The Horned Rabbit had red eyes and a straight, sharp horn on its head. Jimin ambushed the Horned Rabbit with his controlled dagger. But the rabbit had keen senses. It immediately dodged as it sensed the attack. It was quick on its feet. But Jimin didn't back down. He changed the dagger's trajectory to attack the rabbit again. But it had already sensed Jimin's presence. So, it immediately charged at him, pointing its horn. But it stopped mid-air, as it got blocked by his telekinetic barrier.
Jimin immediately pierced the rabbit with his dagger, without wasting any time.
"Yeah," he muttered. Finally caught a rabbit… It was really easy. This block and hit strategy is really effective. A notification appeared suddenly. —----------------------------------------------- [A F-Rank 'Horned Rabbit' has been killed] Reward: +10 LP Total LP: 854 —------------------------------------------------"Woah… This rabbit gives 10 LP. It's better to kill these," he murmured. I should be able to find more, if I go even deeper. The rabbit had dropped a horn on the ground.
Jimin picked it up and appraised it. —-------------------------------------------- Name: Horned Rabbit's Horn Grade: Common Description: A sharp, ivory-colored horn harvested from a Horned Rabbit. It is lightweight and naturally pointed, often used for crafting basic arrowheads or needles. —---------------------------------------------"Just need two more of these…" He placed the horn into his inventory. Then, Jimin went even deeper into the forest. The environment around him gradually changed as he moved forward.
The forest grew thicker. The trees were taller and their branches tangled overhead, allowing only thin rays of light to reach the ground. Dry leaves crunched under his boots. Monsters should be more frequent here. He walked cautiously, scanning the surroundings. On his way, he killed 5 more Horned rabbits. The fights were short and easy. Horned Rabbits were solitary monsters. They rarely moved in groups, which made them easy targets. So, he could kill them one by one. Sometimes they tried to ambush him from bushes.
But none of their attacks ever reached him. Jimin continued moving deeper into the forest. He wiped a bit of sweat from his forehead. He looked at the growing number of horns in his inventory.
"I already got way more than required," he muttered. The requirement was only three horns. But he already had six. He stashed the excess horns in his inventory. Extra items meant extra money. I can sell this for around 40, 000 won each Suddenly, he heard something unusual. Human voices. Wait… someone's coming. He quickly jumped behind a thick tree trunk and bush, without making any sound. Soon, a group of students walked past the area. Jimin peeked from behind the tree. It was another party.
But his expression immediately soured. It turned out to be the party he rejected earlier. It just had to be these guys… The rich brat from earlier was there of course, leading the group. This text was taken from Royal Road. Help the author by reading the original version there.
"Keep your eyes open," the guy said arrogantly.
"The boss area should be nearby." Another member asked nervously, "What if we run into it suddenly?"
"Relax," the rich brat replied.
"There are five of us." Jimin rolled his eyes silently. I don't want to deal with any annoying trash right now. It's better to avoid any interaction. The party walked past him. None of them noticed him hiding behind the tree. Eventually, their voices faded away. Jimin stepped out slowly.
"That was close." He looked in the direction they had gone. It makes one thing clear. Most of the students are gathering in this area. It means we are closing in to the center, where the boss monster resides. His lips curled slightly. Gotta hurry… Or others will grab all the Exp and rewards. Jimin continued moving forward. Soon after, he encountered more Horned Rabbits. Six more, to be exact. Each fight ended almost instantly. Soon after that, Jimin heard another familiar voice.
"Jimin!" He turned around. It was Yuna. Behind her stood the rest of her party. Yu-jun, the tank. Min-ji, the mage girl. And Gun-woo, the spearman Looks like she's doing well. Yuna walked closer.
"You aren't hurt, are you?," she said with a small smile. Jimin chuckled.
"Of course not." Then, he asked, "Have you met your requirements?" Yuna nodded.
"Yeah. Our party has met the requirements." She looked at him.
"What about you?"
"I have as well." Then Jimin suddenly said, "But guys… Do you wanna raid the boss?" The entire party stared at him blankly. Yu-jun blinked, "The boss?" Min-ji looked shocked, "Are you serious?" Gun-woo crossed his arms thoughtfully. Yuna remained silent. For a few seconds, none of them spoke. Then, they started exchanging glances with each other. Jimin watched them calmly. This is the best option right now. I don't wanna attract too much attention by soloing it here. Even if it means less Exp…
And I may even find the weakness of the boss. It will make things easier, when I raid it solo later. Finally Yu-jun, the tank stepped forward. He spoke in a firm voice.
"Actually… That was our intention all along. We need the Exp. But we were not that confident... But with you… Maybe there's a chance." Then he asked, "By the way, how do you intend to fight the boss with us?" Jimin shrugged casually.
"Easy. Let me join your party first." The shield guy nodded slowly, "Of course… But… You know it's important to ask." He looked seriously at Jimin, "Have you met your requirements?" Jimin smiled, "Of course. Even enough to meet the requirements as a party member. So, don't worry." The party members exchanged impressed looks. Gun-woo, the spearman finally said, "That's impressive. You managed to do this much going solo." Yu-jun nodded approvingly, "We would be glad to have you in our party."
"Thanks," said Jimin. Then, Jimin immediately opened his party settings. He selected the join option. The window showed only one party close by, 'Four Leaf Clover'. Yuna said, "It's the 'Four Leaf Clover' party."
"Okay," said Jimin. He selected the party. Then Yu-jun opened his system window and accepted the request. A notification appeared. —-------------------------------------------- [You have joined the party: Four Leaf Clover] Party Members: 5 —-------------------------------------------- Jimin nodded, "Good." Then he said, "Time's running out. We should find the Boss's lair and raid before others." The party members nodded, "Let's go." The group began moving deeper into the forest.
While walking, Jimin casually checked his LP. [Current LP: 964] Now that I have enough to create that skill… Maybe I should. It should make things easier. Jimin opened his draft. Then, he selected the skill 'Weight Distortion'. A window appeared. —------------------------------------------- [Skill: Weight Distortion] Category: Active Type: Utility Rank: Rare Level: 1 / 50 Description: When cast, distorts the gravitational laws of all equipment or objects currently used by the user.

A notification appeared. —------------------------------------------------------------------------------ [Skill Successfully Created]'Weight Distortion' – Acquired. Total LP: 564 —------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Cool… But I still have a lot of LP left.
After a moment of thought, I should increase my Telekinesis's level. —------------------------------------------------------- [Upgrade Available] [LP Required to Level Up: 127] Would you like to upgrade 'Telekinesis' to Lv. 7? [Yes] [No] —-------------------------------------------------------- He selected 'Yes'. A notification appeared. —---------------------------------------------- [Telekinesis has reached Lv. 7] Total LP: 437 —---------------------------------------------- Then, he upgraded telekinesis to level-8 as well. —---------------------------------------------- [Telekinesis has reached Lv. 8] Total LP: 117 —--------------------------------------------- - Then, Jimin opened the skill window of 'Telekinesis' to check. [Base Weight: 22(+4) kg + (26 × 1) kg = 48(+4) kg Range: 13. 5(+0. 5) m + (17 × 0. 5) m = 22(+1) m] Now, I'm fully prepared. Meanwhile, the party continued advancing.
On the way, they encountered a few more Horned Rabbits. The fights were smooth, as their party coordination was really good. And occasionally, Jimin ended the fight instantly with his telekinesis. Yu-jun had collected the loot and stored them in a storage ring. He has a storage ring? He must be from a rich family. That thing costs at least 6 million won for the tiniest space. Within minutes, the monsters stopped appearing. The forest grew unusually quiet. And the ground ahead had fewer trees.
A clearing was visible in the distance. Jimin's eyes sharpened.
"This must be it." The party slowed down. In the center of the clearing, a massive burrow-like structure could be seen. The ground around it was scratched and torn apart. The air felt tense. Yu-jun swallowed.
"So… this is the Boss's lair." Jimin stepped forward, "Are you guys ready?" The party members nodded.
"Yes."
"Then, let's defeat the boss monster," said Jimin as he moved forward. The party followed behind. You are dead, Horned Rabbit King... The Exp and LP will be mine.
