Chương 129: Deal With It.

Tsunade looked very troubled. Her brows were furrowed and her lips pouting as she pinched her chin to think deeply. After a few seconds she came up with a counter offer she felt reasonable dealing with, "I'll only summon one of the previous Hokage." Haruto frowned exactly like Tsunade while in her body and after a few seconds said "Three people, Tobirama Senju, Mito Uzumaki and Hashirama Senju."

"No. Only one person. My grand uncle." Haruto frowned again, after much contemplation he came up with a different answer.

"Tobirama Senju and Hashirama Senju, and Hashirama Senju stays for a while after the summoning for performing a mission."

"A mission!?" Tsunade shouted like it was blasphemous to even think about such a thing.

"There are dangerous forces in movement here… I've heard rumours of things in my organisation that you can't even imagine about… if I get my hands on Hashirama Senju I can suppress those evil elements quite easily. Either way, he'll be in your hands to control, so what're you worried about?" But Tsunade vehemently shook her head, shaking her single pony tail as she asked a counter question, "Why should I trust that you won't misuse the opportunity to do something evil?!"

Haruto frowned for a second, thought about what he could do to reassure Tsunade without having her resorting to reading his memories and spoke calmly, "The entire time my shadow clone will be with you, the second you think I'll do something wrong, you can simply pop me."

"A shadow clone?" Tsunade asked suspiciously and Haruto nodded.

"I'll only send my shadow clone with as minimum chakra as possible, in case there's some issue with it you can simply pop it, we can even set a seal for it on the clone, won't a simple cursed tongue eradication seal work for that?"

"Hmmm…." Tsunade looked at Haruto with suspicion. She had a feeling that the man in front of her was in the end going to make her do something troublesome, so troublesome in fact that she'd regret ever agreeing to his conditions. So Tsunade promptly said, "No." Haruto's face as Tsunade morphed into annoyance. And only after a second of annoyance he said something so ridiculous that even Tsunade had to do a double take, "Fine. Make a bet with me that you will accept the mission."

"What!? Brat!!! Who do you think you are challenging me!!?? D- do you even know how many bets I've won in my life!?!?!?"

"Yeah… other than the ones you won against your grandfather who had even worse luck than you, you've won nothing else."

"Ho- How!? How do you know that!?" Tsunade asked surprised.

"Bet with me and I'll tell you. Otherwise forget about it…" The author's tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon. Tsunade grumbled before turning her head away, "Fine, forget about it." Seeing Tsunade playing hard to get, Haruto sweetened the deal a little using the stick and carrot approach, except his carrot was saving her from a social execution.

"If you don't make the bet with me, I'll reveal to the world that you faked your chest with a jutsu." Haruto smirked evilly in Tsunade's body making her face look smug causing the real Tsunade and everyone around her to become stunned, "I have people in high places that can spread reliable rumors, what do you-""YOU BASTARD!!!!!" Tsunade shouted out loud before controlling herself since Kakashi quickly intervened.

"Tsunade-sama!! The ROOT might hear you!"

"You bastard!!!" Tsunade said in a low tone with an annoyed expression on her face and Haruto's smirk widened, "How could a washboard become a beauty like you? I'm sure Jiraya-sama has pictures of your group from the relevant times… and I'm sure your growth was rather… abnormal… if I simply bring this matter up with him… he'll be more than happy to help me. So you know… deal with it…" Tsunade made an unwilling expression before grumbling to herself silently.

She only just realised that if Haruto knew such secrets about her, he likely even knew about her hemophobia… and if such information fell into enemy hands, there'd be hell to pay for it. So looking at Haruto with an expression that spoke volumes about how much she wanted to strangle him dead right now, she then spoke sternly, "I'll allow you on the mission only if you arrive as a shadow clone and ask my grandfather for his permission to go on the mission."

Haruto easily nodded, after all he couldn't imagine a Hashirama in any world rejecting fighting Madara. Seeing Haruto's eager response to what she'd thought was a difficult condition since her grandfather was a known pacifist, Tsunade fell into thought.

'Who could grandfather agree to fight?'

"Don't tell me!" Tsunade started with surprise but Haruto quickly interrupted her, "Whoever you're thinking of, keep it to yourself. I don't want a panic to spread through the village just yet." Tsunade gulped audibly before nodding quickly, "I understand." Kakashi on the side showed an expression like he'd gleaned something from their conversation but it was unclear if he truly had realised who was the enemy. In fact, Kakashi had guessed wrongly.

'A person the first Hokage agrees to fight? Won't that just be another Kage? Perhaps the third Raikage who it took ten thousand troops to defeat? But why would anyone resurrect the Third Raikage? Did Orochimaru do this? To trouble Konoha?' Poorly for Kakashi whose knowledge about the history of the village extended mostly to the textbooks of the academy, the most dangerous opponent he could think of was the Raikage.

Haruto however, just to be sure, looked at Kakashi and spoke equally seriously, "That goes for you to… understand?" Seeing Tsunade keep the issue a secret, Kakashi agreed easily. That was when Tsunade spoke up again, "Alright… What's the deal with Danzo that can make or break the rebellion?" Haruto took a deep breath and then exhaled before speaking, "Danzo has ten sharingan implanted in his arm of Hashirama cells, it was given to him by Orochimaru."

Haruto didn't know if there were ten sharingan yet, but it was only right to be cautious.

"Huh? So what? Can he use wood release?" Tsunade asked confusedly.

"Yes. He can use wood release, but only very poorly."

"Then what's the issue? The sharingan on the arm are not very useful are they? They were probably used to balance the powerful yang chakra in my grandfather's cells by that snake." But Haruto shook his head, "That's the least important thing about the arm studded with sharingan."

"Then what's so special about it?" Kakashi asked with a serious gaze.

"Sharingan can be sacrificed using a jutsu called the Izanagi to rewrite one whole minute of reality from the moment the jutsu is activated. It can even erase death." The words Haruto spoke sort of rebooted the brains of everyone present for a second.

"What?" Tsunade asked, confused, "Can erase death? What do you mean? Danzo is immortal?"

"Technically he is… but practically he's only immortal for ten deaths. So killing him once isn't enough. You have to kill him ten times to fully kill him for good." Everyone's mouth fell open. Kill him ten times? Not once, not twice, but ten times?! How was that possible? Making the opportunity for a single assassination was hard enough, doing it ten times in a row? Against a supposed Kage level shinobi??? Question marks flashed above everyone's heads at once.

Haruto noticed the confusion in their eyes clearly and spoke calmly, "There's a way to defeat him in a few blows, but it'll still be difficult."

"How!?" Kakashi instantly asked.

"You've got to slice away his arm instead of killing him, all before he activates the Izanagi jutsu, and then kill him for good."

"But what if he's got another sharingan?!" Tsunade asked with surprise. Haruto shrugged his shoulders, "Well then you'll just have to kill him again I guess."
