Early in the morning, I made a dozen more Tier 7 Remake pills, then used the High-grade pills on Tingling, my wife with a Cauldron Sacred Body. They weren't the best pills, and wouldn't regrow body parts except for fingers or small bits. Either way, I had hope in that Sacred Body, and even used my milk to help Tingling wash down her pills. What was not enough for a Dao King like Willow was instead more than enough for Tingling. Her aura rose sharply, burning through the cyanide poison and not stopping there.
Once again, one my wives ascended with my dick inside her, and my little lotus gained another blue petal inside my Dao Grotto. Did plants use petals like humans used cultivation levels? I didn't know, and plants didn't like to talk much. The stone lotus inside the pyramid was possibly starved for any interaction and likely buying my goodwill, should I ever be in a position to free it sooner than 20 kalpas remaining on its sentence.
I still lost 7 years when the door to the plant biome was open, so I wasn't very happy, but it could have been much worse if I did step inside. Luoli appeared beside us and took Tingling's wrist in her hand, like a real cultivation doctor.
"Some poison still remains, but as a Sage, she won't be in any danger anymore. Good job, husband." she proclaimed while ruffling Tingling's hair like she was sick child. I already knew that diagnosis, but perhaps a second opinion wasn't a bad thing. I wasn't perfect.
"Start making pills again, Tingling. I should be back in a month or so." I said and kissed my sick wife for a long minute. She blinked and glanced at Luoli with curious eyes, then shook her head and just nodded. A Sage was indeed a bit wiser. Petunia, Blue Rose and Snowdrop waited by the door, so I just walked beside them and kissed each for a minute.
"All ready?" I asked afterward, making sure they didn't forget their luggage or something. Petunia smiled, then lifted high, holding me with her Domain while Blue Rose carried Luoli and Snowdrop flew with her hands free. Then we picked up speed and flew above the sect and towards the Jade Forest. As a Great Sage, I could make this trip in less than an hour. Petunia did it in less than a minute, then kept going, flying over the Jade Forest while clouding us with a masking cloud.
While making our way deeper into the danger territory, it suddenly occurred to me that I might not return alive. What was I even doing, going to fight a Tier 8 beast? Then my little lotus glowed a bit, and my bravery returned. I was not alone nor weak. I faced a demonic cultivator two realms higher when I was barely in Foundation realm. I killed Great Sages when I was only a Sage. My strength was not in doubt. My resolve was. The little lotus knew me well. Luoli saw me smile and sighed aloud.
"You better be as strong as you think you are, husband." she whispered as our Dao Kings escorted us deep into the big forest of death. I grinned wider. Luoli was also anxious. An Immoral Empress, scared of a pig? She was lucky they didn't invent Twitter here. Petunia kept changing directions, likely avoiding dangerous zones, not that it mattered too much. If a strong beast sensed weakness it would pounce anyway, even if we avoided their marked territory.
A few days later, we approached the Cherry Pink Canyon, named such because a huge ravine of pink rock separated the Jade Forest. I didn't sense any residual Sword Intent from the canyon, so it might be natural. Then we landed on the edge, and the natural impression vanished. There were ruins inside this canyon, old but durable enough to still linger after whatever disaster destroyed this place.
"Rest here for a bit. Snowdrop, air cover." Blue Rose ordered and took out a tea table, like we were having a picnic on the edge of oblivion. Snowdrop flew up, covered in her snow domain and thus mostly invisible to any weaker foes. I spread a few Tier 7 Remake pills around, just in case any of us got wounded but didn't die instantly.
"Pef Tian, your beast is that way. We can't come too close." Petunia pointed at a distant mountain with three sharp peaks. I drank some tea, then rolled my shoulders. I wasn't a fan of poetry, but we do what we must. I flew over the canyon and landed on the top of the third peak, when a huge boar with metallic skin and spikes appeared on the second peak.
"Human? And a Great Sage? I haven't seen your kind for a million years. What are you doing here, in my territory?" the boar asked quite politely. Then again, this was a smart beast, not your regular wild boar. I cupped my hands and bowed towards the strong Tier 8 beast.
"I doubt you are really interested in my love troubles and the poetry ranking list of the big sects. But, I want to train under you for a poetry contest. A Dao King from the Mist Valley mentioned your Highness as a great poet." I said with a clear heart. Mix a little lie in my explanation, and the boar was hooked. This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings.
"Hmmm. Little Thumb is still alive? He did run a round this place a long time ago, looking for herbs for some pill. Did he reach Tier 8 in Alchemy?" the boar asked with surprising intelligence. I didn't answer, instead looking around for rare herbs, which kinda covered this three peak mountain.
"I also reached Tier 7 in Alchemy. Which isn't bad for my age. I just turned 30 years old." I said instead, and poked a few interesting herbs. The ancient beast blinked and appeared beside me to sniff my hands, until it got convinced my age was indeed only 30.
"Not bad? I think learning Tier 7 Alchemy takes a million years at least! Not to mention you also cultivated into Great Sage realm. You might be the highest genius ever born!" the boar praised me with some hidden intent. I shrugged and poked a few more rare herbs.
"My wife is much better and even younger. She is also a Tier 7 Alchemist and only 28 years old. And a Great Sage too." I muttered in a humble voice. The huge boar sniffed in disbelief.
"No way! One genius might be a Heaven's Chosen, it does happen sometimes. But two? And one even better?" I raised a hand and pulsed my qi in three short dots.
"She's over at the canyon, I called her over. You'll see. And I get to pick a dozen herbs for free, because you didn't believe me." Luoli flew over and landed beside me, then nodded politely towards the huge beast.
"If my husband insulted you, please forgive him, Lord of the Forest. His brain is quite strange, filled with poetry instead of reason." she said in a gentle voice, and held her palm out to be sniffed, like she would calm a dog. The huge boar sniffed, and shook his head.
"No insults, little girl. You are indeed 28 years old, and a peak Great Sage. And, I hear you're also a Tier 7 Alchemist? Is it so easy to become one these days?" the beast asked dumbfounded. I began to collect a few herbs I might use for a new pill, sticking to my persona as an airhead genius. Luoli glared at me, then took a few steps aside.
"Not even you would be safe if the details of the big sects come to light, Lord of the Forest. We didn't run away because we wanted to. Our Elders opposed our love and..." she sniffed like a young maiden in love. The huge boar glanced between me and my wife.
"Perhaps I shouldn't learn too much about your sect situation. But if poetry could save your love, I am willing to help! Young man, recite your best poem." the Tier 8 beast decided, moved by our tragic love story. I coughed and took out some ice wine to clear my voice, then held a hand behind my back.
"Red moon, blue eyes! Why is my love so hard? Blue sky, soft falling light Only the moon can hear me sigh!" Luoli blinked, and tears fell from her eyes, likely because our lives depended on it. The huge boar drew close and sniffed me again.
"That is your best poem? I expected a true masterpiece... not this." Luoli slapped the boar's snout, then rubbed her hand as the beast was more durable than diamond.
"Don't insult my husband! His love is pure and true like the light of the moon!" she yelled in outrage. The Tier 8 beast froze, partially because someone dared to slap it, but most importantly because Luoli anchored it with a weak Tier 8 Formation.
"Stupid beast! You don't recognize Mount Tai, even in front of your eyes!" I yelled and stabbed his huge eyes with two of Willow's toes, the tips of her bones filled with Black Urchin venom. In principle, the fight was won already. Not even a Tier 8 beast could prevent that venom from converting its brain into more venom. On the other hand, this was a harvesting mission, not a simple assassination.
I jumped up and drew my sword, and began chopping the locked down beast trying to cut its head off before the Formation failed. Luoli began striking the beast from below, and our attack was soon joined my Blue Rose and Petunia, who were standing by exactly for this. To our eternal shame, hundreds of deadly sword strikes barely left a few wounds on the huge beast, and Petunia trying to stomp the head of the huge pig barely made any dents. The damn beast was too durable.
A huge roar shook the air, as the beast broke free from its Confinement Formation, then... it simply slumped down, almost crushing Luoli beneath its snout. I kept slicing, my sword cuts getting deeper and deeper as the beast lost some of its durability after death. A thousand strikes later, the head detached and rolled down the slope, leaking venom instead of blood.
Blue Rose sighed and stored away the huge boar carcass inside her relic storage ring, then we ran off, just as the rolling boar head fell into the canyon below. Step one and two, complete! Now, for the extraction. Sadly, we didn't manage to kill the beast before it roared, so it was certain that more beasts, people or both would arrive soon enough to check. Blue Rose took point, following the map towards the nearest demonic sect. A minute later, we reached the first teleport anchor, and stepped inside.
Luoli opened a hand and spent several billion spirit stones, shifting us away laterally towards the next route. We flew in an arc, avoiding straight lines which would be too easy to trace. A few hours later, we reached the second anchor and teleported again, resuming our escape route, but much farther away than normally possible.
"There! That black rock is their sect gate." Snowdrop pointed towards an innocent looking boulder, half outside the mountain's base. Blue Rose dove first, grabbing a pair of black robbed cultivators hidden in a hollow tree. Luoli held a hand out, and I placed a round grenade in her palm. Her Formation lit up again, and she replaced the heart of one cultivator with my venom grenade, then stuffed the extra heart inside the second man's stomach.
It was a bit of a pity I had to leave two living demonic Sages behind, but it would be better than being followed. And these guys should die soon enough. Blue Rose returned the demonic guards inside the tree outpost, and we teleported away, one last time. We flew outside the forest and landed at the sect's Jade Outpost, and just rested and waited for news. Tomoe arrived a minute later, and ran to hug and kiss me. Not the proper master-disciple relation, but I wasn't very interested in morality.
Snowdrop left first, since the sect would be safer with a third Dao King to hold the gate. And we waited and waited, not that we wasted our time doing nothing. My dick could get sucked while we waited, right?
