Chương 163: Say no more

Alchemy is not science. If anything, the Purple Empress's experiments proved it beyond any doubt. Recipes for pills worked because Heavens approved them, and granted them the Supreme-grade. If not, you always risked failure and worse. On the other hand, it was also a cheat code. It was a source of a priori knowledge, verified by a higher power. Trying to science alchemy was futile, because experiments would not work. Or rather, they would work only to prove a single recipe, then fail constantly.
I had already wasted thousands of rare herbs, fruits and plants attempting to upgrade recognized pills into something better, but now I knew it couldn't work. If you wanted a better effect, you had to invent then register a new pill recipe. And by register, I mean of course, get the Heavens to recognize a Supreme-grade pill. Further refinement would only produce a Pure-grade pill, which was good, but it wouldn't grant additional effects, only reduce the side-effects.
On that note, I began working on my Saint-rank regeneration pill, and in only two weeks managed to convince the Heavens to give me the Supreme-grade, and thus recognition, without using the petal of my blue lotus. Luoli's knowledge was indeed worth its painful price. I was going to use that on the Sage-rank pill in Tier 7, but only when I was certain I wouldn't fail it. The Reconstitution Pill was already my best work as an Alchemist, and possibly the best Tier 6 pill ever made.
Even Luoli was impressed, examining the violet glowing pill with expert eyes.
"Husband, you do have talent for Alchemy. Now make a thousand more pills like this, and try not to fail any of them." she demanded like a girl boss. I was going to do that anyway, but my new wife had a way to make Alchemy less pleasant. Almost like I was back under tutelage by Master Wushang. Then again, she was right. Instead, I stored my alchemical materials and went outside, visiting the Galaxies and selecting a thousand Soul Transformation Flowers for their upgrade into Flower Soldiers.
Firstly, the Soldiers needed the field experience of fighting and killing criminals or demonic cultivators. Then, they needed combat techniques and Tier 5 weapons, which were not cheap at all for outer disciples. I did have money, but the women had to work for my gifts. And lastly, the Soliders needed to ascend into Body Integration realm, and also cultivate their bodies wih my new pills.
It was a bit of a coincidence that body cultivation would increase the chances of ascension into Body Integration realm, which was a qi essence cultivation realm, and not a Body Cultivation realm. Or perhaps not a coincidence at all. Very likely, the two cultivation methods were tied to the hip at some point in the past, and simply separated later, as qi techniques got stronger and stronger while resources for body cultivation got rarer.
Once a beast species got farmed for blood and cores into extinction, that was it. Even now, 80% of this world was not conquered by humanity, instead being the domain of spirit beasts, ghosts and natural formations, including mutated beasts, plus demonic cultivation sects and whatever else lay hidden in the Forbidden Zones, beneath the 19 seas, or in the Secret Realms. Then again, the world was so huge it boggled the mind, even for a Sage like myself.
It would still take me years to traverse the Central Continent, and that's without being attacked or injured in the process, which was quite a certainty. Much safer for a Sage, compared to a little Saint for example. But not safe at all, not even for a Dao King. Green Willow losing a leg was quite the best example of these dangers, and she only fought a few sea beasts. Demonic cultivators were far worse, and the righteous sects were not that righteous when nobody was watching.
Face was the only thing keeping the orthodox cultivators in check, and without audience, they dropped their face in the gutter. This story is posted elsewhere by the author. Help them out by reading the authentic version. Anyway, back to the Soldiers. Mineral and Vitamin pills were quite easy to make, starting the women on their body cultivation tract, and I only needed to add several body exercises, like running and sparring with weights.
The Tier 3 and Tier 4 pills were a bit harder to make in bulk, but for this project I could spare the time and resources myself. If and when the Soldier Project proved to work, I could convince and co-opt the higher sect ranks into helping. Perhaps I should call it the Super-soldier Project. Especially with the new Tier 5 shields? Pef's flower nodded in agreement, and I smiled.
"My dear Flowers! I've called you today for my new Model Army, which will be the template used by the Million Flowers Valley should a large scale war happen. There is 1000 of you, because this army will be organized into platoons of 10 Flowers, and those into companies of 100 Flowers. Ideally, the company Captains will be Unity realm cultivators, and the Army Major will be a Saint. A Sergeant will be elected by each platoon to lead them, not for combat abilities but for tactics and field experience."
I proclaimed aloud, flying a meter over the ground so the Flowers could see me clearly. A few hands jumped up, but I ignored them.
"When the sect is not at war, the Army will engage in patrols and exercises in the field, be they cities, villages or simply forests and whatever. But you will do so as a unit, to learn how to work together. Additionally, your role as a Soldier means you will be granted resources, including weapons, pills and combat techniques, plus lessons into other cultivation fields like medicine, puppets, forging, alchemy, formations and talismans.
The minimum level for remaining a Soldier will be Tier 3 in all of them, but we expect you to study on your own and reach Tier 4 or 5 at least in one such field." I added while spreading around storage bags filled with Soldier basic equipment. Tents, cook pots and blankets, for example. Weili floated beside me as the new Army Major, mostly because I promised to sponsor her ascension into Sage realm if she did a good job. That meant mostly my milk.
I would supervise Weili's actions for a time, but as an Army officer, she did have the right to choose her own Captains, and thus 10 Mind-Body Unity realm women flew behind her, including two of my maids, Ruo and Jiao, which also would serve as my eyes and ears. I didn't plan for further ranks and army sizes yet, but using Pef's knowledge I could already envision creating regiments and divisions, perhaps even larger structures like Army Corps and theaters.
I was just hard to do this without a clear and present danger, such as a major demonic invasion or beast tide. But those will come, since Tian had lived through them.
"All right, Soldiers! Follow me, as we begin our first field exercise. If anyone gets lost, we will meet at the Sect Outpost near the Jade Forest. But do try and not get lost. This is also my first time leading an army, and don't want to make a mess from the start." Weili shouted and flew slowly towards the sect's border, followed by a gaggle of unimpressed and rather undisciplined Soldiers. I sighed inward then turned around and went to take a hot bath.
Women did make poor soldiers, especially at the start of their training. Sure, cultivators leaned on the stronger side of the human mind, otherwise they would simply die before even getting started with higher cultivation by forming their Foundation, but discipline wasn't a natural state for most women. Thus my sigh. I hoped for the best, but expected the worst. A few percents of them might die on their first field exercise, since even the outskirts of the Jade Forests were full of spirit beasts and toxic plants.
Luoli jumped inside my bath, and looked at Siao sucking my balls with a raised eyebrow.
"Pef Tian, you live a blessed life as a fairy doctor. Surrounded by beauties eager to suck your dick and balls." she spoke with a bit of envy. I grinned a bit too wide. That was the entire point.
"If you want me to suck your boobs, just say so." I countered with a sly tone. Luoli sighed aloud, then pushed her boobs in my face.
"Scumbag. If only your milk wasn't a divine medicine." she complained and moaned at the same time. Siao nodded with my balls in her mouth, and winked at Luoli who pretended not to see her. I grabbed Luoli breasts in my hands, and sucked them harder, just to hear her moans. I did have a blessed life. Next day, Luoli and Siao were making pills together, with Luoli acting as the teacher. Possibly the best teacher my wife could find in the sect, even better than a Dao King like Petunia or Blue Rose.
Smiling to myself, I bent Siao over and began fucking her, disrupting their Alchemy lesson with lewd clap sounds and horny moans. Luoli sighed and pressed her boobs in my mouth again.
"I want a dozen rounds too. Damn scumbag!" I slurped loudly and nodded, using a free hand to grab her round ass. Say no more, my dear wife. I will fuck you next and it will be my pleasure.
