Name: The Fury Appx. size: ~10 feet tall Appearance: The Fury is a wraith-like creature. It operates on a strange plane of existence, like it's in between worlds. Resembling the ghost of a woman with hair, darker than shadows and sharp as razor blades. There are dark holes for eyes in a face blackened by dark smoke, with two ominous white lights to serve as the pupils. The hands are long, deadly claws attached to the creature by invisible arms.

Its full body is nearly 10 feet tall and just wide enough to swallow a man whole.

"A being of absolute rage and darkness. A being that could only be called a fury. The head of a woman, blackened by death and suffering. But it floated in front of them like a poltergeist, no arms but floating hands covered in the blood of the believers." - Chapter 21 -- Communion Comparison: If it had to be equated with a known thing, it would be most like a banshee from Irish folklore. In the tales, it's also known as the crying woman.

It's said to hover just above the ground like vapor, a phantom acting as a messenger of death. The banshee's shrieking cries were said to warn of the impending death of a family member. Loot Drop: Fury Summon (Beast Summon Loot) The Fury is a summon loot, meaning it doesn't appear unless the holder wills it. If one defeats the holder and equips its loot, then they'll be able to summon the Fury to fight for them. Fury's Abilities: Claws: Each of its hands is made of giant, deadly claws made out of some ethereal bone material. Whatever it is, they're nearly indestructible and have the sharpness to cut diamonds.

"At full strength, I've seen the thing slice a building in half." -notes from a redeemer. Wraith form: Its ghostly body allows it to phase in and out of the physical realm. But if one were to punch its wraith form, it would look like punching vapor, only to feel the cold left behind by its soul. However, this form is all or nothing. In order to attack, it must solidify its body, leaving it open to attack. Banshee's Cry: Its scream releases a strange dark energy that's concentrated into a beam of black energy.

This energy holds dark properties (element) and is the opposite of light. Getting hit by it directly will debilitate one's senses. Known Locations: Fourth Tree golf course (Acron). The first Thursday after Zero Day, between 2 pm and 5 pm. Attached to a ferret. Behavior (Speculative) While the Fury is a summon loot, operating on the commands of its masters, it does appear to have its own personality. When summoned, its power is spurred by the user's own anger.

The more emotional the situation, the stronger the Fury tends to become. At its strongest, its user holds high levels of loss, fear, or hatred. And the Fury will attack its enemy with a feral ferocity. Though it will prioritize the safety of its master when they're threatened. This isn't different from most beast summons, but there is one particular behavior that is different from the others. And that is its tenderness.

If the Fury is summoned and the user is in an emotionally compromised state, the Fury will cover them with its large hands, like cradling a child while holding the bloody knife used to protect it. And if one listens when this happens, they will hear it weeping.
