sure that all of Danzo's evil plans are dismantled by tomorrow morning… and you must donate Danzo's right arm along with all his sharingan to Kakashi Hatake."

"Alright Ultra Fighter!!! I will do as you said!! Can I sniff your butt as a reward!?!?!?"

"No… such great rewards only come when you accomplish great tasks… you have to accumulate enough merit to be able to sniff my butt." Ultra Fighter said and then vanished, leaving Danzo alone in the Hokage office to pant with an enlightened expression on his face.

"Yes, Ultra Fighter-sama." Haruto quietly floated out of the Hokage office and began to move towards his house.

'Should I inform Kakashi and Tsunade about all this?'

'Nah… I'd rather let them figure it out on their own…'

'I'll have to be there to see their reactions though.' So Haruto quickly changed his direction and moved towards Kakashi's house.

"WWWHHHATTTT!!!?!?!?!??!"

"WHAT DID HARUTO JUST DO!?!?!?!??" Kushina was beyond bewildered.

"He just looked at Danzo and that other guy and they both just sort of… broke down and practically died? How!?" Tobiramam with the eternal frown on his face looked at everyone and spoke softly, as if he was unsure of what he had just witnessed himself.

"He sort of… overwrote Danzo's mind? By breaking it and reforming it into something new?"

"There is a jutsu like that?" Hashirama asked, surprised.

"I didn't think there was… but now there is… and it seems to be related to this person called Grindelwald." Tobirama quietly noted.

"But!! How did Haruto even learn something like this!? Why did he hide it till now and not use it before when it could've solved so many of his issues so easily!?" The story has been illicitly taken; should you find it on Amazon, report the infringement.

".... I think that's because Haruto only learned this after he defeated the Yamanaka shinobi." Minato helpfully interjected.

"There was a slight pause in Haruto's actions when he defeated the Yamanaka shinobi… at that time I had thought that it was because that was the first time Haruto had killed anyone so personally, but now that I think about it… it might've been this."

"So… Haruto got a reward for killing the Yamanaka shinobi? A more overpowered version of their clan jutsus?" Kushina asked slightly bewildered.

"I still don't get it… so you're saying this Grindelwald person rewarded Haruto for killing the Yamanaka?"

"If that was the case why couldn't he just have given that power to Haruto before for some other reason and made Haruto's life much easier?" Kushina asked softly this time.

"Perhaps the people in the other room like ours have a restriction on them too? As in, they have to be fair in their trades to give Haruto what he needs?" Mito pointed out. Tobirama nodded, "I think so too… after all without that they should've given Haruto everything they knew right at the start…"

"I suspect this Grindelwald person is also the man who gave Haruto the ability to resist the Cursed Tongue Eradication Seal in the first place because that is also an ability related to the mind."

"Whatever you say… this is quite shocking… won't he not need anymore powers after this to become very strong in the shinobi world and make a name for himself?" Hashirama asked. And surprisingly it was Izuna that interjected at this moment.

"Impossible! The Uchiha clan still exists and those with the three tomoe sharingan cannot be simply hypnotised, all mind control is a genjutsu in the end and all genjutsu can be broken easily by the sharingan."

"Memories are not just stored in the mind, but the soul too, and as long as the soul is not changed, the sharingan can catch all genjutsu." Everyone looked at Tobirama at this point. Was what Izuna just said true? Tobirama's frown deepened as if he didn't particularly like to depend on the Uchiha but he nodded either way.

"Although I will have to look into how Haruto's mind control jutsu works to understand it better."

"Any jutsu that requires one to infiltrate another's mind requires chakra to be sent into their body first, which means that as long as the chakra is visible using a dojutu and avoided or destroyed, the shinobi will be immune to Haruto's unique jutsu."

"Hmpf!" Izuna huffed before folding his hands and standing with pride much to Tobirama's chagrin. A soft silence fell on the enigmatic room before Kushina broke it with a grin.

"... is it wrong to say that I feel satisfied that Danzo has become a dog?" Mito smiled at the statement and spoke up.

"I feel like this is a satisfying conclusion to the Danzo saga too… if only it could've been done earlier… that way the lives of a few children could've been saved." Everyone's mood turned solemn upon hearing that before Hashirama cheered everyone up.

"I can't wait to see Tsuna-chan's reaction to this once she hears the news, being a medical shinobi she's bound to be called upon to check Danzo's condition after all…"

"True…" Mito said with a soft smile.

He slept very little anyway, so Kakasi was minding his business by reading the golden book, Icha Icha Paradise while in his bed. Knock Knock That was when he heard a knock on the front door.

'Huh?'

'The front door? So late into the night? Is it ANBU?'

'Troublesome…' Kakashi looked at the hidden entrance to the underground chamber where Tsunade was hidden for a second before making his way towards the main door. Knock Knock"Yes, coming!" Kakashi spoke out loud causing the knocks to pause for a second before he undid the latches on the door and finally opened it.

'As expected… it's the ANBU…'

"What happened?" The ANBU didn't speak for a second, as if confused by what he was about to say before he spoke hurriedly, not wanting to waste another second.

"There was an attack on the Hokage!!!" Kakashi's eyes widened immediately.

'Did the rebellion plan get exposed and someone acted prematurely!?' Several thoughts pertaining to the rebellion ran through Kakashi's mind, was Danzo dead, did Danzo survive, did they have to leave the village and run away, etc. But that could not prepare him for what he heard next.

"... The Hokage has turned into a dog!!" the ANBU continued.

"Huh?" Kakashi's brain froze for a second before restarting. One part of the sentence spoken didn't really lead to the other.

"Dog? What?" Kakashi asked, bewildered, just like the ANBU delivering him the news. At the same time, in another part of Konoha, an ANBU ninja rushed to the Nara compound and knocked on the clan head's door. Shikaku Nara awoke and looked at the secret spot under his window that he'd left for Kakashi's summon to slip in letters to confirm their meeting time and place if plans changed and found a note there.

'Did something happen?' Shikaku opened the note and saw that Kakashi had simply written something simple but meant a ton, 'Order changed, need to cook ten dishes instead of one.' The meaning was simple, Danzo had to be killed ten times instead of one.

'Why?' Shikaku didn't know… he would only know when he met Kakashi, however it was at this point that someone knocked on the door again. Knock Knock. Shikaku opened the door with a troublesome look on his face that screamed, 'I don't get paid to work after work hours…' but sharpened when he realised that the ANBU member was a spy he'd planted in Danzo's circle to keep track of his actions when he wasn't there. His spy wouldn't be contacting him in the middle of the night if everything was alright…

something terrible had to have happened.

'Has Danzo discovered that the Cursed Tongue Eradication Seal can be bypassed?'

'Has Danzo discovered that I have bypassed it?'

'Have my plans been uncovered already?!' Only… what the ANBU agent said, sent Shikaku into a regressive spiral of confusion.

"Shikaku-sama! Danzo turned into a dog!"
