Chương 123: Back To The Grind.

Haruto quickly ate his ramen before opening the first scroll again and directly focusing on the Injection Jutsu. However, to his disappointment the first line he read in the scroll was-"This jutsu depends on the chakra scalpel jutsu and the suture jutsu, please learn those before learning this jutsu."

'Damn it… it'll take a while for me to learn this jutsu and finally complete my needle injection explosion jutsu.' So Haruto began with the first thing he could do to speed up the process, he began learning the suture jutsu since it was first in the list, and also looked easier.

"I see… so all I have to do is create chakra threads and then pass it through the tenketsu located near my tailbone… wait tailbone? I don't know the least chakra density of that tenketsu!?"

"What a waste of time…" Haruto sighed softly. Haruto knew what he had to do at this point, it was simple, delegate the boring task to someone else and do the more interesting job himself. Who was that someone else you ask? Why a shadow clone of course.

Haruto entered his bathroom and without even forming hand seals conjured a shadow clone this time without any smoke from wasted chakra because of his kage level chakra control before stepping out of the bathroom and opening Hiruko's third scroll and sitting on his desk in the third floor.

Haruto also opened a scratch notebook and began taking notes as if he was seriously studying the scroll about soul knowledge while in actuality he was using Occlumency to create a book in his memories regarding the experiments he would have to conduct to recreate his chimera jutsu so that he could trade with Jigen.

'I also have to find out where the black market transaction point is inside the village since I know nothing about where it is and how to approach it.' After a while Haruto closed everything and pretended to go to sleep where he first fought with Unohana for a while and then actually fell asleep.

Haruto woke up early the next day and absorbed the memories of the shadow clone he'd created yesterday before creating a new shadow clone with the directive of performing all the experiments for Hiruko's Chimera Jutsu after which he simply went to the Research and Development Department.

"Excuse me…" Haruto woke up the drowsy receptionist who was sitting lazily while looking over some files. The receptionist snapped awake and looked at Haruto with wide eyes, "YES!? "I'd like to place an order for a computer to be sent into my home for research purposes… is that possible?"

"Um…" The receptionist nodded slightly unsurely before speaking up, "I think I'll have to run this by the Hokage-sama first before anything is moved."

"That's alright by me. By what time can I expect an answer?"

"Since it's early I'll file the request immediately, you should have an answer by today evening Haruto-sama."

"Alright, I'll be here in the evening then." The receptionist nodded and Haruto was about to leave when on his way out he came across Arakawa Shindaichi, the spectacled man who'd stopped him before.

"Oh, Haruto!" Arakawa greeted him softly. Haruto nodded and was simply about to walk away after the short greeting but froze momentarily when Shindaichi asked him a question in a whisper.

"Psst~ are you taking part in the protest this weekend?" Haruto said nothing, ignored the question as if he hadn't heard it and simply walked away leaving Arakawa puzzled.

'So it seems to have begun… Kakashi-sensei has organised the rebellion… the ROOT agents following me probably didn't hear that… or should I go inform Danzo about it just to be safe?'

'... nah.. He probably already knows if even Arakawa knows…' Haruto quickly went next to training ground seven and greeted Kakashi and Naruto before asking Kakashi a question under the guise of the advanced chakra control exercise.

"What should I do here?" Haruto asked while showing Kakashi the textbook. Kakashi understood the hint immediately, Haruto was asking him if there was anything he could do to take part in the upcoming rebellion or protest. Kakashi paused for a moment and pondered as if the question was a particularly challenging one even for him before he simply shook his head, "Just keep your head down and focus on practicing it, I will tell you how to solve it when you actually face the problem."

Haruto felt a little surprised, 'He didn't reject me fully… So I do have a part to play in the rebellion it seems…' and closed the textbook before stowing it away in a storage scroll and hiding it in his pocket.

"By the way, do you know anything about the secret project that Hokage-sama is conducting that might be related to medical ninjutsu?"

"Oh?" Kakashi's reaction was puzzled for a second before his eyes narrowed rather dangerously.

"Why? Did you get an invitation?"

"Yeah, as long as I master a few medical ninjutsu, ANBU told me they would introduce me to the mission. I figured since you know so many medical ninjutsu you'd already know more about it." Kakashi simply shook his head and smiled before pulling open his book, "Just keep your head down and study, the problems will be solved automatically." The implication was clear, he was betting on the fact that Haruto wouldn't need to worry about this since Danzo would be long gone by then.

So Haruto simply nodded and then went to the Interrogation and Torture Department to train under Daichi. In the I. T department Haruto informed Daichi that he'd been scouted for the program they discussed yesterday and his reaction was a simple defeated sigh. After that Haruto continued learning the scabbing jutsu in more depth as before, before ending the day in Training Ground Seven where he practiced his own needle injection explosion jutsu, third level chakra control and today also the suture jutsu.

After all he had to show himself practicing it in some way to show everyone that he was learning the least chakra density of the tenketsu himself and not delegating it to a clone. In the end Haruto went back to the Research and Development department and finally got the acceptance to move one computer unit to his home. So with the help of a few other researchers including Arakawa Haruto carried the cpu, the monitor and the peripherals all in one trip to his house and set it up on the third floor.

Haruto thanked everyone before offering them all some ramen and then continued his routine of learning about the soul from Hiruko's third scroll while waiting for the shadow clone from morning to send him the results of the experiments from today so that he could plan out the experiments for tomorrow.

The difference today was that Haruto didn't have to write down Hiruko's half baked knowledge into a scroll, instead Haruto simply typed down his experimental ideas into the computer and before closing it encrypted it so that no one other than himself with the password to the file would be able to read it.

In the meanwhile however, Haruto created another shadow clone since he'd recovered enough physical and mental energy to create another one and had it train in finding the least chakra density of the tenketsu in his tailbone.
