The Holy Mother of Wudang trusted the judgment of the Tongtian Sect Leader. The Tongtian Sect Leader might misjudge a person's character (other saints might cover it up), but he would not misjudge a person's ability.

Every time the Tongtian Sect Leader accepted a new disciple, he would test them beforehand. Disciples of the Jie Sect were capable of influencing the course of history. No matter how unconventional the Tongtian Sect Leader was, he would not overlook the importance of this matter.

The Holy Mother of the Tortoise Spirit paused slightly, then her pupils contracted rapidly. After a long while, she finally spoke, "I hope my fellow disciples are not confused!"
