Chương 164: Great Sage

Cultivation is hard and slow. Even with the boost given by dual cultivating with stronger wives, it still took four months to reach level 8, and then six months to reach 9th level of Sage realm. Meanwhile, Luoli managed to outpace me and ascend into Great Sage realm, with only a day remaining at 18 years old. Sure, she benefited from the similar flower, the Tier 8 cultivation array and billions of spirit stones burned daily on the altar of fast cultivation. Plus my milk. Let's not forget that.
On the other hand, Snowdrop has finished the scouting mission, and returned with 31 Sacred Body women, plus tens of thousands of rare meridians women, saved from the other small continents floating like islands on the 19 seas. These women were quite lucky to be found by the Million Flowers, instead of wasting time in a small sect, or being captured by demonic cultivators for other reasons. Being eaten alive is not very pleasant, I hear.
Luckily for them, the Million Flowers Valley had now all the conditions to raise these women into strong cultivators, with the Saint realm as a low ceiling. At the same time, the Model Army had finished their training exercise in the Jade Forest, fighting beasts or criminals hidding in the huge forest. Technically, the Jade Forest covered at least a third of the Central Continent, much like the taiga forest on Pef's world.
However, there were Tier 7 and even Tier 8 beasts living deep inside this huge forest, so any training had to take place only at the periphery of the Jade Forest. You wouldn't want to explore too deep and meet a Winged Tiger or some other fearsome beast. Those 1000 Soldiers would become food in seconds. Unless your name was Tian Wushang, and you loved fighting beasts that could bite off a mountain, it was too risky to go further than a day's flight.
This worked at any cultivation realm, and even Dao Kings would not return if they flew at their best speed for a day into the Jade Forest. A Tier 8 beast was roughly a dozen times stronger than a regular Dao King, if such a term even applied. There were no regular Dao Kings, only extremely talented humans that managed to connect with the Dao at a deeper level. My courtyard was now filled with 300 injured Soldiers, many of them already at the peak of Soul Transformation realm.
The training worked, exactly like it was supposed to. A hundred Soldiers were now in closed cultivation and attempting to ascend in Body Integration realm, but all of them had gained combat experience, field experience and overall a great life experience from the training. Simple injuries, like bites, gashes, crushed parts, and even torn digits, eyes, ears, limbs could be healed easily with a single Rebuild pill, plus my milk tithe of enjoying new flesh in medical ward.
Also expected, about half of the injured Soldiers benefited from the treatment and walked out as new Body Integration cultivators, to their joy and suprise. I wasn't surprised though. I suspected my milk was not exactly normal, and this suspicion became a near-scientific theory, although not based on science at all. The Dao couldn't care less about science, unless we're talking about zero-point vacuum energy and Boltzmann brains the size of a universe, dreaming life into existence.
But, unlike Pef's science knowledge, I don't think my Sword Intent is a form of the Casimir effect. Maybe the reverse of it. Snowdrop entered my room as the last injured patient walked out, and measured me with inscrutable eyes.
"Husband. Finished working for today?" she asked in a soft voice. I drank more Indigo Plum Wine, and just nodded. I only had about 20 doses of milk left, but if she wanted the last milk, I was ready to give her the prize. She did work hard, scouring the 19 seas for talent. My snow-heart wife embraced me tenderly, and grabbed my ass.
"Pef Tian. How long are you going to keep me waiting? You took my sisters, even my elder sisters. You took your maids, your other wives, even my pretty disciple into your bed, and made them your women. Am I not worth it too?" she complained and kissed my neck, then grabbed my dick with her white-jade hand.
"Snow, are you sure? Your cultivation method..." I whispered, quite excited at the prospect of fucking another Dao King. Her eyes glinted with something dangerous.
"My cultivation is slow like hell. I need your dick. Stop hesitating and make a woman!" she demanded in a forceful voice. This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings. What can a husband do? Please his horny wife, of course! A minute later, I was balls deep inside the pure Yin spring, plowing Snowdrop's pure dew like it was fresh snow. But this time, the analogy worked.
Her Daoist name and Sacred Body type matched perfectly, and her Pure Yin was so strong that I blew through the Great Sage realm ascension and kept going, climbing two whole levels until I ran out of milk. Snowdrop gasped beneath me, her inner walls spasming like crazy while milking my dick, then she let out a long sigh and gained a Dao level as well.
"I told you. Your dick is better than thousands of years of qi refining. Faster and much more pleasant. I must thank Petunia for her advice." Well, losing her purity was also a one-time event, but from now on it won't work the same. Petunia and Blue Rose were plowed thousands of times before they managed to gain a new Dao level.
"You're not in Soul Transformation like these Soldiers, my pretty Snow. It might take 40000 times for your next Dao level." I answered and climbed off, resting my head on her large pillow breasts.
"I know that. But I meant about your cultivation, not just my own. You reached Great Sage realm! Your lotus milk should be more potent now, right?" Snowdrop said in a loving voice, and hugged my head tight to her chest. A rapid internal check, and yes, I now had 777 doses of milk per day, plus extra benefits of becoming a stronger cultivator. I could use a dozen more Sword techniques now, without injuring my meridians. I my soul benefited even more, gaining the special 'great' attribute.
It was less about range and power, but about density. Gravitas made real, like steam turning into water via rapid cooling. Wait a few days, Pef! We'll play with water pressure jets made of soul power after we adapt to our new cultivation realm.
"Thank you, Snowdrop. It was indeed the best gift a husband could want. Luoli was getting farther ahead, with her special body and knowledge. I don't have her talent or Sacred Body. Only my milk." I said in a grateful voice.
"Luoli... her Formations can already match me, Pef Tian. And none of us can see what she's doing inside that sealed cave of hers. A Tier 8 Formation Master is quite scary." Snowdrop admitted with a respectful voice. I knew what Louli was doing. Cultivating at high speed, by burning billions of spirit stones every day.
It was exactly the reason why her friendly stone lion gave me access to the third floor with the treasure of spirit stones, or why the stone bear let me loot as much as I could carry without fighting me. The pyramid was not supposed to work like that at all, not unless the prisoners-guards wanted an 'early release for good behavior'.
"We just need to wait. Luoli should recover her Dao King realm in a few years, and then she can really help the rest of us. Plus, I think I can also match an early Dao King with my sword now. Maybe even kill one, if he's not paying attention." I said as encouragement. Snowdrop groaned.
"You're both monsters! And how can you kill a Dao King without a Domain?" my wife asked a bit confused. I waved a hand, and a dozen water swords condensed from airborne humidity.
"But I do have my Sword Domain back. I almost had it as a Sage, but it was a bit hard. Now is just natural. My soul is strong enough." Snowdrop broke my water swords with her Snow Domain and groaned again.
"It's so unfair! Normal people struggle for thousands of years. Willow still hasn't mastered her Domain yet. And you or Luoli just breeze through."
"Willow doesn't have a Sacred Body, so it's also natural she has to struggle for a while. But, she has something far more powerful instead." I said with a sigh, thinking of Willow's connection to the higher entity I called a Willow God. I could imagine what the Willow God looked like, a huge tree with branches extending into a myriad universes, perhaps mostly spiritual branches, but either way, powerful beyond belief.
Pef had read plenty of novels envisioning such entities, from Shards to Eldrich Gods and worse, but cultivators were possibly far worse. They kept getting stronger. My latest ascension was proof of that. One more hurdle, and I will join the Dao Kings as well. I even knew what Dao insights to use for my next ascension, unlike any other normal cultivator who had to meditate on the Dao for thousands of years, and most likely fail.
Without a Sacred Body, it took unbelievable luck and talent to reach that cultivation realm, plus wealth, resources, land and companions. I had all that here in the Million Flowers Valley. Well, perhaps not all the resources I wanted, but I had enough. I wouldn't say no to a few Dao Treasures and Tier 8 fruits, however, those things were indeed not available at any price.
I would need to risk life and limb exploring Secret Realms or places like the Jade Forest, the 19 seas or the White Sands desert to maybe find something good. Or die. The latter was far more likely. As a Great Sage, entering too deep into the Jade Forest was guaranteed to attract the attention of a Tier 8 spirit beast. And unlike a Dao King human, I cannot kill such a beast with a single sword strike at the right time. Injure it, maybe. Cut off a limb, if I'm lucky.
But to kill something like Nighthowl Panther, which was invisible to all senses? Fuck off, Tian! You were a peak Dao King and almost died to the invisible panther. And challenging the Hedgesteel Boar to a poetry contest, then cutting his head while he recited his famous moon river poem doesn't count. It was clever, yes. Using Tian's experiences to replicate the same kills would be possible again, but I still needed a Dao King realm. Although we won't fight the Golden Sea Kraken ever again.
The Deep Sea Pearl may be precious, but even Tian almost died in that sea canyon. Never again! Living again is supposed to be a blessing, using the wisdom gained in another life to avoid the same mistakes.
