Chương 168: Good day
Three flowers and the Immoral Emperor · Pef · 178 chương · ~22 phút đọc · Tạo 31/07/2026
Another month passed with Blue Rose and Snowdrop cautiously going deeper and deeper into the Jade Forest, mapping the terrain and sometimes observing rare herbs being guarded by spirit beasts, while other times they located hidden sects doting the huge forest. I already suspected a huge demonic presence inside the Jade Forest, since they did have to hide from the big sects and their deadly Quasi-Emperors.
Those smaller and weaker demonic cultivators hiding inside towns and cities were mostly ignored because they kept a small presence. My Flowers Soldiers didn't ignore them, since the small demonic sects were in fact a huge boon for training in relative safety, and we mostly paired that with criminal extermination raids, to give the new recruits some bloody field experience. As in crushing heads and ripping out spines with their bare hands.
Anyway, today Rose and Snow returned and drank my milk as a reward for a job well-done. They did locate a Tier 8 beast that looked like a boar with a thousand spikes and thorns. Probably the Hedgesteel Boar, if we were lucky. Then each of them took out their forest rings, and handed over the loot. Hundreds of Tier 5 beasts, a dozen Tier 6 beasts and even a Tier 7 Iron Skin Bison, beside thousands of rare herbs and spirit fruits. The Jade Forest wasn't just dangerous, but full of resources and opportunities.
"You two managed to kill a Tier 7 spirit beast?" I asked instead, and raised an eyebrow in doubt. I could do it easily, but my wives kinda sucked at fighting. Snowdrop blushed and looked away.
"Does it matter how we got it? Plus, Blue Rose did put it down. See that sword cut in the neck?" she muttered with a guilty voice. I did see the sword cut, but I also saw the beast belly missing most of its entrails, including the liver. Something else bit this beast first, and my wives simply exploited a wounded, probably dying beast. Not bad, but shouldn't take all credit.
"Mark that area as a Tier 8 beast lair. And don't go there anymore. I don't want my pretty Flowers to get bit in half." I demanded with a disappointed tone, mostly sad because that beast liver would have been quite nice for more pills. Blue Rose nodded and licked my dick from base to tip, measuring the nine inches slowly.
"You're right, husband. It was also a big prize to find. I'm not sorry." she murmured in a low tone. I sighed inward.
"You're missing the point. All spirit beasts are body cultivators. That makes them very dangerous in the same Tier. You're lucky that Tier 8 beast was probably digesting the entrails of this bison, and only keeping it alive to keep its flesh still fresh for the next meal. Next time it will be hungry." I commented with a gentle voice, then held my hand out. Snowdrop lifted me to my feet, then we moved beside Bronze Petunia in her pagoda.
Most of my wives and the new Sacred Bodies were here, studying cultivation scriptures and practicing techniques, and of course, gaining cultivation levels a hundred times faster than other people. Drinking Buzhou tea like water did help greatly with cultivation, especially at lower realms. Qin Lin ran and jumped in my arms, moving quite slowly even at the peak of Soul Transformation realm. Lin will get much faster and stronger once she ascended as a Body Integration realm, but I didn't mind waiting.
Rushing too fast had different problems, mostly causing the foundation to get shaky.
"Peffy! I made my first Tier 4 pill today! But it's only low grade..." Qin Lin said in a rapid voice, excited about her amazing success. And it was amazing, to be fair. It took Tian hundreds of years to reach this point. I picked up her failed pill and analyzed for a minute. Hundreds of small mistakes, but not a single big one. The pill would even work, for someone desperate enough to ignore to pill toxins.
With a grin, I took out a paper and listed the first hundred mistakes, then added, 'plus 246 more mistakes I can't fit on this page'. Lin read her paper and sighed aloud.
"Damn it. I still have much to learn. Anyway, got more milk?" she asked in a chipper voice. I always kept a few doses for Qin Lin, because she was indeed my first love and my first wife too. I grabbed her ass with one hand and bullied her boobs with another.
"You know I do, my love. Come join me in the bath in the evening." I whispered with a wink, watching Lin blush to her ears. She slapped my shoulder and ran off, returning to her small cauldron to keep working. Petunia came to hug me tight, then we sat down for tea while Blue Rose placed her new map on the table.
"We found the pig, Petunia. It wasn't inside the Cherry Pink Canyon, but still close enough. There might be a rare herb hidden nearby." As it happens, the Jade Forest hid thousands of spirit veins, even high grade ones. And these spirit veins created the conditions for numerous wild herbs to grow, sometimes even becoming Tier 7 herbs if a spirit beast protected them. Tian had never found higher Tier herbs in this forest, but then again he was only looking for good fights.
It was quite possible there were Tier 8 herbs hidden in the Jade Forest, since those were the catalysts that helped a beast ascend from Tier 7 to Tier 8. Royal Road is the home of this novel. Visit there to read the original and support the author. The competition for resources was just as harsh among beasts as among humans, and there were entire beast graveyards showing up when rare plants like such a Tier 8 herb matured and huge numbers of beasts battled for a chance at ascension.
Other times, such upheavals created beast tides, making waves of forest beasts ran out from the forest into human lands, with enormous devastation and loss of life. Petunia looked over the map for a long minute.
"Location is only the first step. Pef, are you sure you can kill this beast?" my blonde wife asked in worried voice. I nodded slowly.
"If we stick to the plan, yes. The problem is the last step. Extraction. If we linger just a bit too long, another Tier 8 beast will come. Depending on what beast it is, we might all die without even seeing the attacker. So we have to extract very fast." I warned my wives, who frowned with synchronicity. The air shimmered and Luoli landed beside me, and just looked at the forest map.
"I can help with extraction too. A teleport formation, if only at Tier 7." she placed two fingers on the map, to show me the probable distance. Not very much, but enough to escape the initial detection range of a Tier 8 beast coming to see who was causing trouble in their backyard. I plotted a dozen more locations on the map.
"We will retreat this way, placing a demonic sect in front of any pursuer, while we teleport sidewise. We'll need to leave a trail of demonic corpses, and perhaps a few traps. Poison, I'd say." I mused to myself, finding a use for that Black Sea Urchin poison I kept from Willow's leg. Luoli glanced at me with a strange gaze, half-admiring and half-disgusted. What did I say?
"Pef Tian being immoral shouldn't annoy me anymore, but it still does. The Great Dao truly is mysterious." my purple-haired wife complained, before vanishing back into her cultivation cave.
"Women admire a brave hero far more than a scheming one. We can scheme much better, in general." Snowdrop explained with a faint smile. I sighed inward. A general was a strategist, using any means to win. What do you mean brave? Should I get my wives killed in a stupid beast fight?
"The purpose of the last step is to return home with our lives and limbs intact. Bravery has nothing to do with accomplishing our goal." I grumbled in a wise voice. Snowdrop drank her tea and nodded slowly, while Petunia smiled at me like a blonde goddess.
"Perhaps we should wait a bit longer. If Luoli ascends, or you gain a few more levels..." she proposed in a cautious voice. Those things will happen, it was inevitable. But, so were the Blood Wars, the beast tides, the Demon Gate event, Secret Realms opening and so on. I didn't want to cultivate slowly and hope someone else solved such crises. The big sects were slow to mobilize, and generally acted only for their own profit.
"We should also kidnap and spread some demonic cultivators in other sects' lands, maybe even directly inside the big capitals. The Imperial City, the Nine Rivers Junction..." I mused slowly, trying to find a method to aggro the big sects against demonic ones. Blue Rose giggled, and poured me some tea.
"You are indeed devious, husband. But, it won't work, not like that. You release a hundred demonic cultivators far into a big city, they will just get captured and soul-searched. Plus, sects care very little about mortal cities. Their spirit mines or herb fields though?" she spoke with a far more devious mind. I blinked and started thinking. Perhaps I could bring out my Dark Lord persona? Entice some demonic cultivators into robbing a few spirit mines?
The big sects were in fact mega-corporations too, only far longer lived, and millions of times wealthier. Strike at their wallet, and a swarm of disciples will be sent out to destroy the treat to their overlords wealth.
"We are moving out tomorrow. I'm going to make some pills now, but you're invited for bath in the evening." I said after gulping my expensive tea. I had a few ideas about using the spine of this Tier 7 bison for some pills, plus a few Tier 6 herbs. A few minutes later, Luoli and Violet entered my Alchemy room, and began sucking my dick in turns while I worked. Things became harder, especially my dick, but the Dao insights were clearer too.
My Alchemy skill was already at the peak of Tier 6, at least as most alchemists saw things. Making 19 Supreme pills at once was considered the peak by most people. I saw the pure-grade pills at the real peak of the Alchemy skill, and even wondered if there was another peak above this. Surely, a 30 years old Alchemist couldn't be considered to have reached the peak, it would be too easy. After a few hours of testing, a new pill emerged from my cauldron, mingling purple and violet shades.
A High-grade Tier 7 Remake pill. Luoli grabbed the pill and gulped the lotus milk in her mouth.
"Husband... what the hell is this? A new Tier 7 recipe?" she asked with wide eyes. I nodded and began to repeat the working pathway. Three pills at once, then five, then seven, until a Supreme pill emerged, and my soul hurt from too much focus and expenditure. Alchemy was hard on the soul, for some reason. Violet embraced me and carried me into the bubble bath, where my Dao King wives and Qin Lin were waiting like naked fairies.
"Try it, Green Willow. Hubby did work hard for this." Violet told my maimed wife, and handed over the new Supreme Tier 7 pill. Qin Lin ignored the drama to climb in my lap and ride my dick, making waves as she slammed into my groin. Willow took off her wooden leg and then ate the pill, keeping her severed foot above water so we could all see. Her flesh began to grow, and she spat black sludge and ink from her lungs over the side of the bath tub.
"It hurts a lot, but I'm getting healed!" I kept an eye on her leg, but while it was slowly healing, it didn't work perfectly either. Barely an inch later, the pill was spent, and her leg still wasn't grown back. It was a bit of progress though.
"Luoli, you're the expert. What went wrong?" Petunia asked our reincarnated Empress.
"Nothing went wrong. It's a good Tier 7 pill, which will work perfectly on Sages, even Great Sages like me. A Dao King is just harder to heal, or injure for that matter. Plus, Willow is also suffering from that Octi Ink poison in her lungs. A few more pills should heal that problem at least, and grow the leg a bit more." Luoli answered with a competent voice, then ignored Willow to place her divine boobs in my mouth.
I got the hint and began sucking my Luoli's boobs, while Lin moaned on my neck when my milk spilled into her womb. Still a good day.
