Chương 217: Chapter 200. 1st Anniversary

" We're off then! Take us up, Hank!"" Got it." Hank took Sarah, Anna and I, up into the sky and the giant mansion we live in became smaller and smaller. It's been a little over 2 months since we all started learning Demon Martial Arts from Ruby. From the 2 months of training, we've found out that Sarah and Anna are great at striking, their natural strength and reflexes made them have a natural inclination and talent for striking. They picked up on multiple techniques easily.

From straights, hooks, uppercuts and even overhands. All together in a flurry of jabbing and using their rear hands for landing devastating hits. And that's just with their hands. Their legs are in the beginning stages of becoming weapons as well. Ruby has started to teach them all sorts of kicking techniques. Meanwhile, Emily has found a knack for grappling. The way that Ruby explained it, it seems to fit Emily's diligent personality.

As soon as any of us make a mistake, whether in a clinch or grounded situation, Emily is easily able to capitalize on it. Her striking has also grown well. She may not be at the level of Sarah or Anna on her feet, but Emily has become quite formidable. Ruby continues to praise her growth. And then there's me... Ruby and I just don't understand it. While I'm able to grasp the basics of what Ruby has taught us... I just can't seem to make it "click" like my fellow students.

I feel like I did during the first few days of my training to fight the Hero. Though I say all of this praise, none of us have beaten Ruby in a sparring match yet. Though Sarah and Anna inch closer every day, Emily and I are barely able to stop from being completely overwhelmed with what we can do." Where are we going, Darling?"" Relax, Anna. He said we'll return in time. This is just like what Ruby said about you needing too much information." Anna wanted to know where we were going.

Sarah's response made Anna a little annoyed." Well, sorry I'm not like you and just dive in headfirst! That's why Ruby was able to beat you with that body blow yesterday!"" Better than hitting the time limit and losing on points!" They both have issues with their different Martial Arts Strategies. It comes down to a simple thing for each of them. Sarah likes to be offensive, and pressure her opponents. Anna prefers defending herself and waits to land a counter. Before a fight breaks out, I decided to break them up.

After all, I've been planning for this day since we found those gems when traveling to Drakheim." Now, now, let's relax. No one has lost worse to Ruby than I have after all. Both of you have grown so much these past 2 months as well. Instead of picking each other apart, you guys should be happy you've come so far. Besides, today isn't about fighting."" Today is the 1st anniversary of Our Marriage. So, I thought it be nice to just have some time for ourselves that wasn't in our room."" So, you've been planning a date for us, Darling?" I nodded to Anna's words. At first, I thought it would just be a date, but since I found those gems, I knew I could fix an issue that was bugging me. Also, I think that the girls would like it. And, since I knew the world we live in, I made them both something special.

Since I know the "traditional" thing would get in the way while they were fighting or sparring." We'll be arriving soon. Hopefully, the food is still warm when we get there." I could see the spot on the horizon, it was a spot that I saw when Angela had brought me to Gaia 2 months ago. Which reminded me that I haven't had a nightmare again. In fact, my problem hasn't been sleeping, it's been being awake. Honestly, my work is as busy as I want it to be at this point.

With Emily as my Secretary, my daily work as a Lord is completed in under 3 hours every day. I then spend the next 5 renovating the town. So far, I've been able to complete around 50% of the roads in the town and around 20% of the walls. I have 3 fields left to make after Lily and I finish the latest field that we're working on. With this, life around Paradise has become more convenient as the roads I've fixed are where the current population spends its days.

What's left is in the unused parts, but I believe those places will be filled rather soon as word spreads about the town. With everything moving so fast, some things have been pushed to the side for now. Unfortunately, I've been unable to Meditate to meet new Spirits. Everyone I was currently Contracted to didn't seem to think of it as a big deal, but I truly wonder if it's okay? In other news, I've been able to grow leaps and bounds in my Mana Output training.

Even without the Offensive Spells, I can use my Defensive Spells as the exercises. Sarah and Anna seem to think I've made it to the level of a senior in the Royal Acadamy in terms of Output Control." I'm going in for the landing." With Hank's words, I grab the giant Santa-sized bag of food I've gathered for this early dinner picnic. I need to remember to thank Jim for working on all of this food. Hank was able to land smoothly." Wow!"" I haven't seen a 7-Color Tree since I was a kid!

How did you find this, My Love?" Anna was amazed at the sight. Sarah filled me in on the fact that this tree had a name. When Angela brought me to Gaia, I noticed in the view there was a tree that had a blue and pink hue to it from where we stood. About a month ago, I was able to ask Angela where the location was, and she happily informed me. It was a simple 20-minute trip on the back of Hank to find it. Once I had the location, I needed to wait for Dale to complete my order.

Once that was complete, I needed to wait for the day to arrive. And now both of my Wives were enjoying the sight of the tree. Granted, I thought it was strange when I first saw this tree up close. Instead of a classic rainbow from my world, the lights were different. When I asked why this was to Rodrick, he was happy to explain. How it works is that Mana exists in everything alive on Gaia. Just because we use it mostly to help our Combat Ability, that doesn't mean everything does, like this tree.

It uses it's mana to create a hue of 7 colors around it, if something were to walk into the colors with devious intent, then a pain specific to the color would be inflicted. In this case the colors were red, pink, green, purple, blue, white and black. Apparently the darker the color, the worst the pain is inflicted. I should mention white apparently feels like being struck by lightning. I assume it works like a natural taser, like the gadgets back in my world.

While dangerous, the colors were like a natural light show. Almost like the northern lights in my world. Sarah was now waiting for me to answer her question. I suppose I can, before I pull out their gifts." When I spoke to Angela 2 months ago, we ended up over there, that's when I saw the tree, when I did, the first thought I had was that I wanted to show you both. That's how I found the perfect spot for our Anniversary Date!"" So, while fraternizing with another woman, you thought about us?

I don't know whether to praise you or punish you."" Come on, Sarah! Angela's a God, I highly doubt she would think of me that way, I personally feel like she's a long-lost Au-"" BIG SISTER!"" Well, usually there's a party or special meal made..." I reached into my pockets and pulled out 6 boxes, which I then put in front of them." And there's usually an exchange of gifts. In this case, I've brought 2 for both of you." I handed Sarah 2 purple boxes, then, I handed Anna 2 dark-green boxes. 2 dark-blue boxes were left in front of me. They were velvety to the touch. Open them!" I excitedly asked them to open the boxes. They followed suit without a complaint." My Love!"" Darling!" They both opened the boxes to find 2 Items. The first boxes contained a ring for each of them. The 2nd boxes contained a pair of earrings. Both pieces of jewelry have a dark-blue jewel embedded in them. However, what set them apart was the corresponding stone next to the dark-blue one. For Sarah, she had a dark-green jewel embedded in it and Anna had a dark-purple jewel embedded in them.

Their earrings matched their rings." Why the different colors, My Love?"" Yes, Darling, why?"" Well, first off, in my world, it's customary for Married Couples to wear rings on their fingers where I'm from, like I said back when we got Married. As for the jewels, the dark-blue jewel is to represent me, your Husband. The dark-green is to represent Anna and the dark-purple is to represent Sarah. I mean, I know you're both Married to me, but you both are Sister Wives and you both get along so well...

I thought it would be better to give a gift that reminded you of the other people in this Marriage besides just me. Was it a bad idea? I can take them back and get something you would like bett-"" NO! Not at all! I love it!"" Me too! I just didn't understand the significance of the gems, that's all! Don't take them, Darling!" Both Sarah and Anna vehemently opposed my taking the jewelry back. I'm glad they like it. Anna had a question for me after she calmed down, I listened closely."

But if the rings are traditional, Darling. What about these earrings?"" Oh! Well, I know how much you both enjoy fighting. Whether it be an actual fight or sparring. If you hit someone with a fist, or the ring gets hit by a sparring weapon or Gods forbid, an actual weapon, they could break. So, I thought the rings could be for formal occasions and these small earrings could be for everyday life." To my explanation, Sarah and Anna both smiled. It was a good idea to do this for them. This time, Sarah spoke to me."

Then, My Love. What is in those boxes?" I smiled at her as this gave a chance for me to explain what I had done for myself... Well, its technically for them as well." Well, you see this box has a ring like both of yours, however, my jewels are dark-green and dark-purple. Representing you both. And in this box, is this!" I pull a necklace out of the box and show it to them." This is a necklace with the same jewels in them as well as an inscription on the back of the pendant with your jewels in them.

Here give it a read." I handed the necklace to them, and they both read out the inscription together." Worlds Or Miles Apart, Always Close To Heart."" My Love..."" Darling..." Kiss... Kiss... This reading of the inscription led to Sarah and Anna kissing me. When I could breathe again, I spoke to them." Since men don't really wear earrings and I haven't ever worn them. I thought a necklace was the next best thing.

I know I don't say this enough, but, Sarah, Anna, I Love You Both more than the world itself, words will never be able to express how thankful I am to have you both in my life." With that, I decided it was time to move onto step 2 of these gifts. A bright green light erupted from my side and Lily appeared out of it." Lily?"" Why did you Summon Lily, Darling?"" Ah, so these are the pieces of jewelry, John?"" Yeah, that's right. Let me explain it to them first, Lily.""

Alright, it'll give me time to complete the preparation for the Bestowal." Amongst Sarah and Anna's confusion, Lily and I spoke a few words, then she began to chant words I'd never heard before and a faint green glow began to surround Lily as she did. I turned back to my Wives and began to explain what was about to happen." Well, Lily offered to Bless our rings and the other jewelry with her own Blessing. In short, it'll connect our Souls together.

Now that I think about it, do you guys even wan-" Before I could even finish speaking, Sarah and Anna rushed to Lily's side with my gifts to them. They then turned to me and gave me a look that said, "Hurry up and get over here!" I was just glad they didn't turn me down. I was trying to think how I could make this night more "special", then Lily brought this up." How long does this take?"" Longer if you interrupt her."" Um, we need to wear the jewelry by the way."

With my words, I had never seen my Wives so quickly place rings and earrings on themselves before. I followed suit so I didn't get stared at." Bestow!" wrap... Sink... Separate... / Woosh! Clink! / A green light surrounded us and sank into the upper layer of our skin. It then funneled into 2 points each. Our rings and the earrings for Sarah and Anna. And the necklace around my neck for me. The jewelry began to glow a scorching green light.

The light collected and condensed from the jewelry until 2 threads from each piece of jewelry formed. They then shot out and connected to the other's jewelry with speed that would probably rival lightning. Like that, the rings were connected to each other, then the necklace and earrings were connected to each other. I could feel a piece of myself escaping through the 4 threads that were made and in the places that were left incomplete, the space was filled with Sarah and Anna's presence." That should do it."

With Lily's words, the glowing green threads disappeared and all that was left was a feeling of connection between Sarah, Anna and me." Since he wasn't able to explain, in short, this Blessing is from a Spirit Sovereign, so comes with a few Benefits. The 1st is the Connection of your Souls, with this, as long as you wear the rings or the other set of jewelry, your natural Healing Abilities will be increased.

And since the Blessing takes into account the specific individuals, I'd imagine with John's Abilities, the Healing will be even better than usual. This will also extend to moments where your Lifeforces may wane, the other 2 will support your Lifeforce's Healing with their own. A very rare thing for those that live in Gaia. The 2nd is the Ability to feel where the other Partners are, at any time. 3rd and foremost, this Blessing is something of a Fertility Blessing.

I'd say the likelihood of you 3 having children has gone from around 50%, to around 75%. However, this Blessing is inherent on the intent of the User. And finally, the 4th component. With the Connection of your Souls, you'll be able to astral project to each other. This one takes time to manifest, however. But in time, you should be able to do things like enter the others dreams and even sharing a dream together has been reported. Now that my job is finished, I'll take my leave and allow you all to bond properly."

With her explanation, Lily left. I then turned to Sarah and Anna and said the only thing left I could say." Happy Anniversary, Sarah, Anna. Again, I Love You Both." I said everything I had planned. After I spoke, it was quiet for a moment. The color of the setting sun and the colors from the tree filled my vision as I looked at the loves of my life. Sarah placed her hand out to Anna, to which Anna handed Sarah both of her boxes. Sarah then placed the boxes with their jewelry in her Mana Storage quite carefully.

Almost like they were made of fragile glass. This process was repeated for my boxes as well. Sarah began to speak after closing the window to her Mana Storage." I think that does it, right, Anna?"" Yes, it does, Sarah. Shall we?" With Anna's question, Sarah and Anna began to approach me. Since there wasn't much room on the blanket anyways, I was willingly captured by my Wives in an instant." It was at this point I was reminded that we haven't actually had any alone time as a couple in these 2 months we've been back. With the Dwarves looking for homes, it actually caused a lot of confusion to the cleaning crews in charge of the houses for Delcan, Charlotte and Princess Alice. Because of that, they've been living with us for 2 months. They've even began to train with us in the afternoon, as they enjoy leisure time in the mornings. I felt envy for them on some days.

Considering that I was working quite hard while they were relaxing. That brings the total amount of time we've had to endure since we last were intimate with each other to 3 and a half months." I Love You." Kiss...

They both smiled as they leaned in to kiss me. Sarah and Anna placed their hands above their heads and created a Barrier that seemed to control the atmosphere inside of it. The Barrier felt warm and pleasant. Or was that their almost porcelain-like skin being pressed against me?

Our clothes were lost between us, and the moon slowly shined brightly on my Wives, which made them look all the more beautiful to me as it glowed in the night sky and acted as the only light source we had in between deep, heavy breaths and our skin beginning to slicken from the sweat we made from the intense movements we ended up doing. Of course... From all of that, we lost track of time. By the time we regained our awareness of our surroundings, the sun had already risen.

Instead of heading to the mansion immediately, we simply fell asleep in each other's arms.
