Once the host had left, the system looked around the area. With a minor thought, it completely transformed the place into a more minimalist style, using base colors such as white, beige-white, black, and ashy gray for certain areas, as it was the most optimal way to get things done. The host only needed a place to rest their head. Nothing more. Even though it was able to create a place, everything was empty other than the bedding and the shower heads. Everything else was without substance.

The shelf, for example, did not have any books that the host could use. However, the system went through the memories it still had left over from classifying things. As it searched through them, most things were blocked out, but it was able to find several books that the host had read in the past. With a bit of thought, it reconstructed them, filling up the shelf.

After doing that, the system moved around, observed the area, and determined that it was satisfactory before leaving to figure out how it could create a model capable of withstanding the shifts and changes that Nina could possibly undergo. As it tested different possibilities and scenarios, it did not notice much from the outside world, as Nina had potentially left the range of its analysis. Therefore, it could not hear any continuous data or changes from her.

The system continued its tests, mostly focusing on creating a model that could withstand these changes. Eventually, it managed to actively create a fingernail that could withstand shifts and changes without causing much pain. As the system was about to move on to creating the next fingernails, its host had reached the range. The system immediately looked at the stats panel, where it had pinned the Will to Live stat in front. To its surprise, the current value of Will to Live was 10.

The system felt a sense of excitement. That was amazing. That was progress. Now it only needed to inform the host that their debt had decreased because the value had increased to 10. As it was about to send the notification, it heard the host step inside. The system prepared itself to display the good news, ready to send the notification that the debt amount had decreased, when it realized something strange was happening. When Nina stepped into the home, she froze.

The system looked at her values and noticed that the false value had disappeared. The false value, elias, had disappeared. The system was about to ignore that change when a new false value appeared. It witnessed Nina's appearance change, meaning that the person she had become was not the person she had worn when she died. The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident. The person who now took over Nina had a sickly complexion.

Her hair scattered downwards, and she wore a flowing light white dress that moved gently with her movements. The system watched as the new 'identity' moved her heels while stepping onto the ground gracefully. She slowly stepped forward, touching the empty off-white counter with her hand. The system observed her expression as she looked around the area. She appeared mesmerized. The empty space, the simple colors, and the quiet atmosphere seemed to captivate her.

She looked at the area as if she had fallen in love with it, as if the place held something far greater than what the system had calculated when creating it. The system was stunned by what it saw because this was also the first time it noticed something new. This was different. As it was about to check the details of this change, it noticed that the Will to Live for false value was actually 30. Checking the other values, the system noticed that Self-Worth, on the other hand, was 100.

The other values were relatively normal, but the values toward gentleness and innocence were quite high, sitting at 80 and 75 respectively. Looking at the skills, the system realized that this new identity seemed to be highly skilled in the arts, with high values in music, composition, and the creation of art. She also had a new variable that had appeared, and although it was rather low in the stat list, it was still noticeable: a soft presence. A presence that intuitively made people want to protect her.

It sat at 100. This was quite opposite to Elias Blackmore and Nina herself. This person was dangerous. There was no way to explain it. She simply did not feel right. With all these stats that screamed life, beauty, and someone worth protecting, why was her Will to Live so low? Nina was a variable, yes, but this new person was different. Her Will to Live was only 30.

The system quickly went over to check if the other shifting things had changed, and it found that gender was no longer shifting between male and female. It had stabilized at female. Age, on the other hand, was still shifting. The name was also shifting, but the last name remained the same. Seeing this, the system concluded that when Nina was impersonating someone who was in contradiction to herself, certain aspects could not stabilize.

If the ages were different, then the age could not stabilize as it would continue glitching. If the names were different, then they would not stabilize. If the gender was different, then it would not stabilize. But seeing that the last name of the person who had been there before and this new person were both Blackmore and were not shifting, the system concluded that this new person was of Nina's bloodline. But why? Why was the Will to Live so low?

It was higher than Nina's, obviously, but compared to everything else, it was still far too low. And yet, the Self-Worth was 100.
